She was very communicative and never hesitated to reach out with any questions or concerns. She truly went above and beyond, and we’d definitely hire her again!”

“Myia has done a fantastic job. She leaves detailed notes on each visit and sends pictures of my dogs. My dogs like having her visit and Myia does a great job at meeting the needs of my dogs.”

“Spencer did a terrific job making sure my cat was fed and taken care of while I was away. He went above and beyond by giving her some extra food when my flight got delayed a day, so she would survive a day alone. Super Responsive and sent pics every day. Highly recommended!”

“Eva was so great with our dog! She spent plenty of time with Lilah and was great with communication, always sharing pictures each visit. Would recommend booking Eva!”

“Alyssa was great!! Even though my dog is very shy, Alyssa took the time to have come out of her room and had her come outside. She’s very respectful and followed the instructions I left for her in order. She came to my house to check on Canela and made me feel my doggie was not alone. I really appreciate her for that and if I need to go out of town again and I can’t bring my doggie. I’ll call her again. She’s really good with pets 😌”

“Kate was amazing with Bailey, my golden retriever, providing drop in visits over the weekend. She fed and played with him and was great about sending photos throughout her time with him. I would ask her to watch Bailey again! Thanks so much Kate!”

“Highly recommend! So grateful to have found compassionate pet care. Makenna was amazing with my crew and the photos showed just how much they enjoyed their caregivers.”

About: I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare where your pup is treated like family, not just “watched.” I am generally home all day and host one dog or one family at a time, so your pet receives personalized attention, a peaceful environment, and plenty of love, play, and one-on-one care throughout their stay. No crowded boarding situations. No overwhelming chaos. Just a safe, cozy home where dogs can settle in, relax, and feel comfortable. I have almost 30 years of hands-on experience, caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, energy levels, and unique needs. My experience includes: • Owning and training dogs since I was 18 (almost 30 years) • 15 years fostering and helping to rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs • Animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services • Volunteer experience as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments • Pet First Aid & CPR certification • Experience administering oral and injectable medications • Currently enrolled in the GoodPup Dog Training Course to continue expanding my knowledge and skills My goal is simple: for you to feel completely at ease while your dog feels safe, loved, and right at home. I am generally home all day. I adjust my day around your pup(s). Energetic and needs a lot of exercise? We'll go for walks, hikes, and play to their hearts content. More of a couch potato? Laid back couch snuggles are one of my favorite pass times! Fur babies are rarely left alone. If I do need to step out, it is typically only for a short period of time, usually no more than a an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. Dogs staying with me enjoy a calm, home-based environment with plenty of love, attention, and one-on-one care. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

“It gives me peace of mind while I am away traveling to know that Jenny is looking after my two cats. She is very reliable, caring and knowledgeable. I appreciate her reaching out to me while I am away to give me a status report and photos of my cats.”

About: I grew up in a family that always had dogs and cats (and fish and ferrets and more!). I became the 'dog whisperer' of the household, older siblings asking me to get the dogs to do what they wished. Now I'm the go-to for family, friends, and in-laws for pet-sitting. Dogs are the most common but I've loved helping friends out with caring for their cats, guinea pigs, bunnies, and even birds - I really do appreciate all critters! I believe it's important for sitters and carers to be able to read the animals they're caring for and respond appropriately - it's easy for most folks to communicate with big boisterous dogs but I'm also ready to mirror appeasement gestures and minimize myself for the shy guys. My goal is to reduce any amount of stress your pet may encounter while you're away. Summer is here and classes don't start until fall so my schedule is completely open and flexible. That means I can also help out on Sundays! My first step is making sure your pet is comfortable with me. Most dogs are heavily food motivated and just want to do a good job, so some easy commands and some kibble can build rapport quickly. Others prefer pets or a specific toy - anything to build a positive association with my presence. I'll let cats choose how they would like to interact - calmly and politely as to not spook them. A comfortable animal then allows me to safely make sure they are fed and watered. I happily get to socialize and play with your willing pets while respecting the boundaries of those pets who can be shy or anxious. If you know your pet will never be comfortable with me, lets discuss that pets specific behaviors and build a plan to make sure their needs are being met safely.
About: I treat your pet as if they were my own. I pay attention to each pets personality, routines, and comfort needs. I’m responsive, dependable and committed to making owners feel at ease. I have a pretty flexible schedule. I work a part time job and have a dog of my own, so caring for pets already fits naturally into my routine. I provide attentive, loving care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. I make sure pets stay on their normal routine with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications if needed, and lots of attention.
About: My family love all animals. We would love to watch them for you! We have a nice back yard and 2 dogs at home that would love to play! I work part time and my kids are old enough to walk and play and feed your babies! They are 17, 16 and 13. We love to play and walk all our friends animals. I have a large fenced yard. And a very calm and quiet neighborhood. Fireworks are not allowed so don't worry and we do bring animals inside at night
About: For pups that need more than a place to stay, we provide peaceful, fun, private, in-home care. From daily walks and pup cup runs to catch in the yard, couch naps, training enrichment, hikes, and dog-friendly field trips, our home is clean, fun, and full of natural light, with music playing, access to a fenced deck, and plenty of sunny spots to lounge. We host one guest family at a time to provide close attention. Hello! I’m Helen, and together with Kayla, we’ll be your pup’s concierge. Between the two of us, we have a combined 30 years of raising and loving dogs, cats, and the occasional sugar glider. As dog moms ourselves, we need total peace of mind knowing our own pets are not being treated like a chore, but truly enjoyed. We want your pup to feel snuggled, seen, and loved just like at home. We each have a friendly, fun-loving dog, Leia and Arlo, who love hanging out and playing with new friends. They are oddly good at matching a guest dog’s energy and helping shy dogs feel comfortable. I also have two cats who don’t acknowledge any dog’s existence. We’d love for your pup to join our pack while you’re out in the world. I (Helen) work from home full-time, and Kayla, works during the day. I am the "Stay-At-Home" dog mom; which allows me to be fully present, so your dog is not left alone for long stretches of time, and they are consistently provided care. Kayla takes the evening shift with the pups, and tires them out with a lot of fetch, and tug-o-war with our mountain of dog toys. I take safety and trust very seriously; we have a very short list of people we trust with our fur babies, so when your pup stays with us, we are attentive and keep a watchful eye on their moods, body language, eating and bathroom patterns, etc. We want all animals to be treated with the same care and presence we give ours. If something ever feels off, I’ll reach out and communicate with you right away. We take extra note of how they are settling in for the first few days and will work with you to get them adjusted. We like to keep all the animals in eyesight, to ensure everyone is accounted for and comfortable. Leia and Arlo follow us everywhere, so where they go the other dogs usually follow suit. We change out water fountains daily (using filtered water from the fridge), and have multiple running water fountain stations throughout the house. I sweep and vacuum every two days so pups don’t have access to anything unsafe on the floor. My city requires dogs to be on leash in public areas, and I personally feel safest keeping your dog leashed during our potty breaks and walks. I do have a fenced yard, but there is no locking gate, so dogs are only allowed out there with one of us present. I generally avoid dog parks due to concerns around illness and unpredictable behavior from unfamiliar dogs. We regularly meet up with trusted, well-socialized dogs pup friends for backyard playdates. We have a park right across the street and a huge school field that is great for play.
“Sophie’s been so great with Winston! I have had to ask her a time or two for a last minute check in and she was immediately responsive and helped me out! Thanks so much :)”

Alaina has been a great pet sitter. Very attentive with our cats, leaves detailed reviews with photos, and works to accommodate last minute changes/requests. She also helped find and wrangle my rambunctious, door opening cats when they decided to plot their great escape. Thank you Alaina!

Stacey is the best Rover I’ve booked! She spent so much time giving my kitty attention that he was so content when I got home. She kept my place very clean and took very informative pictures so I felt confident that everything I asked for was being done well! Highly recommend booking her.

London took care of our 2 cats for almost 3 weeks while we were on vacation. London did everything as requested and then some -- like watering our 20+ plants!!! We especially appreciated the daily pictures of our fur babies, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. London's gentle nature even helped our shy cat to feel trusting enough to come out of hiding to greet her.

Spencer did a terrific job making sure my cat was fed and taken care of while I was away. He went above and beyond by giving her some extra food when my flight got delayed a day, so she would survive a day alone. Super Responsive and sent pics every day. Highly recommended!

Lily took great care of our kitties for an extended holiday trip, giving daily updates so we knew the kitties were doing well! She was proactive in asking about a few house-care related things, and when we came back, all was well with the cats and the house. We'll be back in touch for future trips!

Emma was once again, a wonderfully reliable pet sitter! She also was willing to help us out when I was unsure if we were going to make it back on time. She responds quickly to any messages I send her and I can leave our kitties with peace of mind, knowing she is going to take good care of them. Thank you Emma!
