I work full time to provide a custom dog boarding experience . We take dogs staying with us for walks everyday. Several days a week we go to the dog park and/or for hikes in the mountains. Dogs staying with me will usually stay inside or wherever I am, with easy access to our backyard. I have experience giving subcutaneous injections and other oral and topical medications to several types of animals. I am experienced with dog behavior psychology and training, so don't hesitate to ask any questions. I'm pretty quick to respond to emails. I have been doing this for several years and love it.

We're Olivia and Nolan and we love dogs! Dogs are so special because they love unconditionally and each have something unique and kind to give to everyone they meet. We also want to be able to spend more time outside with new furry friends and being Rover sitters allows us to do that while also lending our experience and skills to the pups of Herriman, Riverton, and other surrounding areas.

My wonderful husband, Nolan, is a full time Rover sitter. This allows for flexible drop-off and pick-up times and constant affection, love, and care. Dogs love him and he is always down for a good walk, bike ride, or game of tug. We work together to provide the best possible care for your pups! We are privately insured and licensed.

We live in a wonderfully cozy home, perfect for pets complete with a fenced backyard! They sleep in the room right next to us so we are always close by! We have a Nest camera system to monitor your pups whenever we are not home. Our hours for pickup and dropoff are:

Monday-Friday: 630 AM to 7 PM

Saturday and Sunday: 8 AM to 7 PM

Before a stay, we would be happy to set up a meet and greet so you can get to know us a little better. We love pups of all sizes, breeds, and personalities and would love to care for your fur friend. We do like to learn any allergies or fears your dog has as we want to avoid anything that makes them uncomfortable. Our pup does not join us on meet and greets so we can really spend the time getting to know you and your dogs. As always, the safety and happiness of your dog is our number 1 concern.

Dogs were such a huge part of my life growing up. My mom owns her own training and boarding facility, so I have done multiple house calls, walks, and overnight stays through her company. This included feeding, medication, potty breaks, playtime, and exercise! I picked up so much knowledge from her so I would love to care for your fur baby. Nolan has been working with her for the last year to receive top notch training. We also the dog parents to a Great Pyrenees Mix named Bandit. He’s so sweet and has been the best companion we've ever had!

We know how important it is to be open and communicative so we’ll respond as quickly as possible to all texts and phone calls. We'll be honest, punctual, and trustworthy - providing care you can count on. Your pet will be treated how we treat my own, like family. We are thorough and will always lock up, making sure your dog has food and water and is comfortable. We always note what fears or allergies your pooch may have so that we can give the best care for your pup.

Our family has a two year old Labradoodle that we got when she was 10 weeks old. She has been to puppy classes, where we learned how to train with positive reinforcement. We have taken care of other dogs since we brought her home, so she plays great with others. Our daughter wants to be a dog trainer when she grows up! We offer a fun, exciting environment with a lot of exercise, but casual enough to cater to individual needs.

Puppy Love Pet Sitting

About Andrea: I love dogs and would love to get to know yours! I have a spunky little cocker spaniel/poodle mix that lives inside our home. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, hikes and taking trips to the dog park. I am diligent and caring towards animals.

About Shane: I grew up with all kinds of animals. My parents let us have waaay too many pets. When I was 7 we had a miniature schnauzer, two cats, three geckos, an iguana, two birds, a rabbit, three fish, a hermit crab, two turtles and two hamsters. I used to like dogs but now I LOVE them. What started as a way to spend time with my wife and her passion for dogs has really become a great part of our lives. By trade I'm a nurse that does house visits and through Rover.com, I feel like I'm just taking care of a different kind of patient. I look forward to meeting new dogs and would love to help take care of yours.

When your dog stays with us they are treated like part of the family. They receive one on one attention and frequent snuggles. Best of all, they get the chance to make friends with other friendly, well-tempered dogs. While you're on vacation treat your dog to a vacation of their own at our house!

If we are away from home, we have a dog door that your dog can use and access the family room from. Or we also have a well lit tile space that your dog can play in while we are away.

Experienced Doggie LoverCentral City-Liberty Welss, Salt Lake City, UT

Hi! My name is Liz!

I've loved dogs pretty much my entire life, and have always had special connection with animals that's unexplainable. While I don't consider myself as a dog trainer, I have helped train many pups. I focus on positive reinforcement, body language, and quick corrections for well-behaved and well-mannered dogs. Dogs don't speak human, so it's important to find a way to speak their language and show them the ropes with their style of communication.

I've been a Rover Sitter for about the last year, and I love it; this has become a lifestyle, and the pups I've met continue to come regularly. They have become a part of our family. We started out running our doggie daycare in our home, and have just recently leased a commercial space where we run our doggie daycare and often board pups if we have many furr-ends who stay with us. I am where the dogs are, so the dogs are never left alone.

I like to think of our environment as a transitional space between a home and kennel facility. I've made our space as much of a home as feasible because we often get dogs who have separation anxiety, or don't do well in large kennels. Additionally, our daycare is a structured space where we alternate the day between 1 hour play times and 1 hour down times. I've learned through experience that dogs get extremely exhausted in social environments and allowing them to rest in between playtimes is crucial for avoiding mouthy and pushy behavior that leads to dog fights. Having the structure allows pups to thrive off of a routine, they know what to expect, and enjoy.

While we get a lot of pups for daycare, I like to keep our boarding small and intimate so that pups don't feel overwhelmed at night time. We have home-style crates where pups who are crate trained rest, and many couches for pups who are not crate trained to rest on. We have trained our border collie, Charlie, to help us crate-train puppies; we often get little pups who need some extra TLC in the crate and Charlie helps provide comfort and security while they learn that a crate can be a safe space from external stressors. We love putting Charlie to work! All of the dogs are on baby monitors throughout the night so we can make sure everyone is resting well, and modify the environment if they're not.

One of the things I love to do is work with the dogs. During playtimes I'm constantly watching their body language, their facial expressions, and listening to their vocalization to make sure that everyone is having a good time. (Believe it or not, I learn each pup's bark and growl! lol) We have lots of toys for the dogs to play tug of war, and balls for fetch! The dogs learn to negotiate how to take toys away from each other, and also how to interact appropriately while toys are in the environment. You'll never see Charlie without a toy in his mouth! lol! Additionally, our little toddler loves to be outside hanging with the dogs, throwing the ball, and just being a baby! I help the dogs learn appropriate interaction skills around tiny humans, and also monitor his interactions around the dogs. When Baby Mateo is interacting with a pup we run a highly regulated environment.

Many of our daycare friends come consistently throughout the week, and this has allowed them to establish friendships and everlasting bonds. We have a Facebook community where we live stream our playtimes and many of our doggie pawrents schedule playdates outside of our environment for their fur-babies so they can play with their bestie! It's important for me to show doggie pawrents how I work with the pups, what type of behavior I correct, and most importantly, allowing them to observe the safe and playful environment we've created.

None of this would be possible without help. My husband, my baby, my friends, and my family are an integral part of my crazy-dog-lady-lifestyle. You'll meet them and see them helping me with our toddler, Mateo, around our daycare, and with some of the pups who need some extra love and attention.

When you contact me I'll ask you a series of questions to make sure your pup is a good fit for our environment. I'll request a meet and greet, and send you an invite to our Facebook community! Our family looks forward to meeting you and welcoming your fur-baby into our family.

Ashley is the best! She came to my house to walk my pups and found that one of them had knocked over a plant and spread dirt EVERYWHERE. She happily cleaned it up- which is above and beyond her dog walking duties! I never worry about my pups (or my house) when they are in Ashley’s care :)
