About: Welcome to Wiggly Butt Retreat, where dogs are spoiled, snuggled, and adored. I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare designed to feel less like traditional boarding and more like staying with someone your dog already knows and loves. I am generally home throughout the day, so my guests get plenty of attention, affection, playtime, outdoor breaks, and, of course, naps and cuddles. I intentionally keep things small and personal. I mostly care for one dog/household at a time. If I do take more than one, it's always discussed with owners and I'm very selective about the dogs I accept together. I consider personality, temperament, size, energy level, age, and individual needs because I want every dog in my home to feel safe and comfortable. This is not a crowded kennel or large daycare environment. It is my home, and every dog who stays here becomes part of it for a little while. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for almost 30 years. I've raised and trained my own dogs, spent about 15 years fostering and helping rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs, volunteered as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments, and completed animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services. That experience has taught me that dogs aren't one-size-fits-all. Some want to play all day. Some would happily spend the afternoon curled up next to me. Some need a little extra patience before they decide I'm trustworthy. And some need more structure, space, or reassurance to feel comfortable. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog's personality and figuring out what makes them happiest. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. There will be plenty of walks, outdoor time, play, and opportunities to burn off that energy. More of a couch potato? Laid-back days, cozy naps, and couch snuggles are some of my favorite pastimes! Because I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my care exclusive/small, I'm able to get to know each pup's personality and make sure they get the right balance of activity, attention, play, and downtime. Not every dog wants to do the same thing, and that's perfectly okay. Pups are rarely left alone while staying with me. If I do need to step out, it's typically for a short period of time, usually no more than an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.
About: I love animals! I have 2 bulldogs and a Rottweiler of my own and have had dogs ever since I can remember. My dogs aren’t just pets, we treat them like family. I’m fairly certain they don’t know they are dogs lol. I currently work from home. I have 3 dogs and a fenced yard. About: We are a family of animal lovers! We live on 2.5 acres (fully fenced) with dogs, one horse, 2 pigs and 1 tortoise. We also have 4 kids ages 8months to 19 years. I have regularly watched dogs for friends and coworkers over the past several years and have been taking clients on Rover since November 2024. We have experience with all dog sizes and energy levels. Our own dogs are sizes ranging from less than 10 lbs to 145 lbs! Energy levels are from fairly lazy to herding dog level! All our dogs are very well socialized and love when new friends come for a visit! Dogs loving coming to our house because they get to be dogs! They get a lot of exercise by simply exploring our property and playing with their friends. We will help them make friends with dogs that match their energy, work on social skills (when needed) and help them find the perfect toy when they want to play alone. We do our best to accommodate each dogs needs. We provide crates and dog beds. We both work but we alternate who is working from home so that there is always someone home during the day. Since we have our own dogs, we have a daily dog care routine. Our dogs get fed twice per day but we can accommodate other feeding schedules and work with dogs who are "grazers". Dogs typically play hard in the mornings and evenings but we have a designated rest time in the middle of the day to make sure no one gets cranky from getting too tired (yes it happens). Dogs are usually kept on the main level where they can play, get on the couch, lay on their dog beds, eat or ask to go outside. All our stairs have gates to prevent exploration into bedrooms. The main level (including outside) is where we spend most of our daytime hours. Our own dogs do not get walked regularly because they play with each other outside and sniff the property for exercise. We do play frisbee, fetch and tug games with them and we have taken them on hikes. We are wiling to walk dogs if desired. We do not have a dog door but let dogs in and out as they need. This allows us to keep track of where they are better and ensure they do not go out unsupervised.

About: Privately insured. I’ve always had many different kids of pets and I’m comfortable with large and small breed dogs as well as cats. I have a large three level townhome with a four year old husky mix and some awesome teenage kids to play with if your baby is ready for some fun. I have plenty of space inside, as well as options for kennels. We do twice daily long walks if the weather is good, and plenty of short potty breaks throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule and I can give your pets attention, play time and potty breaks as needed. I like sending updates throughout your pets stay so that you have fun pics and videos to see what we’ve been up to every day :) I have a playful, friendly pooch of my own, but he doesn’t need to interact with your pets if anyone is feeling uncomfortable. Cats and dogs are kept separate, and meals and bones are separate as well, with no free access to the kitchen. I have experience with special needs animals and medication management. I have experience in caring for dogs in heat, dogs that need medical attention, and the hyper ones. Some things to note: -I have a 2-year-old (human) toddler, thus your dog must be good with kids. -On weekdays I don't work from home, but my husband does. He is equally caring toward all dogs. I will do all the overnight and weekend pup loving. -I have an 8-year-old medium-sized, medium-energy female blue healer mix who will mostly keep to herself. She is not kennel trained, but we do have a large-size crate for your pup if needed. We are (usually) available any day and any hour. On weekdays, I don't work from home, but my husband does. He is equally caring toward all dogs. I will do all the overnight and weekend pup loving. I have a fully fenced back yard with a medium sized doggie door. I live within minutes of multiple parks. There’s usually somebody home most of the day we work from home and can work around our schedule to help take dogs outside to use the restroom. We typically play fetch and go on walks after the workday at night. We may have to be out of the home for a few hours. We prefer to have dogs in their crate if we need to leave they will also be sleeping in a crate at night. I have a fenced yard and one friendly lab to keep your dog occupied and having fun. In-home visits are possible for dog walking or a quick check-ins. However, this time may be more limited to mornings and evening. Please ask us if you have special requirements for your dog and we can work that out with our work schedule. All dogs in our home are not allowed to be on furniture. We do accept dogs on weekdays and weekends.

About: I love animals! I've taken care of dogs for 2 years and love every second. I love going on runs with dogs and playing with them. I am willing to do extra accommodations if needed. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to work with your pups! I only work a few hours on the weekends and will always wake up earlier and stay up later if the dog is used to that schedule. I still live with my family, so there is always someone in the house, so the dog isn't alone. When I dogsit, I can walk the dog multiple times a day and fit it into my schedule if I work that weekend. If the dog likes car rides, I take them with me to run some errands so they can get out of the house. I have a large unfenced yard, so I will monitor your dog when they are out there. There are four of us in my house, and we have no kids. I have a gate to my upstairs level since it's carpet, but my first floor is spacious, so your dog can walk around and lie wherever. I don't have pets of my own, and I only take care of 1 dog at a time. We have a few plants in the living room area, but are willing to move them outside if your dog is prone to playing with them. I have a couch cover, so dogs are free to lie on the couch if they are used to that. I also make sure to walk dogs away from other dogs in case they are prone to aggression when seeing other dogs, and for their safety.

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and have experience with a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, reptiles, small animals, and more. Growing up around so many different species taught me how to understand their unique needs, personalities, and behaviors. My three dogs are my best friends but I treat every pet like they’re my own and strive to provide reliable, patient, and loving care so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands. About: I have been watching dogs and cats for a long time. I worked with a little group for dog/cat sitting for 2 years and it was alot of fun. I went on walks 2-3 times a day. Made sure they had food and water. Gave them the medication they needed. Played fetch with them went on runs. All the fun things! I am not working at all, but I have time to do sit ins, take them on walks and I can stay at your house when needed! I will be gone for a whole week. July 18th-26th. I have a fenced in yard, lots of room. Nothing a dog can choke on, they will have all the freedom they need, couches to lay on to!

Thanks for reading! Hi! My name is Dianna. I’m in my mid 20s and am currently working full time. I live with my family in a fully fenced home. I have two dogs: one who is friendly and full of energy, and another who is calm and a senior dog. I have experience with high energy dogs, calm dogs, anxious dogs, seniors, and puppies! At this time my focus will be on drop-in visits: taking your pets out to go potty, feeding them, and playtime inside the home and dog walking: whether it’s around the neighborhood or with permission, I can drive them to a trail, park, or walk around the lake. I currently work 12hr shifts, from 12pm-Midnight, Wednesday through Friday, and every other Saturday. During my work days I can accommodate 1 morning walk or drop in visit, otherwise Sunday-Tuesday I’ll have full open availability. Please do not hesitate to reach out, I would love to meet you and your pet and help however I can! If you schedule with me, I ensure you I am committed and available to the days marked as "available." I update my calendar consistently and will get back to you as soon as possible, whether it be denying or confirming your request. Don’t hesitate to reach out and see if we can work something out!
