“TL;DR: Myia was so fantastic with our cats that we rebooked her while the current booking was still ongoing! I'm so glad we found her! She spent an hour a day with our 2 cats for two weeks. She was very communicative and punctual. I had mild separation anxiety leaving the cats for so long, but Miya sent great photos and updates every day that made me feel so much better! During her visits, apart from her usual duties, she also cleaned up an accident near the litter box and brought it 2 packages that we had mistimed to be delivered during our travel. She also found a rogue vitamin pill on the floor and made sure the cats wouldn't have access to it in case it was toxic. She gave lots of loving to our social cat and listened to my suggestions on how to get the anti-social one to open up to her. Just a rockstar all around! About: While I’m new to Rover, I bring over 30 years of experience caring for animals. I am reliable, trustworthy, and take the responsibility of caring for your animals very seriously. ​I’ve studied behavior and training for years. I trained my own dog to become a certified therapy dog, and together we volunteered at Primary Children’s Hospital. I also adopted a reactive dog and took in a feral cat, so I’m familiar with pets who need time and a gentle, steady approach to build trust. ​I have extensive experience caring for senior and diabetic pets. I am fully comfortable administering oral and injectable medications and following detailed schedules. My own dog recently passed away and while nothing will fill that space, spending time with animals brings me comfort. I try to keep my pricing reasonable because this is something I genuinely love doing. If I’m caring for your pet, they’ll get the same attention and love I gave my own. 💛 I work from home, so my schedule stays fairly flexible. I do travel for work once or twice a month, so a steady (weekday) recurring booking may not always be feasible. ​I offer a serene environment with a fully fenced yard and a layout with minimal stairs, making it easy for pets to get around. Since I work from home, I am available throughout the day for companionship and attention. My household is free of kids and other animals, allowing me to prioritize one client at a time. It is the perfect setting for an anxious pet needing a gentle and predictable place to stay.

About: I grew up in a home with Shelties throughout my childhood, and as an adult I’ve had the joy of caring for a Corgi, a Labrador, and a calico cat. I’ve spent much of my life caring for animals as well as nannying children, so providing attentive, compassionate care comes naturally to me. While my work schedule doesn’t allow me to be a full-time pet parent, it does allow me to give focused, individualized attention when I’m home. I offer a calm, pet-friendly environment with no other children or animals, so your pet can feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. Safety and trust are my top values, and I don’t take it lightly when someone entrusts me with a pet who is so special and important to them. I care for them, like they were my own. I maintain a clean, secure environment and supervise pets closely while they’re in my care. I’m attentive to behavior cues, comfort levels, and any signs of stress, and I adjust care as needed. I communicate openly and consistently with owners so they feel confident their pet is well cared for.

About: I'm a pet lover who currently does not have any pets. I would love to care for yours. Comfortable with dogs of all sizes, bunnies, ferrets, birds, etc. I work from home so your pet won't feel lonely. Available for boarding any day of the week. Available for walking M-F evenings and weekend afternoons or evenings. Since I do work from home during the week I can only consider staying at your home Friday or Saturday evenings. My yard is large, fully fenced, fully landscaped and safe. I am home most of the time as well. Pets can be crated or non crated. I work from home during the day. Most pups like to hang out in the office near me while I’m working. I take regular breaks to let them out during the day. Once I am finished with work I am available for walks or playtime in the yard and relaxing/cuddle time before bed. I am a homebody and will be with your pet the majority of the time they are with me. My yard is spacious, safe and secure with no hazardous concerns. The neighborhood is quiet.

“This was our first time using Rover and we are so glad we did! When we would previously go out of town we would board our dogs at our local boarding facility and they would come home either sick or severely stressed. However, this past week we had Erika come and feed/play with them in the evenings and my dogs adored her. About: A couple who have two of the best fur-babies on the planet and would love to help you out with yours! My dog growing up lived to be 16 years old so I do have experience caring for a senior dog, administering meds, and being extra mindful of their physical limits. One of our fur babies is really prone to ear infections, so we are also familiar with giving ear drops, cleaning, and giving antibiotics for that. We have had both of our fur baby since they were puppies, so we know how that can be too and how much love, patience, and attention they require to be properly stimulated. We did have cats as well growing up, I don’t have any of my own, but I do also enjoy how relaxing cats can be with their more mellow personalities as they get older, but still super playful with the right toys. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner and Chris works from home. We both love animals, and would love to get to know your family. Both of us work full time doing 10 hour shifts, but we work different hours and different days commonly, so between the two of us, we can always coordinate a visit in the morning and the evening, the only drop in that might be more difficult to arrange is something in the middle of the day. Chris works from home and I work 10 hour shifts 3 times a week. We are both excellent at following instructions and will follow whatever care needs your fur babe requires. We just want to understand what will make everyone feel safe and comfortable.
