“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jessica! Her and her family treated Parker like she was part of their own family. She received so much love, attention, cuddles, and playtime — especially her favorite ball games and walks. It gave me such peace of mind knowing she was not only cared for, but genuinely happy while I was away. I also really appreciated the frequent updates and pictures. Seeing her having so much fun and being so loved made all the difference. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond the way Jessica did. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pet!!”

“Karesa and her family took excellent care of Vida and I saw from pictures and when I picked her up the loved spending time with the family, we will definitely rebook next trip!”

“Amber and Tristan took such excellent care of our dogs! They have a lovely property for dogs to run around and play. They paid extra attention to our anxious dog to make her comfortable, and went to extra effort to make sure our senior dog ate well. Both dogs came home happy, well cared for, and tired from all the play. We would definitely book with Amber and Tristan again!”

“Karlie has a great setup and took awesome care of our pup. We didn’t have to worry about a long trip because we could tell that she knew exactly how to handle our dog and give him a routine.”

“We had just moved and were concerned about leaving Frankie with someone new. However, Cindy and Jay were fabulous. We received updates and photos every day, and when Frankie wasn’t eating, they worked with him and even prepared their own food for him. He had lots of interaction with other dogs and was well cared for. I highly recommend these loving pet sitters.”

“Mandi and her family took such good care of our pup. Every picture she sent he was happy and getting the love he wanted. They have an adorable golden, Hank, that was super friendly and they played well together. Her kids seemed so sweet with our pup as well. Thank you for being a great home for our pup while we were away!”

“Grace and Heather did an amazing job watching Peanut for the week. They sent pictures during her stay. Communication was great and she was flexible with our pickup and drop off times. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Sarah was absolutely wonderful! We had gotten a new puppy just a week before leaving on a week long vacation so we were really nervous about leaving our new puppy so soon, in another new environment. But Sarah was phenomenal! She provided regular updates on our little girl, and worked with her on potty training, and crate training, all while helping her socialize with other doggos and kitties! We've used a couple of other sitters through Rover and none of them come close to how great Sarah was! Will absolutely use her in the future and recommend to everyone!”

“Our pups were in great hands with Nicole, James and their kids. They had great communication, were accommodating, and our pups came home clean, well loved, and exhausted! We will definitely be using them again. Thank you!”

“You will NEVER find a nicer person and family to take care of your dogs!!! Ashley is the absolute best and her and her family treat your animals like they are one of their own!! They are amazing!!!”

“Uhhhhh mazing!!!! They took my Penny in as their own in every way!! Janelle’s darling girls called her Princess 👸 and they will sad to have her go!! She sent tons of updates and gave my Penny Pie - the works! So much love, attention and snuggles 🥰 This was the first time in two years Penny has been out of my care for that long and as a fellow Rover sitter we had so much peace of mind in her care 🙏❤️. Will 1 billion percent book with her again 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you Janelle 🙌”

“This was Ruby’s second stay and she loves it! We received daily pics and videos that constantly assured us she was in good hands and comfortable! We for sure have found our go-to for Ruby!”

“It's so hard to leave our dog Koda, but we know he's in good hands when we drop him off with Stefany! We loved how she sent pictures while he was staying there! We will definitely use her again😊”

“Wonderful experience with Sharon and her family. Throughout the 5-day stay, she kept us informed on how was he was doing and sending great pictures along the way. Odie will definitely be back!”
“We were nervous to leave our baby with someone other than family, but McKenna and her dogs were so welcoming during the meet and greet. Our dog seemed very happy and content during his stay with her and came home freshly bathed and nails trimmed!”

“They were so great with my dog! It was a fun home away from home for him, and they kept me updated on an appropriate basis. Bonus for being a le to pick him up and drop him off.”

“Very friendly and always answered my texts immediately! I asked if she could keep my dog an extra night and she was very accommodating. She even sent home a little goodie bag for Bella!”

“Cami, Steven and family were excellent stewards for our pup. Cami sent texts and included photos of our furry baby while we were separated. We could tell that our furry buddy got plenty of scratches behind the ears and attention from family. Would recommend these folks to watch your pup for sure!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Herriman
Amanda did a great job watching my dog while we went on vacation. I didn’t have to worry about him at all, and she gave a few updates while he was there. She managed his daily medication, which is not the easiest task. My dog also has a mild leg injury and I always worry he will come back from dog boarding with even more pain or progression, but he is doing so well - I’m grateful for how well he was cared for.

Grace and her family took such great care of my dog and I could tell she was very well cared for. She was happy/calm when we picked her up, which hasn’t been the case with some other sitters. Grace responded quickly and sent pics throughout her stay. Thank you so much!

Cindy & Jay were excellent care givers to my nervous pup, Ellie! Cindy was so responsive and answered all my questions beforehand (as this was my first time using Rover) Cindy's thorough daily updates kept us well apprised about how our dog was doing during our time away. They took such great care of her- helping her with her diet, giving her supervised social time with others, regular outdoor time, and letting her be her snuggly and sleepy self. She was very comfortable there, and I think Ellie resented us a little for bringing her home! Cindy & Jay were easy to communicate with and they were so proactive about letting us know of any concerns. I would definitely trust them again with our Ellie

Justine was phenomenal! She met up with me and our dog prior to our visit as he can be a little skittish. I could tell right away she knew how hard it was to leave your dog with someone and was a dog mom herself. She was so thoughtful and sent multiple pictures and videos throughout our dogs stay, which I really appreciate. We could tell he was in good hands and being cared for. Highly recommend and will definitely use her in the future.

Brianna and her husband Connor were great! They took excellent care of our two pups. We had a meet and greet to make sure our dogs would get along with their dog Pepper and it all went well. She is a sweetheart. They were careful during the introduction and on drop off day, especially with our small dog. During the stay they sent pictures and updates. When we arrived home they were happy as usual! Thanks Brianna and Connor!
Truly amazing! Our dog was so happy and relaxed staying with Jessica! I'm pretty sure he might try to move in! Our dog is quite the quirky old man, and not only was he able to be himself but he was so well cared for and just loved on the whole time we were away!

Jeff was incredible with my boy. Zeuce was loved and nurtured as if he was at home. Jeff’s family made Zeuce feel welcomed and made his stay all the more enjoyable. Jeff was also so communicative and gave us updates even though we were on the other side of the world. We will definitely use Jeff again; 100% recommend!!

Helen and Kayla were absolutely wonderful with our senior pup! We have an elderly dog with significant health issues, so we’re always nervous about leaving him in anyone’s care. After our meet and greet, where we explained his medical needs (he’s 120 lbs and had a seizure the day before our trip), both Helen and Kayla immediately put us at ease. They were attentive, genuinely caring, and clearly experienced with dogs, it was obvious our boy was in excellent hands. Helen went above and beyond, sending regular updates with photos and even a video while we were away. She also followed up after we picked him up to make sure he settled back in smoothly. That kind of attention to detail and genuine concern made all the difference for us as anxious pet parents. We’d give them 10/10 and will absolutely be booking with them again. Highly recommend!

Alisha was so thorough and intentional with my pup. She asked lots of questions and wrote down everything we talked about. She kept me updated throughout my dog's stay with lots of photos and messages. I could tell that they did everything they could to help my little guy feel safe and comfortable during his stay!

Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
