“We've had Jenny over for both drop-in visits and overnight stays with our dogs. Our two particular pups can be a handful; we have one extremely energetic Australian Shepherd and one older, somewhat temperamental and anxious lab mix. Needless to say, they both require a lot of very different types of attention. Augi can display some fear aggression and she does really well with paying attention to his body language and giving him what he needs to calm down. Jenny is really great with them. She is extremely punctual even when we aren't and was very flexible when our plans had to change last minute--twice. We always feel like the dogs are more calm and attentive when we return than they have been with other sitters. Definitely recommend!”
About: Been around dogs and cats my entire life. Started young volunteering at local vet office, former bather in grooming salon, have pet sat for many friends and family. I have 5 cats and one dog currently. I have helped care for many different needs when it comes to cats as well. I'm currently at stay at home mom, so happy to come by morning, lunch time, and evenings. I'm happy to come when you're pet needs it most. I've been around Chihuahuas up to Newfoundlands and all ages and shapes of cats. I'm happy to drop in feed, water, clean dishes or accidents, play, clean litter boxes, give medication, give as much or little attention your babies need. And I will always make sure to leave your home safe and secure before I leave.

About: I’ve taken care of cats for my whole life and dog sat for neighbors for as long as I can remember. I’ve worked with the humane society to help manage animal health and have taken care of elderly pets as well as newborn animals. I am used to taking care of my cats daily, but living away from home I’d love to help other people give their pets a companion throughout the day. I am able to stop by every day before or after training and spend time making sure all the animals needs are met. I am very adamant about keeping the pet’s space clean and organized to prevent hazards from arising. I always follow the owners instructions and routines they’ve set with their pet to keep the pet comfortable with their situation.

I'm the caretaker of all boarded pups, but my family loves to help out. Dogs are one of the best things in life! I've been boarding dogs for over 16 years. I found Rover a few years ago and I absolutely love it! It gives me the opportunity to meet more of your fur babies! This is what I do full-time and I couldn't ask for anything better. ♡ I'm trained in administering medications, insulin, and doggy CPR. I'm highly experienced in caring for elderly, blind, or deaf dogs, as well as pets with impaired mobility. They will be pampered, cuddled, loved on, and have tons of play time. Every day your pup will get a minimum of 30 minutes of 1 on 1 outdoor play time with me. We have a dog door, so they are welcome outside anytime. We also play throughout the day inside. We have spacious areas of the house that we play indoor fetch and other fun games! I take pictures throughout the day of your pup's activities and then send them in an update each evening. You will also get a short video each day. You can contact me anytime. They won't be lacking any attention here, our family has a ton of love to give. Does your pet prefer the couch and bed? The more the merrier! Wants unlimited attention? We've got a big family that all love dogs! Loves being outside? We have a fully fenced-in back yard with lots of room to play! They will be safe, comfortable, and happy while we care for them. Dogs are family! ♡ Dog boarding is my full-time job and I love it! The fact that I get to pamper adorable pups all day? It's the best!! They have free range of the house to hang out wherever my family and I are, or plenty of snuggly quieter spots to relax and nap. I'm home almost 24/7! The only exceptions are me driving my girls to and from school, and about an hour a day for extracurricular activies that my girls have. The majority of the time, another family member is home with the dogs when I leave for those short periods of time. If you are concerned about your pup being alone, please let me know. I will do what I can do accommodate them accordingly. We have a fully fenced back yard with lots of sunny and shaded areas for play. We have a dog door for dogs to go out as needed, but I also accompany them many times throughout the day for play time and enjoy being outside with them. I monitor dogs closely during hotter and colder days so that we keep them safe and healthy. We play inside when it's too hot or cold and choose prime times of day for the most comfortable temperatures for play. Our fence has a concrete base which would prevent any sneaky digger pups from heading out to explore our neighborhood. It's 5ft tall gate is the lowest part, but the majority of the yard has a 10ft tall fence surrounding it. We have an ADT alarm system that is also linked to carbon monoxide monitors and fire alarms to keep everyone safe in our care. My goal is always a happy, safe, and well loved pup, as well as, owners feeling at ease as they get to see the fun their furry friend is having on their own paw-cation through videos and daily updates.

About: I have been caring for pets since I was in High School (many moons ago), I have had dogs in my household for 40 years. I am relied upon by neighbors to drop in to assist with their pets when working late or non-standard hours. I enjoy training dogs the basic commands, seeing the joy of a dog playing fetch, and want to ensure the pet owners know their fur babies are safe and cared for while they’re away. When in the office I kennel my dog and would kennel pups if boarding in my home. When my college son is home, he cares for our Shadow. Lots of play time when I get home. I have a large fully fenced backyard, plenty of room to run, fetch, or soak up the sun. I had to teach my rescue how to play fetch and it is so fun to see the joy in a dog when playing with them. It would be easy for me to provide care in the pet owners home or my home, and I am open to discuss options.

Stephanie was absolutely wonderful to work with! She took such great care of our dogs and treated them like they were her own. We are so thankful for Kara! She responded quickly to my last-minute request, she provided my pups with the much needed exercise and attention they crave. This was our first time going through Abby & Rover for pet sitting services. She was very thorough with her updates & I feel confident to say our Smokey girl was in more than capable hands. Abby was very patient & Smokey warmed up to her in just a few visits. It was such a relief knowing she was getting taken care of while we were gone. Highly recommend.
Katherine was a great sitter for our Baloo, she was consistent and a great communicator; we appreciate her willingness to go above and beyond for us, so we had a peace of mind, whilst we were our of town. We recommend her for care when you cannot be there to do so! We definitely will use her in the future! Plus, she is also our neighbor, so that was a large bonus!
Lydia was great with our cats while we were out of town. I had voiced concerns for our older cat who has some separation anxiety and she was very knowledgeable with signs of distress with cats and asked a lot of follow up questions to really understand the situation. She communicated updates very well on the days she stopped by. I felt so reassured our cats were doing well while we were out of town. I will definitely rebook with Lydia !
