“I cannot recommend Stacey enough! I was leaving my good boy for the first time and they made me feel so confident that I was leaving him in safe and, more importantly, caring hands. I appreciated the regular photo/video updates cause I could see that Chuck was truly happy and comfortable. I will for sure trust Stacey with Chuck or any other pup any day! Thank you, Stacey!”

“Nancy has watched my dog a couple times now. She has taken good care of him. She and her family are loving and kind. My dog seems happy when we’ve picked him up from their house. I will book with her again.”

“Katherine cared for Sammi as if she were her own. She is extremely professional, responsible, and caring. She provided very personalized care, was easy to reach and gave multiple updates during Sammi's visit. We will be back!!”

“We absolutely loved having our dog stay with them! They are truly one of the best sitters we’ve ever had. They took such great care of Suki, kept us updated, and treated her like family. We felt completely at ease the whole time. Highly recommend! We will definitely book with them again!”

“Genny and her family were great care takers for our Bentley. She sent pictures and video several times a day and was very communicative and responsive while we were gone. Genny took Bentley for regular walks and has a very friendly dog that allowed them to play in get out there puppy energy on a regular basis. It was a great experience considering this was our first time using Rover and would recommend Genny to any one looking for a good pet sitter and to ensure that their animals are well taken care of and loved while gone.”

“Lindsey sent me pictures everyday letting me know my doggo was safe and happy. I almost questioned how much Quinn wanted to come home. I'd have to say that takes alot with how spoiled she is at home. Thanks Lindsey for being a great sitter for Quinn!”

“My dog is always so calm when I get her, I think is a great sign because she's normally has a lot of anxiety. One of the main reasons why I keep going back to Sydney is because she she only takes a few little dogs at a time.”

“Phebe had an amazing (18 night!) stay with Heather and her family. They provided lots of updates and I was able to enjoy my time away knowing Phebe was in good hands. Thank you!”

“🐾 🐾 So happy with Elizabeth and her wonderful family! They took amazing care of our dog, Banksy, while we were on vacation. From the moment we dropped him off, we knew he was in great hands. Elizabeth kept us updated throughout our trip with sweet messages and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. Banksy looked so happy and relaxed—we could tell he was treated like one of their own. Their home is warm, welcoming, and clearly pet-friendly. We’re incredibly grateful for their kindness and care, and we’d definitely contact them again in the future. Highly recommended! 🐾🐾”

“Stefany was awesome. My dog Harley loved it. I appreciated the fun and at random times, photos of him playing. I would totally use her again of she let us. Thanks Stefany.”
“I can tell Fitz had a great time. He's a high energy dog who can act out if he's pent up, but he was great when we came back home. He was even tired after our usual walk, so I know he had all the play time he needed with Logan.”

Marylynn was an amazing Rover from start to finish. She was very friendly, responsive, and offered a meet and greet. During my dog’s stay she was very proactive with updates, photos, and even videos. Multiple walks a day accommodating the summer heat. Giles also had daily enrichment with her dogs, treats, and toys. Highly recommend!

Justine was amazing. This was our first time boarding with her and her family. They have a cute family that was a perfect fit for our malshipoo. We had an out of country vacation and we didn’t worry at all about leaving our dog with them. We received daily updates and they are so friendly and easy to communicate with. We will definitely book with them again!

Thank you so much! This was our first time leaving our dog at a boarding camp, so we were very nervous. Your videos and updates really helped us feel at ease. Our dog had an amazing time at your camp, and we could enjoy our trip to Yellowstone with peace of mind knowing that he was in great hands. Thank you for your care, attention, and kindness. We truly appreciate everything you did and would highly recommend you to others!

Sharaden was AMAZING and exactly the sitter we needed on somewhat short notice! Our dog is a senior pup who requires a peaceful home and attentive care, so we are a little particular about who we leave her with. To help us feel completely comfortable, Sharaden went out of her way to host a Meet & Greet beforehand! Sharaden and her husband are incredibly kind people, and we quickly felt at ease leaving our senior dog in their care. Their home is in a lovely, peaceful area that didn’t feel too busy, and it happened to be in the perfect location on our way to the airport! They have a beautiful, spacious yard and were more than willing to accommodate our dog's daily supplement routine. Plus, they sent a couple of photos every day, which gave us total peace of mind seeing that our sweet dog was in such good hands. We highly recommend them!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
