I love cats and I've been responsible for their care for almost my entire life. I've cared for every age of cat, from the tiniest kitten to the oldest seniors, and have provided at-home health care such as administering medications and subcutaneous fluids. I'm comfortable with cleaning litter boxes and hairballs. I love showering cats with whatever kind of attention they want, be that cuddles and pets or love from a distance. I'm happy to give them the playtime and care they deserve and send cat parents updates and photos to give them peace of mind while they are away.

I have fostered over 30 special-needs cats for the Humane Society, and I understand that each cat has a different personality and different needs. My goal is to help your cat feel as comfortable and safe as possible while their humans are away.

Katherine is my go-to when I need someone to care for my cat, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She is incredibly loving, caring, and attentive, and she takes the responsibility of looking after cats very seriously. She’s dependable and careful about making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. When I go out of town, I have complete peace of mind knowing my cat is in her hands.
Katherine cared for our shy senior cat when we had to unexpectedly leave town for several weeks. We trusted her because we had seen how loving Katherine has always been toward every cat that comes within her orbit; whether her own beloved companion, a neighbor’s neglected cat looking for some love and treats, or the local ferals she’d catch (at her own expense!) and take to get fixed. She made our kitty feel right at home—lots of affection, playtime, kept her fur brushed and her nails clipped, and was careful not to overwhelm her when she needed space. (She’s a standoffish, but very loving, cat.) Katherine sent frequent (and honest) updates, including pictures—when our cat started getting homesick towards the end of our absence (we’d never left her alone for more than two nights, and had never boarded her before, so a 3+ week trip in a new home was a lot for her to cope with!), Katherine let us know our kitty was struggling and asked if there was anything extra she could do to help lift her spirits until our return. Katherine is fantastic at reading cats’ emotions and signals and responding accordingly. I would absolutely trust Katherine with my cat again—whether full boarding or a quick drop-in, I know my kitty would be getting lots of love (and more than just food, water, and a clean litter box) under her care.
Katherine has always been so great to watch her friends’ pets, and now others get to experience how wonderful she is with all animals. She treats them as if they were her own and loves to share pictures of cute moments with them. I’ve seen her nurse the frailest of kittens and senior cats back to health. You can 100% trust her!

Schedule
Being with cats makes me so happy and taking care of them is a passion of mine. I’m available for morning and/or evening visits every day of the week.
- CatsKatherine can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- I am happy to provide simple medical care, such as giving cats medicine or administering subcutaneous fluids, if needed. It is also good to know if your cat ever gets overstimulated from petting, if they have any no-touch zones, and if they need help with grooming.
