Hi! I'm Niki. I've grown up around animals, and spent much of my spare time as a volunteer at the Humane Society. I have an energetic rescue pup at home who loves walks, hikes, and playing with other dogs, so I am used to excitable pets! I also have a ten year old cat who loves to cuddle and snuggle, so exemplary cat care is something I'm accustomed to. I love both of my fur kiddos equally and would show that same devotion to your pets too. I have worked extensively with my dog, Summit, on her manners and commands, and am happy to help your dog be better on leash or even teach them a new trick. When taking care of your pet, their safety is my #1 priority. I know that our fur babies are an integral part of the family, and I'll make sure to shower them with all the love and attention they so deserve. I'm happy to send photos, a detailed description of the walk or check in, and will always bring treats for your pet (with your approval of course - my pup has a sensitive tummy so I'll always OK treats before providing them!). I have lived in Utah for my entire life and know some great walking routes - my favorites are Dimple Dell, Crestwood Park, and the Jordan River Parkway- and would love to pamper your pup with belly rubs, treats, walks, and more, and help take some stress off of you! If it's cat care you desire, look no further - even cats who hate everyone tend to feel very comfortable around me, and I will give them space or cuddles as they (and you!) request. I live in a townhome and do not have a fenced yard, so I take my dog to the nearby dog park, and have lots of sunny window spots for my kitty!

I work from home M - F so my schedule is flexible :) just let me know what you need and we'll get it figured out!

- I would like to know your pet's personality as well as his or her needs - is she a jumper, does he love ear scritches, does she get along well with other dogs/cats/people, does he have any allergies, can she not have grain, etc. My dog, Summit, loves to play and run with any other dog she meets, so if your pup would like a new friend, I'd be happy to introduce them at a meet and greet!
