About: I have been watching dogs and cats for a long time. I worked with a little group for dog/cat sitting for 2 years and it was alot of fun. I went on walks 2-3 times a day. Made sure they had food and water. Gave them the medication they needed. Played fetch with them went on runs. All the fun things! I am not working at all, but I have time to do sit ins, take them on walks and I can stay at your house when needed! I will be gone for a whole week. July 18th-26th. I have a fenced in yard, lots of room. Nothing a dog can choke on, they will have all the freedom they need, couches to lay on to!
About: I have had dogs most of my life. I’ve had experience with young puppies to seniors with limited mobility. I’ve worked with all sorts of temperaments and personalities. I am self-employed from home, so it is very easy for me to plan my day around your fur baby’s needs. I can be very flexible. Whether in my home or yours, the safety of your fur baby comes first. My home has a fully fenced yard. I will not accept more than one dog at any time to stay in my home. When visiting your home, your home and property will be treated with the upmost respect.
“Having Maxton look in on our dogs while we were gone was the best decision I made. He was very kind and attentive. His communication and willingness to adjust to our needs were very much appreciated. He even taught me a trick to get my non-food motivated doggy to eat.! I highly recommend Maxton to anyone.”

About: I've got two cats of my own that have been taken care of for the last 18 years. That won't stop me from loving other pets as well. I have taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family. I respect both dog and cat boundaries; a staple for any kind of short term or long term relationships. Whatever they need, I'm more than happy to help so that you know they are well taken care of. I work full-time, but have some available days during the week where I work from home and can take the time to care for your pet. I have a townhouse with two cats. The older one is okay with dogs, but the younger one will hide. As for cat sitting, the older one keeps to himself and doesn't try to cause fights, but the younger one is friendly and always wants to play.
About: We’re a dog-loving duo who bring the best of both worlds to your pup’s care! I’m an athlete who loves taking dogs along for runs and outdoor adventures, while my wife is all about laid-back snuggles and cozy companionship. Whether your dog craves long walks and high-energy play or prefers belly rubs and naps on the couch (or both!), we’ve got them covered. With us, your furry friend will get plenty of exercise, affection, and personalized care. We treat every dog like family and can’t wait to meet yours! I work early mornings during the week, and my wife is also working. We have a range from 10-2pm on most days (at worst I’m back home by 3) so that leaves a 4-5 hour range that your pup would be left alone. We’re both available all day on weekends and offer flexible care throughout the week. With one of us always home, your pup will get constant love, attention, and exercise. We care for every dog like they’re our own—with love, attention, and a balance of activity and relaxation. I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise with daily walks, runs, and playtime, while my wife offers a calm, cozy atmosphere full of snuggles and companionship. Although we don’t have a fenced yard, we live in a quiet townhouse community with lots of safe walking space. There are three parks within walking distance and several more just a short drive away. We also love taking dogs to the nearby Jordan River Trail for more scenic and enriching walks. Your pup will get the perfect mix of outdoor adventure and indoor comfort while staying with us.
About: We’re Diana and Lauren, and we’ve been caring for dogs for many years. As a team, we’ve looked after dogs with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and care needs. We’ve cared for multiple dogs at the same time, including those with special diets, medication schedules, exercise routines, and dogs who simply needed extra patience, attention, or affection. We understand that every dog is different, and we take the time to learn their routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Our home is a great place for dogs to relax and have fun. We have a spacious, fully fenced backyard where they can safely play and explore, as well as a beautiful park right behind our house that’s perfect for daily walks, exercise, and plenty of sniffing adventures. Whether your pup loves to stay active or prefers a quieter day filled with cuddles, we’ll make sure they receive the care, attention, and love they deserve. Since we're a two-person pet care team! One of us works from home full-time, so your pet will have plenty of company, attention, and care throughout the day. Together, we make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. We want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and right at home while they’re with us. We live in a spacious house with plenty of room to relax and play, plus a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely enjoy the outdoors. Our neighborhood is very pet-friendly, and we’re lucky to have a large park right behind our home, making it easy to go on fun walks, get some exercise, and enjoy lots of fresh air.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life! I currently have a sweet goldendoodle that loves a friend. I have 2 grade school kids who love dogs. I have a fenced yard and a quiet neighborhood with a walking trail near. I work from home and take my own pup for walks everyday. Could definitely fit another furry friend into that schedule. When I'm running around my dog usually comes with me, weather permitting. I have a fenced yard. I keep my own pup inside mostly when I have to run errands, unless the weather and timing happens to be perfect for her to go for a ride. If I am leaving without my dog, I do put her in her kennel, and would need a kennel for dog sitting someone else's dog as well. My dog is an inside dog. I would treat any other dog the same unless they wanted to be outside more.

“Samantha was exceptionally caring and kind. She goes above and beyond to ensure your fur baby is taken care of. She did a wonderful job caring to our Bella’s needs. We will most certainly book her again in the future!”

“Absolutely amazing! We have used them multiple times and have never had an issue. We went on a longer vacation and had full trust that they would take care of our dogs while we were gone. Definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life. I had a Chihuahua as a family pet from birth until I was 16, and I helped care for him throughout his life. I currently walk and care for a mastiff/hound mix rescue, and a three-legged Golden Retriever. I’ve been caring for the Mastiff for almost two years, which has given me experience handling larger dogs and understanding their individual needs. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, drop-in visits, playtime, and making sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My Pet Care Routine I have a flexible daily schedule that allows me to prioritize pet care. My main work is dog walking, so I’m able to build my schedule around the needs of the pets I’m caring for. I maintain a consistent daily routine, including time for exercise, while keeping my schedule flexible for walks, drop-in visits, and other pet-care needs. This flexibility allows me to be reliable and give each pet the attention and care they deserve. I make sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for in whichever environment works best for them. In their home, I follow their normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions from their owner. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a clean, comfortable environment with plenty of attention and exercise. I always do my best to keep their routine consistent so they feel relaxed while their owners are away.

“She was really good with my 2 dogs and they both really loved her. She was very attentive and would send me lots of pictures and updates while I was out of town. Thank you!”

About: Hi there! I am new to Rover but I’ve been a dedicated dog owner for the past six years and have gained plenty of hands-on experience caring for my own dog. I understand the importance of providing pets with patience, attention, exercise, and a consistent routine. I’m comfortable with daily walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll treat your furry family member with the same care and attention I give my own! My own dog is just over 6 years old named Bear. He is a 20 lb yorkshire terrier who is very sociable :) I am a stay at home of two young kiddos so I am quite flexible (even more so if my kids can tag along) and will do my best to work pet care into my daily routine. I understand the importance of consistency, including regular feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’ll make sure your pet receives dependable care and feels comfortable while you’re away. I take pet safety seriously and will always follow your instructions regarding your pet’s routine, feeding, exercise, and care. As a dog owner for six years, I understand the importance of supervision, patience, and creating a safe, comfortable environment where pets feel loved and secure.
“Hailey does so good with our babies on her first drop in visit. She was on time and followed our instructions 100%. She also took the cutest pics of them. ? We will be using Hailey again for sure!”

About: I had multiple rescue dogs growing up and now live without animals due to my job. I have cared for family/friends’ puppies, dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, and goats over the years. I love going on walks, hikes, and playing and cuddling with doggos! I have cared for many ages, breeds, and needs, so let me know if your furry friend requires any special accommodations. I only dog sit/walk for one family at a time (up to 3 dogs per family). I work Monday through Friday from 8 to 4 so I am free for drop-ins on weekdays after work or I can provide in-home care on weekends, along with overnight stays in my home. I live in an apartment with access to a large dog park nearby. Dogs are allowed on furniture and can move freely in my home. I do not own a crate so if your dog requires one, I just ask that you provide it.
“Elodie provides frequent updates, was very respectful of property, and was attentive to Sam. She went above and beyond by visiting during a time period she wasn’t booked for because she was concerned about him. I knew Sam was in good hands from then on - thanks for taking such good care of him!”

“Jenny was awesome! She went above and beyond with our cat. She took him outside twice a day on his harness, gave him fresh water every day, brought in the mail and even offered to water our flower bed. We would definitely recommend her!”

Jessica is the best! I am and will continue to be a repeat customer! Since I found her, she is my go-to! She is excellent with communication. She sends tons of great pictures and I can tell from the faces and body language of my boys in the pictures that they are comfortable and happy and having a great time with her. My boys are pretty anxious around strangers, so that says A LOT! I have complete peace of mind when she is caring for my 2 dogs.
Allison is our go-to sitter whenever we can’t take our dogs with us! She was incredible when dropping in on our senior dogs as they were aging so needed some extra care, and now is fantastic with our puppies. We appreciate her communication and attentiveness to our fur babies 🙏

She was suchhhhh a big help. Our boy a pitbull with anxiety and for most he can be quite intimidating but they were über responsive, caring, and thoughtful throughout our whole time away from our dog. I cannot emphasize enough what a great job they did helping us care for our fur baby. Would recommend to anyone and everyone looking for walker/sitter

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
