“Trevor is a great sitter, both of my dogs enjoyed having him around. He shows a lot of love and care for my dogs. I appreciate how he can work with my schedule. Highly recommend.”

“I just had experience with Katie who stayed at the house and watched the pups! She is great and absolutely no complaints and the pups enjoyed her as well. Definitely recommend!!”

“Aubreeana has been wonderful to work with! It has given us peace of mind knowing she has been there with our dog poppy. She was great at following the schedule and expectations we discussed! Would definitely book again!”

“Michelle was great! She watched our dog and cat while we were away for the weekend. She was super responsive and prompt and sent a ton of pictures. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Emily has been our resident dog sitter for our 4 year old doodle for probably the last year, but we recently got a 3 month old puppy and Emily took it on no problem and like a pro! She came over to meet our new one ahead of time, followed all of our instructions and timelines for a puppy, handled any messes that there might have been, and provided us with tons of updates. We've also felt so comfortable leaving our older dog with her, but leaving a puppy for the first time is hard no matter what, but per usual, the dogs were in perfect hands! Thank you, ALWAYS!”

“Enthusiastic and attentive with our doggo, Max! Went out of his way to set up playdates with his own dogs while we were gone and was great with sending updates and pictures 😊 Highly recommend.”

“Great communication. Was very flexible and accommodated our confusing work schedule and frequent schedule shifts. Dog seem relaxed and well fed. This is the first time my dog hasn't destroyed things in my home in a while. Would recommend sitter.”

“Zoe was prompt, communicative, respectful, and an all around great caretaker of our fur babies and our home - we definitely hope to get Zoe’s help again the next time we travel!”

“Anna is delightful and we are so glad to have found her. Our dogs were comfortable with her immediately She is responsible and a great communicator. She left our home in great shape- above and beyond Definitely 5 stars!”

About: I've been caring for dogs for over 15 years. In the last 10 years I have been fostering retired racing grey hounds and huskies so I'm ready to give every dog in between the care and attention they deserve. I have regularly watched friends and families animals since I was young and am excited to get back into it. Please let me be your peace of mind the next time you're out of town! I'm currently working full-time from 2pm to 10pm M-F in Draper. I would be available during the day to check in with your bestie and would be happy to do so! I prefer to keep my bookings small and progressive to ensure I give each dog my full attention to keep them safe and happy. This means that I prefer walking in quiet neighborhoods with reliable sidewalks instead of a park with more distractions so I can get familiar with your dog's responses, and they can get familiar with me, during our first few walks together. Even while I worked as a mail lady for USPS, I still won over the dogs and cats on my route.
“Betty is amazing with my dog, Hershey. She does a recap of the day every day with pictures included. She she has done the laundry and left the house cleaner than when I left. I would 100% use her every time.”

“Jolie was easy to schedule with, super responsive, and took great care of my pups. She was extremely thorough in making sure she understood their needs, sent me lots of pics, and left the house very clean! Highly recommend.”

“We are so happy with Lena! Lena was always quick to respond and always stayed in touch with updates! Our pup Maizie was so settled when we returned home so we knew she must not have felt stressed during our time away which of course is such a relief! We will not hesitate to reach out to Lena the next time we need a sitter!”

About: I have owned a wide variety of animals ranging from rodents to reptiles. Training animals is a passion of mine, I have been training my dog since he was 10 weeks old and I even trained my first ever pets which were rats. I used to puppy sit a lot and would also cat sit when my neighbors went out of town. I own 3 cats and just love getting to know each animals unique personalities. I also fostered cats & kittens for a while and have a lot of experience administering medications to them. I'm currently working part time in a pet store and i'm hoping to switch over and make this my full time job. Caring for animals is so rewarding and my favorite part of working in a pet store. Currently I will just have to work around my work schedule to care for animals but I hope it will soon become a full time gig and I will be available anytime. I have 1 dog and 3 cats, my cats free roam but my dog is kennel trained. If I were to watch a dog in my home I would need the dog to be kennel trained so we can have a steady transition. If I were to watch any cats in my home I can either keep them separated from my cats or do a slow introduction (Which I do have experience doing) whichever the client prefers. And If I were to watch animals in the clients home I would do my best to complete any request they have, for example having 15 minutes of uninterrupted play time.
About: Hello my name is Lauri, I have 1 dog of my own. Taking care of pets is my favorite thing to do. I take time to understand each pet. I walk them frequently. I play with them. With my dog when the get sick I clean after them. Make sure they behave. I can also teach the dogs to sit. I usually take them to the dog park if allowed by owners. If need I also bathe them. If they have special diet or feeding I follow them. If you bring them to my house I have a dog park in my apartment. My dog love playing with another dogs they are friendly and they play nice with another’s. Taking care of pets makes my day. while taking care of dogs, I work from home which gives me the freedom to walk the dogs as much as they need to go potty, I also have a dog park, that I can take them so they can play I have big living room space with lots of toys. I also have community dog park if approved by owner if I am able to take them.
“Michelle was an absolute DREAM to have watch Chester. The updates she would give were so descriptive and playful. She really went the extra mile to make sure our dog had the best experience possible and that we were not stressed at all about leaving him in her hands. She was incredibly kind and considerate to all our needs and was very communicative. We would absolutely book her again and look forward to doing so!”

“We couldn’t have been happier with Laynee! She watched our two beloved one-year-old cats for a full week and went above and beyond every single day. She sent photos morning and night. When we came home, the litter box and the entire space were spotless — you would never know we’d been gone. Our cats looked relaxed, well-cared-for and loved. We were extremely impressed and are so grateful for her care. Highly recommend Laynee!”

Alta Vista pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ashlie and Tyson have been amazing with our dog, Gia. They’ve cared for her during overnight/house-sitting weekends and daytime walks, and we always feel completely at ease knowing she’s with them. Gia can be a timid and sensitive dog, but they’ve been so patient, attentive, and loving with her. We always receive thoughtful updates, detailed messages, and the best photos that show how happy and comfortable she is in their care. They’ve also been incredibly respectful of our home and go above and beyond. Every time we return, Gia is relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. We feel so lucky to have found Ashlie and Tyson and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring sitters. They treat Gia like one of their own, and that means everything to us. ❤️🐾

Elizabeth was great with my dog Beans. I can’t always take her with me because she can be aggressive towards other dogs and Elizabeth did great at making sure beans was well taken care of and walked despite her issue. She sent pictures and updates everyday and was very kind and easy to work with!

Meisha did an amazing job watching Pongo! Her communication was 10/10, which gave me so much peace of mind, especially since we were going to be out of service for a few days. We came home to a clean house and a calm, happy dog. She provided lots of updates and was very respectful of Pongo’s initial uncertainty, giving him the space and time to warm up to her at his own pace.

Rachel was communicative from first message through a long house sit. She sent daily photos, took great care of our pups and our house while we were away. I would definitely recommend her and hope we able to utilize her services again in the future. We felt lucky to have her while we were away.

Eyslee did an amazing job taking care of our pets this week! She provided regular updates and sent plenty of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dog and cat looked so happy and comfy with her. We’ll definitely be reaching out to Eyslee again in the future!

Kaitlyn watched Coco and Charlie and I’m honestly someone who doesn’t trust people easily, especially when it comes to my dogs. Both of them need meds and have their own quirks, so it’s not simple. She handled everything so well. I didn’t have to worry or check in constantly, which says a lot for me. They were calm, cared for, and clearly comfortable with her. You can tell she actually pays attention and cares, not just going through the motions. I’d have her watch them again without hesitation!
