About: I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare where your pup is treated like family, not just “watched.” I am generally home all day and host one dog or one family at a time, so your pet receives personalized attention, a peaceful environment, and plenty of love, play, and one-on-one care throughout their stay. No crowded boarding situations. No overwhelming chaos. Just a safe, cozy home where dogs can settle in, relax, and feel comfortable. I have almost 30 years of hands-on experience, caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, energy levels, and unique needs. My experience includes: • Owning and training dogs since I was 18 (almost 30 years) • 15 years fostering and helping to rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs • Animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services • Volunteer experience as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments • Pet First Aid & CPR certification • Experience administering oral and injectable medications • Currently enrolled in the GoodPup Dog Training Course to continue expanding my knowledge and skills My goal is simple: for you to feel completely at ease while your dog feels safe, loved, and right at home. I am generally home all day. I adjust my day around your pup(s). Energetic and needs a lot of exercise? We'll go for walks, hikes, and play to their hearts content. More of a couch potato? Laid back couch snuggles are one of my favorite pass times! Fur babies are rarely left alone. If I do need to step out, it is typically only for a short period of time, usually no more than a an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. Dogs staying with me enjoy a calm, home-based environment with plenty of love, attention, and one-on-one care. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

About: For pups that need more than a place to stay, we provide peaceful, fun, private, in-home care. From daily walks and pup cup runs to catch in the yard, couch naps, training enrichment, hikes, and dog-friendly field trips, our home is clean, fun, and full of natural light, with music playing, access to a fenced deck, and plenty of sunny spots to lounge. We host one guest family at a time to provide close attention. Hello! I’m Helen, and together with Kayla, we’ll be your pup’s concierge. Between the two of us, we have a combined 30 years of raising and loving dogs, cats, and the occasional sugar glider. As dog moms ourselves, we need total peace of mind knowing our own pets are not being treated like a chore, but truly enjoyed. We want your pup to feel snuggled, seen, and loved just like at home. We each have a friendly, fun-loving dog, Leia and Arlo, who love hanging out and playing with new friends. They are oddly good at matching a guest dog’s energy and helping shy dogs feel comfortable. I also have two cats who don’t acknowledge any dog’s existence. We’d love for your pup to join our pack while you’re out in the world. I (Helen) work from home full-time, and Kayla, works during the day. I am the "Stay-At-Home" dog mom; which allows me to be fully present, so your dog is not left alone for long stretches of time, and they are consistently provided care. Kayla takes the evening shift with the pups, and tires them out with a lot of fetch, and tug-o-war with our mountain of dog toys. I take safety and trust very seriously; we have a very short list of people we trust with our fur babies, so when your pup stays with us, we are attentive and keep a watchful eye on their moods, body language, eating and bathroom patterns, etc. We want all animals to be treated with the same care and presence we give ours. If something ever feels off, I’ll reach out and communicate with you right away. We take extra note of how they are settling in for the first few days and will work with you to get them adjusted. We like to keep all the animals in eyesight, to ensure everyone is accounted for and comfortable. Leia and Arlo follow us everywhere, so where they go the other dogs usually follow suit. We change out water fountains daily (using filtered water from the fridge), and have multiple running water fountain stations throughout the house. I sweep and vacuum every two days so pups don’t have access to anything unsafe on the floor. My city requires dogs to be on leash in public areas, and I personally feel safest keeping your dog leashed during our potty breaks and walks. I do have a fenced yard, but there is no locking gate, so dogs are only allowed out there with one of us present. I generally avoid dog parks due to concerns around illness and unpredictable behavior from unfamiliar dogs. We regularly meet up with trusted, well-socialized dogs pup friends for backyard playdates. We have a park right across the street and a huge school field that is great for play.

About: We are a family of animal lovers! We live on 2.5 acres (fully fenced) with dogs, one horse, 2 pigs and 1 tortoise. We also have 4 kids ages 8months to 19 years. I have regularly watched dogs for friends and coworkers over the past several years and have been taking clients on Rover since November 2024. We have experience with all dog sizes and energy levels. Our own dogs are sizes ranging from less than 10 lbs to 145 lbs! Energy levels are from fairly lazy to herding dog level! All our dogs are very well socialized and love when new friends come for a visit! Dogs loving coming to our house because they get to be dogs! They get a lot of exercise by simply exploring our property and playing with their friends. We will help them make friends with dogs that match their energy, work on social skills (when needed) and help them find the perfect toy when they want to play alone. We do our best to accommodate each dogs needs. We provide crates and dog beds. We both work but we alternate who is working from home so that there is always someone home during the day. Since we have our own dogs, we have a daily dog care routine. Our dogs get fed twice per day but we can accommodate other feeding schedules and work with dogs who are "grazers". Dogs typically play hard in the mornings and evenings but we have a designated rest time in the middle of the day to make sure no one gets cranky from getting too tired (yes it happens). Dogs are usually kept on the main level where they can play, get on the couch, lay on their dog beds, eat or ask to go outside. All our stairs have gates to prevent exploration into bedrooms. The main level (including outside) is where we spend most of our daytime hours. Our own dogs do not get walked regularly because they play with each other outside and sniff the property for exercise. We do play frisbee, fetch and tug games with them and we have taken them on hikes. We are wiling to walk dogs if desired. We do not have a dog door but let dogs in and out as they need. This allows us to keep track of where they are better and ensure they do not go out unsupervised.

I enjoy spending time with animals and understand the importance of consistency, patience, and keeping pets comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I always prioritize safety, comfort, and routine when caring for pets in both my home and a client’s home. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior, personality, and needs to help them feel secure and comfortable while their owner is away. I keep environments clean, calm, and pet-safe by monitoring doors, food, water, medications, and any potential hazards. I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, crate routines, medications, and exercise needs. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pet, so I believe in clear communication, updates, patience, and treating every animal like family.

About: I've got two cats of my own that have been taken care of for the last 18 years. That won't stop me from loving other pets as well. I have taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family. I respect both dog and cat boundaries; a staple for any kind of short term or long term relationships. Whatever they need, I'm more than happy to help so that you know they are well taken care of. I work full-time, but have some available days during the week where I work from home and can take the time to care for your pet. I have a townhouse with two cats. The older one is okay with dogs, but the younger one will hide. As for cat sitting, the older one keeps to himself and doesn't try to cause fights, but the younger one is friendly and always wants to play.

About: A couple who have two of the best fur-babies on the planet and would love to help you out with yours! My dog growing up lived to be 16 years old so I do have experience caring for a senior dog, administering meds, and being extra mindful of their physical limits. One of our fur babies is really prone to ear infections, so we are also familiar with giving ear drops, cleaning, and giving antibiotics for that. We have had both of our fur baby since they were puppies, so we know how that can be too and how much love, patience, and attention they require to be properly stimulated. We did have cats as well growing up, I don’t have any of my own, but I do also enjoy how relaxing cats can be with their more mellow personalities as they get older, but still super playful with the right toys. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner and Chris works from home. We both love animals, and would love to get to know your family. Both of us work full time doing 10 hour shifts, but we work different hours and different days commonly, so between the two of us, we can always coordinate a visit in the morning and the evening, the only drop in that might be more difficult to arrange is something in the middle of the day. Chris works from home and I work 10 hour shifts 3 times a week. We are both excellent at following instructions and will follow whatever care needs your fur babe requires. We just want to understand what will make everyone feel safe and comfortable.

About: I love animals and am a very energetic person so there will be no problems with walks. I also love to relax and watch tv so your dog will get both ends of the spectrum! I love all dogs& cats like they are my own and treat them as good as I would treat my own. Even though I don’t have a yard, there is a dog park provided at my VERY pet friendly apartment complex. I also have many friends who live here that have dogs, so there will be plenty of friends if your dog loves play dates!! There is also a larger dog park within walking distance where I take them and tire them out so he/she will sleep easy! :) Everyday! I have two kitties I get to love on & take care of - it is part of my everyday routine & I absolutely love it :) Let’s just say I have two very spoiled kitties. With lots of toys, plenty of treats, & an ample amount of affection given (whether wanted or not) they will be loved on!

About: I love animals! I have 2 bulldogs and a Rottweiler of my own and have had dogs ever since I can remember. My dogs aren’t just pets, we treat them like family. I’m fairly certain they don’t know they are dogs lol. I currently work from home. I have 3 dogs and a fenced yard.
