“This is a great family with happy dogs and an extremely clean house and yard. Rachel and Colby were very accommodating and good communicators. My doodle is a little needy and I received pictures of her receiving attention and lots of human contact. She was able to play with dogs, cats and kids and came home tired and happy.”

“We had a last-minute emergency trip out of town and Mandi stepped in without hesitation. She was quick to confirm our booking, incredibly communicative, and made the whole process seamless during a stressful time. Throughout Ranger’s stay, she sent regular updates and photos, which gave us real peace of mind. It was clear he was well cared for and comfortable. One of the highlights for Ranger was getting to play with her dog, Hank—such a treat for him since he’s usually an only pup! We would absolutely book with Mandi again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and kind sitter.”

“Nancy is the best! She and her kids took such wonderful care of my senior dog. She sent lots of photos and I could tell that Lucy had a wonderful time staying with her. She was very quick with communication too! My dog had such a good time she hardly wanted to leave lol. Will definitely be booking again in the future. Thank you!”

“Seini was so lovely to do business with! We have used her services twice now. Our dog was SO well cared for (AND LOVED!!) while we were on vacation. She was extremely attentive taking her to the park to fetch the ball most every day. She gives frequent updates and is a reassuring calm presence I trust her.”

“Jennifer and her family greatly exceeded our expectations. They took long hikes in alpine forests to waterfalls and mountain vistas every day (our dog, River’s favorite thing in all the world). They clearly and sincerely took time with each of their “guests” to get to know them and River was very comfortable with the whole family. In fact, he seems to miss them already. He had a terrific time and his “vacation” was as rewarding as our was. We’ll definitely be back..”

“Julie and her family are the very best, and our pup has had nothing but top notch stays with them. Great communication, flexibility, and most of all they really care about our dog. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.”

“We were so nervous having our Doberman baby go to a sitter. She is only 18 months old and very busy. Amber was amazing with her and, because she has a Doberman, she really understands the breed. She bathed our dog twice even though we didn't ask. She allowed her to sleep on the bed with her and May. We will use Amber again and hopefully have play dates with May! Thank you so much for taking care of our Lyla.”

“We had a great experience leaving Bowski with Jennifer and her family for the week. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and clearly cared about making sure he was comfortable and happy while I was away. They kept me updated with photos and messages, took the dogs on walks, hikes and treated him like part of the family. Their two labs were friendly and well behaved, and my dog came home completely happy, relaxed, and worn out from having such a good time. You can tell they genuinely love dogs and take pet care seriously. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing he was in a safe, caring home instead of just being kenneled somewhere. I’m very grateful for how well they treated him and would absolutely trust them again in the future. Highly recommend.”

“Excellent dog sitter! My dog stayed at her house and received wonderful care. Great communication, updates, and a welcoming environment. I would happily use her services again.”

“Katherine took my new puppy Skye at last minute notice, as we had a last minute trip. She was great with Skye and kept me updated with videos regularly. I would definitely use her again, and recommend her highly!!!”

“Lyndi was absolutely wonderful to our special needs Havanese dog. He liked staying over there! We are grateful to have found her! We will definitely use her services again in the future.”

“Jessica took a great care of my dog Luna when we were on vacation. A multiple times a day she informed us how Luna is doing, her eating, sleeping and etc. She sent a lot of photos, where we could see how Luna enjoyed her stay; walking, playing, cuddling with Jessica and her family. The most importantly Luna did not show any stress or change in habits after she returned home. We definitely will recommend Jessica.”

“Mayne and her family took great care of my pup. Communication was quick and easy and we got lots of pictures! It was clear from those pictures that our dog felt at home with Mayne and her family. She was loved and cared for 100% during her stay. Can't recommend Mayne more, and we will definitely become one of her regulars!”

“Beth was absolutely incredible. She sent countless videos for us to watch when we would get spots of service and took such amazing care of Shasta. Shasta got a little sick while she was there and Beth was so communicative and wonderful. She took Shasta on so many walks and runs! Best sitting service we have ever had and we are so grateful.”

“Curtis & Jennifer were the best people we could have picked to watch Ernie. He loved his stay - the other dogs (especially Clover), the love, the outdoors (learning to use a doggie door) - we are so grateful and will leave him with them next time we are in SLC!”

“Matti was wonderful with my two fur babies. Sent updates and pictures every day. As a lover of my babies and had the common worry of thinking my babies were thinking I abandoned them I really appreciate her reassurance towards me! I will definitely book again! Thank you Matti”

I can’t recommend Charity enough! We had to leave our goldendoodle, Buddy, with a new sitter for five nights, and I was definitely a little nervous since it was our first time leaving him with someone new for that long. She completely exceeded every expectation. From day one, she kept us updated with the sweetest photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was obvious Buddy was being genuinely loved, getting plenty of exercise, and having the best time playing with the other dogs. Seeing how happy and comfortable he was made it so much easier to enjoy our trip. She’s incredibly professional, flexible, communicative, and so easy to work with. We were so impressed that we already booked her again for our next trip before we even picked Buddy up! If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, I highly, highly, highly recommend her. Buddy can’t wait to go back!

Heather accommodated our dog on short notice during a family emergency, and we couldn't be more grateful. She took exceptional care of our dog, including administering her medication multiple times throughout the day. Her kindness, flexibility, and attentiveness gave us tremendous peace of mind during a very difficult time. We highly recommend Heather and would gladly trust her with our pet again.

Seini took very good care of our 16 month old Quinn. Quinn Loved running around in the large fenced yard. Seini has a lot of experience taking care of dogs, and that made me feel comfortable about leaving our Quinn with her. Will definitely use Seini in the future.

Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
