“Stephanie took great care of my little pup while I had to go on a quick overnight trip. Plenty of photos, and she even changed out his water because I totally forgot to before I left. Would absolutely recommend.”

About: I started my career at doggy daycares and boarding facilities and I am currently a veterinary technician. I have experience providing basic grooming needs to dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I love all breeds no matter shape or size. I graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor's of Science in veterinary sciences. I’m currently working full-time four days a week. I’m available in the evenings and early mornings. I’m easily able to adjust my activity level to fit your dogs unique needs. I know how important a routine is with your dog. I’ll make sure that both your wants and your dogs needs are met to the fullest extent.
“Kara took fantastic care of my cat while I was away! She made sure to send pictures every day of my cat, which made me feel so much better being away from home knowing my cat was getting human interaction and attention while I was gone. Would recommend her to anyone who wants a sitter who truly makes the effort to care for their pets!”

“Spencer did a terrific job making sure my cat was fed and taken care of while I was away. He went above and beyond by giving her some extra food when my flight got delayed a day, so she would survive a day alone. Super Responsive and sent pics every day. Highly recommended!”

“Alyssa was great!! Even though my dog is very shy, Alyssa took the time to have come out of her room and had her come outside. She’s very respectful and followed the instructions I left for her in order. She came to my house to check on Canela and made me feel my doggie was not alone. I really appreciate her for that and if I need to go out of town again and I can’t bring my doggie. I’ll call her again. She’s really good with pets 😌”

About: I’ve raised many dogs and cats throughout my life and understand their needs—whether they’re barking, meowing, or simply communicating through their behavior. Reading pets’ social cues is essential to loving and caring for them properly. As a lifelong pet lover , I’m committed to not only caring for your animals but also getting to know you. Leave your pets in my care with confidence! I’m a stay-at-home wife and mom to two wonderful furbabies. I have plenty of time to give pets the attention, playtime, and care they need during boarding. I truly enjoy spending time with my own pets and those I look after! Every pet in my care is treated with love, attention, and respect for their individual needs. I not only follow their regular schedule, but will also take the time to learn about each pet’s specific preferences and routines from their owners. My goal is to make your pet feel completely at home—safe, comfortable, and loved, just like they are with you. Pets are welcome to roam freely throughout the house and enjoy supervised playtime in the backyard. For those who tend to mark new spaces, I offer belly bands as a gentle option—no judgment at all! I keep the environment clean and cozy, with fresh water always available. Whether your pet loves cuddles or prefers a bit more space, they’ll receive the level of attention and affection they’re most comfortable with. Their happiness and well-being are my top priorities. ❤️🩷❤️
“We had such a great experience with Christina! Throughout the stay, we received regular updates, photos, and little notes that showed just how well our dog was being looked after. It was clear our dog was happy, relaxed, and getting lots of attention, and love. We especially appreciated the reliability and professionalism, everything was handled exactly as discussed, and even a few extra thoughtful touches went a long way. Coming home to a happy, well-cared-for dog made all the difference. We would absolutely recommend Christina to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable dog sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Nikki is absolutely amazing! She did such a great job taking care of our pups while we were on vacation. She is an amazing communicator and cared for our dogs like her own when one of them became sick while we were away. Your animals will be cared for well with Nikki.”

About: I’ve cared for cats for over 6 years, including my own six with completely different personalities, affection levels, and boundaries. I regularly cat-sit for friends and family, and I understand that some cats are full of energy and love to play, while others need a gentler, quieter approach. I’m experienced with special diets, unique feeding routines, and caring for injured or recovering cats. I’ve done TNR (trap-neuter-return) for strays, provided post-surgery care, cleaned wounds, and given medications via syringe. I obsessively keep litter boxes and feeding areas clean because I know it makes cats feel comfy and happy at home! I currently just moved to Utah and I have open availability! I have a pretty early start to my day so I can take care of your babies early on! I am very cautious and understand cats are all different. I’ve taken care of cats that live together but require separation. I’ve taken care of pets in homes with both dogs and cats that get along and that don’t. I know it’s important to keep the routines your babies have and I’ll strive to do so!
“Michelle was awesome with our two baby hippos (XL Bullies). They can be a handful but they adapted to her very quick! We will be using Michelle again next time we need a sitter!”

About: I have always been an animal lover, especially dogs and cats ever since I was little. I have taken care of many pets and have even contributed to rescuing dogs from Puerto Rico. “Jenny is amazing! She eased our minds during an out of town trip and came and checked on/played with/fed our dog Tilley twice a day like we asked, and was very consistent in the times she came! She left a note in Rover for us and also multiple photos of our dog to reassure us that we left her in great hands with Jenny! We will definitely recommend Jenny to everyone we know and will use her again in the future for our traveling needs! Thank you so much!”

I was worried about having to go on a trip since my elderly pets need extra care but Alyssa did an amazing job and I came home to happy kitty and dog. Responded very fast, was easy to set up the check ins, and sent update photos asking the way. Would definitely recommend, thank you so much !

Aleksy did a great job looking after my cats. She took them both for walks and kept their litter boxes nice and clean. I was also pleasantly surprised to see the dishes used to feed my girls were washed when I got back. I would absolutely recommend her to look after your fur babies. ^^

Tammy was great with our two cats while we were out of town. We have a Siamese that is skiddish around people he doesn't know and he even warmed up to Tawny. Tawny showed great patience when we made a mistake on our booking dates. Will use Tawny again if available. We didn't have to worry at all while we were out of town.

Stephanie was very great. We were hesitant at first because we have only had family watch our pets before. There isn’t anyone else I would ask. Our cats are very skittish but they warmed up to her very quickly. Greatly recommend and we will definitely book with her again!

Alyssa was honestly amazing. She was recommended to me by a friend who'd used her multiple times and I'm so glad I booked with her. She gave me such great piece of mind and made me feel so much better about leaving my kitty for a week. She is clearly someone who loves animals and I'll definitely be booking with her again.

This was our first time going through Abby & Rover for pet sitting services. She was very thorough with her updates & I feel confident to say our Smokey girl was in more than capable hands. Abby was very patient & Smokey warmed up to her in just a few visits. It was such a relief knowing she was getting taken care of while we were gone. Highly recommend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
