About: I have always been an animal lover, especially dogs and cats ever since I was little. I have taken care of many pets and have even contributed to rescuing dogs from Puerto Rico. I am currently going to school and working part-time. I have 1 in person class on Mondays and the rest are online and for work I usually work on Saturdays so I have plenty of time to take care of any pets on Tuesdays through Fridays and I can also do Sundays! I always care for a pet as they are my own. I am willing to keep each pets routine as consistent and make sure they aren’t too stressed out. In my home, my four pets have a clean environment, I always give them a lot of attention, play time, frequent exercise, and regular potty breaks. I can follow the owners instructions for feeding schedules, exercise, and any other special requirements that your pet might need. I always make sure that pets have fresh water and food, and also a comfortable place to rest. If I am caring for pets at a clients home, I make sure to always respect their space and maintain the pets daily routine. I will provide walks, playtime, feeding, litter box or yard cleanup, and a lots of loves and cuddles to the pets and make sure they are relaxed and comfortable while the owner is away. About: I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare designed to feel less like traditional boarding and more like staying with someone your dog already knows and loves. I’m generally home throughout the day, so my guests get plenty of attention, affection, playtime, outdoor breaks, naps, and cuddles. I intentionally keep things small and personal, caring for one dog or household at a time. My goal is simple: every dog in my home should feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for almost 30 years. I spent about 15 years fostering and helping rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs, volunteered as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments, and completed animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services. That experience taught me that dogs aren’t one-size-fits-all. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and figuring out what makes them feel happiest and most at home. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. I want you to leave knowing they’re safe, loved, understood, and probably being spoiled a little more than they’ll admit when you get home. I am generally home throughout the day, and I keep our daily routine flexible based on the needs of the pups staying with me. Energetic and ready to go? There will be plenty of walks, outdoor time, play, and opportunities to burn off that energy. More of a couch potato? Laid-back days, cozy naps, and couch snuggles are some of my favorite pastimes! Because I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my care exclusive, I'm able to get to know each pup's personality and make sure they get the right balance of activity, attention, play, and downtime. Not every dog wants to do the same thing, and that's perfectly okay. Pups are rarely left alone while staying with me. If I do need to step out, it's typically for a short period of time, usually no more than an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.
About: I’ve lived with dogs almost my whole life. I live with a husky and a mini poodle mix. I also have a cat that is now 7yrs. I do have more experience with dogs, but I am so very close to my cat. I can take them for walks or to dog parks, whatever they need. I am working part-time at night at the moment, so my schedule is mostly free. Preferably weekends, but is not required. Can be flexible. I do have a fenced front and backyard. I also have a large kennel in storage if needed. I’d prefer to keep them outside if at my house. Very respectful of others space, I used to nanny and have experience being in others homes.

Tammy was great with our two cats while we were out of town. We have a Siamese that is skiddish around people he doesn't know and he even warmed up to Tawny. Tawny showed great patience when we made a mistake on our booking dates. Will use Tawny again if available. We didn't have to worry at all while we were out of town.
