“TL;DR: Myia was so fantastic with our cats that we rebooked her while the current booking was still ongoing! I'm so glad we found her! She spent an hour a day with our 2 cats for two weeks. She was very communicative and punctual. I had mild separation anxiety leaving the cats for so long, but Miya sent great photos and updates every day that made me feel so much better! During her visits, apart from her usual duties, she also cleaned up an accident near the litter box and brought it 2 packages that we had mistimed to be delivered during our travel. She also found a rogue vitamin pill on the floor and made sure the cats wouldn't have access to it in case it was toxic. She gave lots of loving to our social cat and listened to my suggestions on how to get the anti-social one to open up to her. Just a rockstar all around! I take safety and trust very seriously; we have a very short list of people we trust with our fur babies, so when your pup stays with us, we are attentive and keep a watchful eye on their moods, body language, eating and bathroom patterns, etc. We want all animals to be treated with the same care and presence we give ours. If something ever feels off, I’ll reach out and communicate with you right away. We take extra note of how they are settling in for the first few days and will work with you to get them adjusted. We like to keep all the animals in eyesight, to ensure everyone is accounted for and comfortable. Leia and Arlo follow us everywhere, so where they go the other dogs usually follow suit. We change out water fountains daily (using filtered water from the fridge), and have multiple running water fountain stations throughout the house. I sweep and vacuum every two days so pups don’t have access to anything unsafe on the floor. My city requires dogs to be on leash in public areas, and I personally feel safest keeping your dog leashed during our potty breaks and walks. I do have a fenced yard, but there is no locking gate, so dogs are only allowed out there with one of us present. I generally avoid dog parks due to concerns around illness and unpredictable behavior from unfamiliar dogs. We regularly meet up with trusted, well-socialized dogs pup friends for backyard playdates. We have a park right across the street and a huge school field that is great for play.

About: A couple who have two of the best fur-babies on the planet and would love to help you out with yours! My dog growing up lived to be 16 years old so I do have experience caring for a senior dog, administering meds, and being extra mindful of their physical limits. One of our fur babies is really prone to ear infections, so we are also familiar with giving ear drops, cleaning, and giving antibiotics for that. We have had both of our fur baby since they were puppies, so we know how that can be too and how much love, patience, and attention they require to be properly stimulated. We did have cats as well growing up, I don’t have any of my own, but I do also enjoy how relaxing cats can be with their more mellow personalities as they get older, but still super playful with the right toys. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner and Chris works from home. We both love animals, and would love to get to know your family. Both of us work full time doing 10 hour shifts, but we work different hours and different days commonly, so between the two of us, we can always coordinate a visit in the morning and the evening, the only drop in that might be more difficult to arrange is something in the middle of the day. Chris works from home and I work 10 hour shifts 3 times a week. We are both excellent at following instructions and will follow whatever care needs your fur babe requires. We just want to understand what will make everyone feel safe and comfortable.
About: I have owned dogs with my family growing up and and now my own little family! Mine and my husband’s two dogs are 17 and 15 and I would like to think that is a testament to my love for my fur babies. We also have two bunnies but don’t worry they have their hutch homes so your pets can either wander free in my home or my big backyard that is fully fenced in. I don’t have and special animal trainings except making your pet feel loved, like they are at home and comfortable while their loved ones are away for a bit. I currently work part time so I have plenty of free time but my husband works from home so there will always be someone home except for the occasional errands. We have a large fenced in backyard and they can roam free inside or out. We have two sweet older dogs that basically sleep all day but if they are awake are willing to play.

“We were so nervous having our Doberman baby go to a sitter. She is only 18 months old and very busy. Amber was amazing with her and, because she has a Doberman, she really understands the breed. She bathed our dog twice even though we didn't ask. She allowed her to sleep on the bed with her and May. We will use Amber again and hopefully have play dates with May! “This was my first time using the Rover service. I was very pleased with how everything went. Ivette was very accommodating. Admittedly, I was anxious. I have one easy dig and one not so easy. Ivette scheduled a meet and greet and she was fantastic. My dogs felt right at home and were very loved. I received regular updates and I could tell very easily that my dogs felt right at home. This was very comforting for me, as I was nervous to leave my lab for the first time. I will definitely use the app again, but I will most definitely have Yvette and her family watch my dogs again, and again.”
