“Kelly is communicative, accommodating, and our fur babies love her! She always reaches out with questions or concerns if they should ever arise and that puts our mind at ease. We love and would recommend Kelly to anyone!”

“Diane had excellent communication throughout the booking and made sure to give plenty of updates and pictures of my pups. My dogs were very well taken care of and I was completely at ease having Diane over their care! Highly recommended and will be booking again when the needs arise! Thank you!!!”

About: 🐾 Reliable, active, and personalized care for your pup! Whether your dog loves long adventures or prefers a slower-paced stroll, I’ll tailor every walk and stay to their unique personality and energy level. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. As the owner of a friendly 1-year-old Golden Retriever, I’m experienced with energetic puppies, adolescent dogs, and breeds that need plenty of physical and mental enrichment. I’m comfortable reinforcing basic training, maintaining routines, and providing lots of play, exercise, and affection. For boarding, I require a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone and to help your dog feel comfortable before their stay. I have a flexible job so can take time where needed to provide the best care for your dog. I love the outdoors and will always make time for dogs. I care for pet’s the same way that I would treat my own: with love, care and enthusiasm. I am a very active person and love to be active with pets and enjoy the outdoors with them.
About: My wife and I both adore dogs and recently got a dog of our own that we have worked hard to train and take pride in her behavior. I currently work from home and my wife only works 3 days a week so we have plenty of hands on time to spend with your dog and tend to all their needs. We have a fenced in yard with a doggy door and have a sweet dog who would love to keep yours entertained and happy. We crate our dog and are happy to do the same for you but can be flexible depending on your dogs needs.
About: I've owned and cared for cats and dogs my whole life. I have always had a soft spot for all animals and consider them the purest souls on earth. I believe we each have an individual responsibility to provide the best environment and stimulation for the creatures in our care as we are lucky to be stewards over them for their time with us. It is important to me to provide a fully pet-safe sanitized, comfortable, safe environment for every cat that stays in my hotel. I can't wait to get to know and spend time with your little loves! I am a stay at home mom who is available round the clock to care for your furry best friend! Cat Boarding is my specialty but I have also owned dogs my whole life, both big and small and am ready to play with and walk your pup! I am available for my kitty clients around the clock. I check in on them frequently throughout the day and send pictures and videos daily. Each kitty receives mental stimulation and individual play time (if wanted by them of course) as well as one hour a day of kitty tv. When out on adventures with my dog-walking clients, we will explore different places, spend time sniffing and getting mental stimulation, and end each adventure with some play and snuggles.

“Robin is truly exceptional. We had our meet and greet setup within 24 hours to meet our baby. She has been super dependable and trustworthy throughout the entire process. What stands out the most is how attentive she is to the animals she cares for.”

About: I have 10+ years of experience taking care of dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and birds. I took a few college courses that were 2 years long to learn about animal care. I also worked at a reptile education center where I took care of the animals and educated people about them. I love animals of all kinds and would love to watch your pet! I have lots of time in the day to watch and play with your pet. I do have a cat at home so I do have to go check on him every 3-4 hours! I will follow your schedule to a T to make sure your pet doesn’t skip out on their daily routine. I have experience taking care of even shy animals so I have lots of patience and am willing to let them take their time to adjust to me. I am ok going on walks in neighborhoods and parks as well as playing with your pet in such areas.
“Christian is a great caregiver. He showed up early and spent a good time walking our pup. She has leash reactivity and can be difficult to walk sometimes. We wouldn't trust her to just anyone! We would hire Christian anytime - highly recommended.”

“Afia was wonderful with Ginger today. She was incredibly thorough, patient, and took the time to work with her at Ginger’s pace, which I really appreciated. Ginger can be a high-energy dog, and it’s clear Afia understands how to handle that in a calm, positive way. I left feeling confident that Ginger was in great hands, and I’m so happy we’ve found her. Highly recommend!”

About: I used to worked with dogs at a recreation center (daycare and swimming). I also still regularly do in home dog sitting through that business. I have knowledge of dog behavior and am not scared of any breed. I regularly dog/cat sit for clients in their home. I also live with pets of my own, so I am constantly surrounded my animals. I spend as much quality time with pets as I can, by doing things like walking, petting, and doing other activities. I have a lot of fun dog sitting/walking, although, I am not scared to tell a dog/cat “No” if they are misbehaving.

Rachel is amazing! This was my dog’s first time walking with someone other than myself and my husband. Rachel was very passionate about making sure our little guy was comfortable and safe. The communication was prompt and clear. I was nervous as a new puppy parent. However, once I met Rachel, all of my worries melted away. I can not recommend Rachel enough! I’m looking forward to booking Rachel again in the future. Thank you for everything!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
