“TL;DR: Myia was so fantastic with our cats that we rebooked her while the current booking was still ongoing! I'm so glad we found her! She spent an hour a day with our 2 cats for two weeks. She was very communicative and punctual. I had mild separation anxiety leaving the cats for so long, but Miya sent great photos and updates every day that made me feel so much better! During her visits, apart from her usual duties, she also cleaned up an accident near the litter box and brought it 2 packages that we had mistimed to be delivered during our travel. She also found a rogue vitamin pill on the floor and made sure the cats wouldn't have access to it in case it was toxic. She gave lots of loving to our social cat and listened to my suggestions on how to get the anti-social one to open up to her. Just a rockstar all around! About: Welcome to Wiggly Butt Retreat, where dogs are spoiled, snuggled, and adored. I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare designed to feel less like traditional boarding and more like staying with someone your dog already knows and loves. I am generally home throughout the day, so my guests get plenty of attention, affection, playtime, outdoor breaks, and, of course, naps and cuddles. I intentionally keep things small and personal. I mostly care for one dog/household at a time. If I do take more than one, it's always discussed with owners and I'm very selective about the dogs I accept together. I've raised and trained my own dogs, spent about 15 years fostering and helping rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs, volunteered as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments, and completed animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services. That experience has taught me that dogs aren't one-size-fits-all. Some want to play all day. Some would happily spend the afternoon curled up next to me. Some need a little extra patience before they decide I'm trustworthy. And some need more structure, space, or reassurance to feel comfortable. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog's personality and figuring out what makes them happiest. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. Cozy home, calm vibes, happy tails. I am generally home throughout the day, and I keep our daily routine flexible based on the needs of the pups staying with me. Energetic and ready to go? There will be plenty of walks, outdoor time, play, and opportunities to burn off that energy. More of a couch potato? Laid-back days, cozy naps, and couch snuggles are some of my favorite pastimes! Because I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my care exclusive/small, I'm able to get to know each pup's personality and make sure they get the right balance of activity, attention, play, and downtime. Not every dog wants to do the same thing, and that's perfectly okay. Pups are rarely left alone while staying with me. If I do need to step out, it's typically for a short period of time, usually no more than an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

About: Privately insured. I’ve always had many different kids of pets and I’m comfortable with large and small breed dogs as well as cats. I have a large three level townhome with a four year old husky mix and some awesome teenage kids to play with if your baby is ready for some fun. I have plenty of space inside, as well as options for kennels. We do twice daily long walks if the weather is good, and plenty of short potty breaks throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule and I can give your pets attention, play time and potty breaks as needed. I like sending updates throughout your pets stay so that you have fun pics and videos to see what we’ve been up to every day :) I have a playful, friendly pooch of my own, but he doesn’t need to interact with your pets if anyone is feeling uncomfortable. About: I’ve been pet sitting for all types of animals since I was 7 years old. I’ve pet sat dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. My partner and I currently foster dogs as well. We’ve fostered puppies and senior dogs so we are both very well equipped to nurture any type of pup you have. We have given medication to our fosters and can accommodate your dog in any way you need us to. I’m currently a nanny. I drop the kids off at 8:40 AM to school and come home to spend the day with the dogs until I need to pick the kids up from school at 3:40. I am usually off work at 5:30 (no later) but by then my partner William is home with the dogs. At most, your pup will be along for two hours in the morning. We treat every animal like they are our own child. We will make sure to care for your pet in any specific way you need. All pets are allowed on our furniture, along with sleeping in bed with us. I will do all the overnight and weekend pup loving. -I have an 8-year-old medium-sized, medium-energy female blue healer mix who will mostly keep to herself. She is not kennel trained, but we do have a large-size crate for your pup if needed. We are (usually) available any day and any hour. On weekdays, I don't work from home, but my husband does. He is equally caring toward all dogs. I will do all the overnight and weekend pup loving. I have a fully fenced back yard with a medium sized doggie door. I live within minutes of multiple parks. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life! I currently have a sweet goldendoodle that loves a friend. I have 2 grade school kids who love dogs. I have a fenced yard and a quiet neighborhood with a walking trail near. I work from home and take my own pup for walks everyday. Could definitely fit another furry friend into that schedule. When I'm running around my dog usually comes with me, weather permitting. I have a fenced yard. I keep my own pup inside mostly when I have to run errands, unless the weather and timing happens to be perfect for her to go for a ride. If I am leaving without my dog, I do put her in her kennel, and would need a kennel for dog sitting someone else's dog as well. My dog is an inside dog. I would treat any other dog the same unless they wanted to be outside more.

About: I’ve grown up having at least one, if not multiple pets. Dogs, cats, and fish. I’ve only recently taken up pet sitting, but have taken care of dogs, cats, fish, snakes and hedgehogs! While you are away your pet will be 100% taken care of. We are open to dog meets to make sure your dog is comfortable around our Black Lab and family. We are happy to a see any questions you may have about your pet’s stay or daily check in and walks. We are available to take care of your pet throughout the day. There’s usually somebody home most of the day we work from home and can work around our schedule to help take dogs outside to use the restroom. We typically play fetch and go on walks after the workday at night. We may have to be out of the home for a few hours. We prefer to have dogs in their crate if we need to leave they will also be sleeping in a crate at night. I have a fenced yard and one friendly lab to keep your dog occupied and having fun. In-home visits are possible for dog walking or a quick check-ins. However, this time may be more limited to mornings and evening. Please ask us if you have special requirements for your dog and we can work that out with our work schedule. All dogs in our home are not allowed to be on furniture. We do accept dogs on weekdays and weekends.
About: I love animals and have been around them my entire life. My first job when I turned 16 was at a dog daycare and I was quickly promoted to assistant manager. I’ve taken classes on pet CPR, have experience with nervous dogs, and know the proper way to accommodate them. I have never met a dog I did not like. I work remotely so I am able to give your dog as much attention as they need whether they need to just sit by me, go outside frequently, or want to take a moment to play. I currently work full time, but I work fully remote out of my home office and can give dogs as much attention as they need. I know how important your pets are to you because I have pets and I love them deeply. I have a fenced yard and my own cute giant schnauzer. I have the space to keep pets separate if they are nervous or allow them to play if they are friendly. I can keep your fur baby in my office with me all day, crate them, play with them, and feed them (separately from any other dogs on the premises as though my work at a dog daycare and I am very aware that dogs can be protective about their food.)

I only work a few hours on the weekends and will always wake up earlier and stay up later if the dog is used to that schedule. I still live with my family, so there is always someone in the house, so the dog isn't alone. When I dogsit, I can walk the dog multiple times a day and fit it into my schedule if I work that weekend. If the dog likes car rides, I take them with me to run some errands so they can get out of the house. I have a large unfenced yard, so I will monitor your dog when they are out there. There are four of us in my house, and we have no kids. I have a gate to my upstairs level since it's carpet, but my first floor is spacious, so your dog can walk around and lie wherever. I don't have pets of my own, and I only take care of 1 dog at a time. We have a few plants in the living room area, but are willing to move them outside if your dog is prone to playing with them. I have a couch cover, so dogs are free to lie on the couch if they are used to that. I also make sure to walk dogs away from other dogs in case they are prone to aggression when seeing other dogs, and for their safety.

About: Welcome to Wiggly Butt Retreat, where dogs are spoiled, snuggled, and adored. I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare designed to feel less like traditional boarding and more like staying with someone your dog already knows and loves. I am generally home throughout the day, so my guests get plenty of attention, affection, playtime, outdoor breaks, and, of course, naps and cuddles. I intentionally keep things small and personal. I mostly care for one dog/household at a time. If I do take more than one, it's always discussed with owners and I'm very selective about the dogs I accept together. I consider personality, temperament, size, energy level, age, and individual needs because I want every dog in my home to feel safe and comfortable. This is not a crowded kennel or large daycare environment. It is my home, and every dog who stays here becomes part of it for a little while. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for almost 30 years. I've raised and trained my own dogs, spent about 15 years fostering and helping rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs, volunteered as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments, and completed animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services. That experience has taught me that dogs aren't one-size-fits-all. Some want to play all day. Some would happily spend the afternoon curled up next to me. Some need a little extra patience before they decide I'm trustworthy. And some need more structure, space, or reassurance to feel comfortable. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog's personality and figuring out what makes them happiest. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. There will be plenty of walks, outdoor time, play, and opportunities to burn off that energy. More of a couch potato? Laid-back days, cozy naps, and couch snuggles are some of my favorite pastimes! Because I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my care exclusive/small, I'm able to get to know each pup's personality and make sure they get the right balance of activity, attention, play, and downtime. Not every dog wants to do the same thing, and that's perfectly okay. Pups are rarely left alone while staying with me. If I do need to step out, it's typically for a short period of time, usually no more than an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

About: I had multiple rescue dogs growing up and now live without animals due to my job. I have cared for family/friends’ puppies, dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, and goats over the years. I love going on walks, hikes, and playing and cuddling with doggos! I have cared for many ages, breeds, and needs, so let me know if your furry friend requires any special accommodations. I only dog sit/walk for one family at a time (up to 3 dogs per family). I work Monday through Friday from 8 to 4 so I am free for drop-ins on weekdays after work or I can provide in-home care on weekends, along with overnight stays in my home. I live in an apartment with access to a large dog park nearby. Dogs are allowed on furniture and can move freely in my home. I do not own a crate so if your dog requires one, I just ask that you provide it.

I currently work 12hr shifts, from 12pm-Midnight, Wednesday through Friday, and every other Saturday. During my work days I can accommodate 1 morning walk or drop in visit, otherwise Sunday-Tuesday I’ll have full open availability.
