“We had a last-minute emergency trip out of town and Mandi stepped in without hesitation. She was quick to confirm our booking, incredibly communicative, and made the whole process seamless during a stressful time. Throughout Ranger’s stay, she sent regular updates and photos, which gave us real peace of mind. It was clear he was well cared for and comfortable. One of the highlights for Ranger was getting to play with her dog, Hank—such a treat for him since he’s usually an only pup! We would absolutely book with Mandi again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and kind sitter.”

“We were so nervous having our Doberman baby go to a sitter. She is only 18 months old and very busy. Amber was amazing with her and, because she has a Doberman, she really understands the breed. She bathed our dog twice even though we didn't ask. She allowed her to sleep on the bed with her and May. We will use Amber again and hopefully have play dates with May! Thank you so much for taking care of our Lyla.”

“Matti was wonderful with my two fur babies. Sent updates and pictures every day. As a lover of my babies and had the common worry of thinking my babies were thinking I abandoned them I really appreciate her reassurance towards me! I will definitely book again! Thank you Matti”

“This was the second time leaving our dog with Jodi, this time for a week. She is amazing and we fully trust her. She sends pictures each day and is so kind. We highly recommend her.”

“Beth was very caring and thorough looking after our pup Winnie! Sent lots of video updates throughout the day. She was also flexible when our plans unexpectedly changed, forcing us to return later than expected. We’ll definitely reach out to Beth again when Winnie needs a place to stay!”

“We feel our dog, Tyler, received a lot of TLC from Rachel, Colby, and their family. We enjoyed receiving photos of Tyler and receiving good reports while we were away. When we need a sitter for Tyler again, we will try to book his stay to be in Rachel and Colby’s care again.”

“Henry had an amazing time with Robyn. Their dog was an amazing playmate and they sent an adorable photo of Henry settling in and having a good time. Robyn was also very quick to respond to all communication and worked with me very nicely when I messed up the pickup time and asked to swing by earlier. Great experience for all parties.”

“Michelle took such great care of my black lab mix dog. She has a dog that my dog got along great with. She sent updates & photos throughout his stay. I would highly recommend Michelle’s dog care!”

“Sydney is amazing! Our dog Stewie is usually a fearful and anxious dog when he is in unfamiliar places and people, but he seemed to love Sydney and enjoyed his stay! We were able to meet Sydney before we scheduled our visit, which definitely set our minds at ease. We did not have to worry about him while we were gone because we knew he was in great hands. She even washed his blankets before we picked him up, and sent pictures during his stay. We'll definitely be asking her for her services again, thanks Sydney!”

“Jessica went above and beyond with my teddy! She was very communicative, sending photos throughout the day and his mood and was always there to play with him. I will trust Jessica with my dog for whenever I need to have a place for him in the future!”

“Ivette was wonderful with our dogs, Finn and Stella! She provided daily check-ins with photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dogs truly thrived in her family home environment and came back happy and relaxed. Pickup was easy and seamless. The whole experience was effortless. We will definitely have Ivette watch our dogs again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter.”

“James is the best rover we have ever had the pleasure of leaving our babies with. Whenever we travel and use rovers we have to ask for pictures and we worry about wether or not they’re getting enough daily activity and fulfillment. With James we received a constant stream of photos of our babies having, probably more, fun than we even offer them on a daily basis. With so many adventures we were more worried about them wanting to come home than we were about them having a good time. We 1000% recommend James. We just hope he will have availability when we travel next.”

“Seini was the best!! This is my second time booking with her and both times have been a great experience for my pup and myself. My dog is very old and has a lot of necessities, but Seini made her feel so comfortable and so well taken care of! Would 100% recommend! Thank you!!!”

“This is our 2nd booking with heather and our family is very happy with her services, heather is very good and reliable, responds within a timely manner and provides updates. Will be rebooking again.”

“Lisa took wonderful care of Max. I loved that she asked that we come by for a home visit/meet-and-greet before finalizing the reservation to make sure everyone was comfortable. She was flexible and accommodating of our schedules and sent multiple updates with pictures each day, which put us at ease. She went even further above and beyond to double check that her house rules wouldn’t interfere with Max’s training (we don’t allow him on the furniture). Lisa is probably the most thoughtful, kind, and accommodating homestay we have found on Rover - we will absolutely book with her again!”

“Arius and family did a great job with my dog while we were gone. We were able to do a meetup beforehand, so my dog got a sense of the place. I was immediately put at ease that she would be well taken care of. They sent daily updates and pictures of how things were going. She did so good! I would definitely recommend using them in the future.”

“Lindsey sent me pictures everyday letting me know my doggo was safe and happy. I almost questioned how much Quinn wanted to come home. I'd have to say that takes alot with how spoiled she is at home. Thanks Lindsey for being a great sitter for Quinn!”

“Marylynn was super nice and took great care of our dog! She sent frequent pics and videos of walking her and taking her to the park, which we appreciated. Definitely recommend as a dog sitter.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Midvale
Thank you so much! This was our first time leaving our dog at a boarding camp, so we were very nervous. Your videos and updates really helped us feel at ease. Our dog had an amazing time at your camp, and we could enjoy our trip to Yellowstone with peace of mind knowing that he was in great hands. Thank you for your care, attention, and kindness. We truly appreciate everything you did and would highly recommend you to others!

Sharaden was AMAZING and exactly the sitter we needed on somewhat short notice! Our dog is a senior pup who requires a peaceful home and attentive care, so we are a little particular about who we leave her with. To help us feel completely comfortable, Sharaden went out of her way to host a Meet & Greet beforehand! Sharaden and her husband are incredibly kind people, and we quickly felt at ease leaving our senior dog in their care. Their home is in a lovely, peaceful area that didn’t feel too busy, and it happened to be in the perfect location on our way to the airport! They have a beautiful, spacious yard and were more than willing to accommodate our dog's daily supplement routine. Plus, they sent a couple of photos every day, which gave us total peace of mind seeing that our sweet dog was in such good hands. We highly recommend them!

Heather accommodated our dog on short notice during a family emergency, and we couldn't be more grateful. She took exceptional care of our dog, including administering her medication multiple times throughout the day. Her kindness, flexibility, and attentiveness gave us tremendous peace of mind during a very difficult time. We highly recommend Heather and would gladly trust her with our pet again.

We had such a great experience with Jennifer! She took amazing care of Cashew while we were out of the country, and we felt completely at ease knowing he was with her. She was super communicative the entire time, sending lots of updates and photos, which we really appreciated. Cashew eats The Farmer’s Dog, so his meals are a little more involved than just scooping kibble, and Jennifer handled everything perfectly without any issues. It was also so nice knowing he was in such a loving home. Cashew and Jasper got along so well, and it was obvious he was having a great time. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog, and that’s all we could ask for. We’re so grateful for how well she cared for him and would absolutely book with Jennifer again. If you’re looking for someone who is kind, reliable, communicative, and genuinely loves dogs, we can’t recommend her enough!

Seini took very good care of our 16 month old Quinn. Quinn Loved running around in the large fenced yard. Seini has a lot of experience taking care of dogs, and that made me feel comfortable about leaving our Quinn with her. Will definitely use Seini in the future.

Juliana was amazing with Molly! She kept me updated the entire time and sent me lots of pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Molly was very well cared for, and I could tell she was in great hands. I would definitely book with Juliana again and highly recommend her 😊

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
