About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and truly can’t imagine a home without them. I got my first dog, a golden retriever, when I was ten years old, and I’ve had dogs consistently ever since. Caring for animals has always been part of my everyday life, not just a side hobby. I currently have two dogs of my own, Bruce and Fiona, and they’ve taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and reading an animal’s needs. From daily walks and feeding schedules to medications, routines, and emotional comfort, I’m very hands-on and attentive with their care. Beyond my own pets, I regularly help friends by watching their dogs and cats when they travel or need extra support. This has included overnight stays, drop-in visits, extended care, and stepping in on short notice when plans change. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m calm, observant, and respectful of each pet’s personality and routine. Whether your pet is high-energy, shy, senior, or somewhere in between, I aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat your pets the same way I treat my own, with patience, affection, and attention to detail. I’m currently an uber driver and I have plenty of spare time to step in and care for your pets as if they were my own. I have a husband who helps with my dogs at home while I’m away. When caring for pets in their home, I follow the routine and instructions provided as closely as possible. I know consistency is important for pets, especially when their owners are away, so I stick to feeding schedules, walk times, medications, and any household rules you’ve set. I’m respectful of your home and treat it the same way I treat my own. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are secured, keep pets away from anything unsafe, and clean up after meals, walks, and litter boxes. I always do a quick check of the home before leaving to make sure everything is safe and in order. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and energy level so I can adjust care as needed. If anything seems off or out of the ordinary, I communicate right away. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable and for you to feel confident that your home and pet are in good hands.
“From the very beginning, Morgan was extremely accommodating and showed how passionate she truly is for animals. At the meet and greet, she made my reactive dog, very comfortable and for me, it felt like I was catching up with an old friend. She was extremely patient and stayed until she truly understood my dog’s behavior. I left town for a couple days and Morgan walked my dog multiple times each day while incorporating some fun stimulating activities for him. She was extremely communicative and sent photos regularly. Even when I couldn’t get to my phone right away, she stayed on top of things and kept my pup very happy. Morgan is incredibly knowledgeable in dogs behaviors, which was very comforting for me. In the short time I’ve known her, she’s taught me new things and given me some fun tips and tricks. Morgan is very flexible and goes above and beyond to give her best care. I’m so happy I found her and I plan to have her care for my boy in the future.”

“Veronica is amazing. Excellent communication! My Daisy loved her and she treated her like she was her own. I will always reach out to Veronica should I need any walks in the future. This was my first experience with Rover and she did not disappoint!!!”

Michelle was simply excellent, the best I’ve used on Rover. She was reliable, punctual, and sent multiple pictures plus a map of where she walked and what he did on the walk. I used her to take my dog for his midday walk while I was skiing. When I felt my phone vibrate at our agreed upon time each day I knew he was being taken care of!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
