“Anna and Stephen were fantastic. Communication was great, they sent lots of photos, our home was left in perfect condition, and most importantly our dogs were clearly happy and well loved. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.”

“Trevor was fantastic! He made me feel at ease by sending pictures and video updates. He took great care of both my dogs and spent a lot of time with them. My senior dog who is very shy and cautious with new people even cuddled next to him by the end of his stay. Thanks again Trevor!”

“Kirk was Awesome! He showed up on time, handled my hyper Golden Retriever Great! Walked them every day, and sent photos too! My house was exactly as I left it. Highly recommend.”
“Bailey was absolutely wonderful! She took excellent care of both my dog and cat, and gave them so much love and attention. I came home to happy pets and a spotless house, which gave me such peace of mind while I was away. Bailey was reliable, thoughtful, and kept me updated with pictures and messages. (She even helped me on short notice!) I could not have asked for a better sitter and will definitely book with her again. Highly recommend Bailey to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pets and home!”

“Meisha is always so wonderful with our dog and cat, and always sends such detailed updates with pictures. We love having her over to watch our fur babies! Couldn’t recommend her enough 🙂”

“Brianne sat for me last minute and took great care of my two dogs - a GSD and toy maltipoo. She was easy to coordinate with and sent photos and updates regularly which I appreciated! I'd happily rebook her.”

“Maryna and her husband were amazing!!! They came by for a meet and greet before house sitting our pup and cat for 3 days, and took such great care to get to know them and their routine. Maryna also sent lots of updates and photos throughout their stay (which I really appreciated as someone who gets anxious leaving our little guys behind). They even took the time to take out the trash and do dishes before leaving. We will definitely be asking Maryna to pet sit for us again 😊”

“Donald is as solid of a dog sitter as you can get! We have never felt more comfortable leaving our gal with a sitter as we do with Donald. Iza absolutely loves him and his dogs.”

“Michelle was an amazing pet sitter for our cat. We had her stay at our home and keep our cat company for a week while we were on vacation. Our cat, who can be wary of strangers, immediately took to her. She was very communicative and frequently sent us update about our kitty, which was nice since it was our first time away from her. She also took care of our place while we were away. 10/10 We would definitely use her service again.”

“Christina did a fantastic job watching Hank and Milo. She followed my instructions to a tee and I came back to a spotless house and very happy pups. I would definitely hire her again.”

“Anna is delightful and we are so glad to have found her. Our dogs were comfortable with her immediately She is responsible and a great communicator. She left our home in great shape- above and beyond Definitely 5 stars!”

“Alaina was a dream come true as a dog and house sitter!! She sent updates every day, multiple times a day, about meals, sleep patterns and activities throughout the day. She brought the dogs pup cups the first day to help ease the introductions, which was so thoughtful! She followed all of our instructions and was so kind to our little fur babies! We came home to a clean home, washed sheets (what!?) and happy pups. We are so thrilled to have Alaina as our future sitter!”

“Emily went over and beyond our expectations with our Remington. Updates and pictures throughout the weekend. Remington bonded with Emily very quickly and even slept with Emily! Would use her again for sure. Emily sent us a bonus surprise. A computation of all the pictures she took of our baby. Brought tears to me eyes as my girl is greying and I now have a beautiful video of her. Thank you Emily!!”

“I'm so happy I chose Steven to look after Olaf while I was away—it was the best decision. He was on point with Olaf's medicine and ensured he was more than just fed and walked. The daily photos kept me connected and reassured that Olaf was enjoying his own little vacation. Came back to a very cheerful dog, which says it all. The house was just as clean as when I left. Really glad I went with Steven, much better than boarding. Highly recommend!”

“Kelly was the best dog and house sitter that my wife and I could have imagined. She kept us updated every day with multiple notes, photos and videos of all of our furry family members - we never felt stressed that there were any major problems, and her questions were always timely and very helpful. On arrival home, the house was in great shape and everyone in our family was happy and healthy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would highly recommend Kelly for any type of Rover pet care and we (and all of our animals) look forward to her coming back over in the near future!”

About: Ive worked with dogs, cat, cows, camels, ducks, sheep, buffalo, and more! I love animals and spending time with them and would love to love on yours! About: I am an experienced, caring, and responsible dog walker and dog lover! I grew up with golden retrievers and have dog sat and walked a variety of dogs over the past 12 years. These dogs include a red heeler, a border collie mix, a pitbull mix, a poodle, a dachshund, and plenty of Labrador retrievers and goldens (my favorite). I have experience with anxious dogs, special needs and senior dogs, as well as puppies and high energy dogs who require a lot of exercise. I am happy to provide references! I work remotely and have availability on many weekdays midday or in the afternoon. I am willing to come to your home to pick your dog up for walks or hikes. I am very active and love walking, running, hiking, biking, and playing frisbee and fetch. I look forward to hearing from you! I work remotely in Sandy, Utah, so I have availability for weekday midday or afternoon drop in visits and or walks, and some weekend availability. I care for any pet as if it were my own and am perceptive and thoughtful with my care. I think past clients would describe me as reliable and communicative.
Sandy City pet parents share their Rover experiences
Maryna was terrific! Very proactive with communication pre-stay, with lots of updates and photos/videos of our golden retriever playing and living his best life on walks. Maryna stayed at our home to keep Taco company. When she left, she left the house in better shape than when we departed for our 4-day trip. When we returned, Taco didn't seem to miss us, which made us happy because he was clearly well-taken-care of by Maryna :) I cannot recommend her more highly. She was a wonderful guardian for our boy.

This was our second time having Michelle house and dog sit, and she was just as great the second time around. She was super communicative, sent lots of updates and pictures, and left the house clean. Most importantly, Maya seemed comfortable and well taken care of. Thanks, Michelle!

I did not provide proper instructions; I forgot to ask Kara to scoop the litter as well as feed my cat. So, that was my mistake. But Kara made sure that my cat was fed twice a day per my instructions. I appreciate her taking the time during the holiday to feed Tardis!

Hannah left our house nice and clean and our dog happy. She was easy to communicate with, flexible, and professional. She gave detailed updates and sent photos and a video. Our dog is very anxious, so seeing her happy and playing was awesome. Definitely will book again!

Savanna stayed with Fritz at our home for 9 days and we came home to a happy, relaxed pup. Savanna took such great care of him and our home, which gave us such a peace of mind while away. She also over communicated, which was welcome as a psycho dog mom. 😅😂

I had to travel out of town for a last-minute family emergency, and April was able to house sit for me and watch my pup Rune. She was so good with her, gave her tons of exercise and sent me frequent updates/photos. I would gladly recommend April for any dog sitting needs!

Chloe is such an amazing petsitter. I can’t say enough good things about the stellar job she does with all my animals. I never have to worry about what’s going on since she is so communicative from the very start, letting me know when she gets there, and staying in touch the whole time with text updates and pics/videos. She even went over and above to replace a scooper that had broken when it definitely wasn’t expected. She really takes the time with my animals and gets to know their personalities and also pays attention to anything I might need to be aware of with their physical health. I hope she continues to petsit for Rover forever because I can’t imagine booking with anyone else :)

Olivia left the house tidy and was good about sending pics of the pups. However, she was late showing up for the appointed start time and failed to communicate she was running late which caused anxiety on my part because we were going out of the country for 2 weeks. The dogs seemed to be well cared for in our absence. Overall, Olivia did a good job tending the dogs over the holidays, but could improve her communication skills a bit.
