About: I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare where your pup is treated like family, not just “watched.” I am generally home all day and host one dog or one family at a time, so your pet receives personalized attention, a peaceful environment, and plenty of love, play, and one-on-one care throughout their stay. No crowded boarding situations. No overwhelming chaos. Just a safe, cozy home where dogs can settle in, relax, and feel comfortable. I have almost 30 years of hands-on experience, caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, energy levels, and unique needs. I am generally home all day. I adjust my day around your pup(s). Energetic and needs a lot of exercise? We'll go for walks, hikes, and play to their hearts content. More of a couch potato? Laid back couch snuggles are one of my favorite pass times! Fur babies are rarely left alone. If I do need to step out, it is typically only for a short period of time, usually no more than a an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. Dogs staying with me enjoy a calm, home-based environment with plenty of love, attention, and one-on-one care. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

About: For pups that need more than a place to stay, we provide peaceful, fun, private, in-home care. From daily walks and pup cup runs to catch in the yard, couch naps, training enrichment, hikes, and dog-friendly field trips, our home is clean, fun, and full of natural light, with music playing, access to a fenced deck, and plenty of sunny spots to lounge. We host one guest family at a time to provide close attention. Hello! I’m Helen, and together with Kayla, we’ll be your pup’s concierge. Between the two of us, we have a combined 30 years of raising and loving dogs, cats, and the occasional sugar glider. As dog moms ourselves, we need total peace of mind knowing our own pets are not being treated like a chore, but truly enjoyed. We want your pup to feel snuggled, seen, and loved just like at home. We each have a friendly, fun-loving dog, Leia and Arlo, who love hanging out and playing with new friends. They are oddly good at matching a guest dog’s energy and helping shy dogs feel comfortable. I also have two cats who don’t acknowledge any dog’s existence. We’d love for your pup to join our pack while you’re out in the world. I (Helen) work from home full-time, and Kayla, works during the day. I am the "Stay-At-Home" dog mom; which allows me to be fully present, so your dog is not left alone for long stretches of time, and they are consistently provided care. Kayla takes the evening shift with the pups, and tires them out with a lot of fetch, and tug-o-war with our mountain of dog toys. I take safety and trust very seriously; we have a very short list of people we trust with our fur babies, so when your pup stays with us, we are attentive and keep a watchful eye on their moods, body language, eating and bathroom patterns, etc. We want all animals to be treated with the same care and presence we give ours. If something ever feels off, I’ll reach out and communicate with you right away. We take extra note of how they are settling in for the first few days and will work with you to get them adjusted. We like to keep all the animals in eyesight, to ensure everyone is accounted for and comfortable. Leia and Arlo follow us everywhere, so where they go the other dogs usually follow suit. We change out water fountains daily (using filtered water from the fridge), and have multiple running water fountain stations throughout the house. I sweep and vacuum every two days so pups don’t have access to anything unsafe on the floor. My city requires dogs to be on leash in public areas, and I personally feel safest keeping your dog leashed during our potty breaks and walks. I do have a fenced yard, but there is no locking gate, so dogs are only allowed out there with one of us present. I generally avoid dog parks due to concerns around illness and unpredictable behavior from unfamiliar dogs. We regularly meet up with trusted, well-socialized dogs pup friends for backyard playdates. We have a park right across the street and a huge school field that is great for play.

About: I'm a pet lover who currently does not have any pets. I would love to care for yours. Comfortable with dogs of all sizes, bunnies, ferrets, birds, etc. I work from home so your pet won't feel lonely. Available for boarding any day of the week. Available for walking M-F evenings and weekend afternoons or evenings. Since I do work from home during the week I can only consider staying at your home Friday or Saturday evenings. My yard is large, fully fenced, fully landscaped and safe. I am home most of the time as well. Pets can be crated or non crated. I work from home during the day. Most pups like to hang out in the office near me while I’m working. I take regular breaks to let them out during the day. Once I am finished with work I am available for walks or playtime in the yard and relaxing/cuddle time before bed. I am a homebody and will be with your pet the majority of the time they are with me. My yard is spacious, safe and secure with no hazardous concerns. The neighborhood is quiet.

About: While I mainly have experience caring for farm animals, I love dogs and cats just the same and will be sure they are taken care of and their needs are met! Monday - Thursday I have school 3pm - 10pm so mornings and late nights works best. Friday - Sunday I am available to work all day! I treat all animals with lots of love and care, making sure that they are healthy and also happy! I especially like to play with pets and go for walks with them. If there is a list of responsibilities I need to accomplish for your pet, I will make sure they get done.

About: Pet friendly and love all kinds of animals. We are a home that loves any animal and our kids love having dogs around and show them so much love. Our kids are very well behaved around animals and get along with dogs very well. Someone is always home to watch and care for our furry friends. Love and care is always going to be available for your loved pets. Have a fenced in patio if needed and allow owners to bring their pets crates if they would like. Safety and security is at the top of my priorities to make sure your pet is cared for.

Family, friends, neighbors, (even strangers!) have often commented on the “special connection” I seem to naturally have with animals. I currently have (and have had) a menagerie of my own animals in my life (dogs, cats, lizard, turtle, rabbits, birds, fish, axolotls, frogs, hamsters, guinea pigs) and I adore each and every one of them. I am able and willing to walk, play, feed, potty, house-sit, cuddle and love any and all animals you’ve got! I work minimal, part-time hours during the day. No nights or weekends. So I am pretty flexible and available. I have my own full-time, dependable transportation. I am friendly, kind, and patient (with animals AND people!). I am reliable, dependable, and trustworthy. With us, your furry friend will get plenty of exercise, affection, and personalized care. We treat every dog like family and can’t wait to meet yours! I work early mornings during the week, and my wife is also working. We have a range from 10-2pm on most days (at worst I’m back home by 3) so that leaves a 4-5 hour range that your pup would be left alone.We’re both available all day on weekends and offer flexible care throughout the week. With one of us always home, your pup will get constant love, attention, and exercise. We care for every dog like they’re our own—with love, attention, and a balance of activity and relaxation. I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise with daily walks, runs, and playtime, while my wife offers a calm, cozy atmosphere full of snuggles and companionship. Although we don’t have a fenced yard, we live in a quiet townhouse community with lots of safe walking space. There are three parks within walking distance and several more just a short drive away. We also love taking dogs to the nearby Jordan River Trail for more scenic and enriching walks. Your pup will get the perfect mix of outdoor adventure and indoor comfort while staying with us.
