“Katherine was really nice and wonderful to our 5 month old Rubie. She was able to helped her and gave me some advise since Rubie is our first family dog. She even gave Rubie a bath! I highly recommend her and would book her again. Thank you Katherine!”

“Nancy is the best! She and her kids took such wonderful care of my senior dog. She sent lots of photos and I could tell that Lucy had a wonderful time staying with her. She was very quick with communication too! My dog had such a good time she hardly wanted to leave lol. Will definitely be booking again in the future. Thank you!”

“Julie and her family were absolutely perfect with Maple! My pup was living her best life and looked so happy in all the pictures and videos that were sent through. We will use Julie’s services again!”

“Scharee took fantastic care of my dog! It was great knowing that he was under the care of a kind, loving person while I was away. He sat longingly by the front door of my house, looking for her after we got home. I would absolutely recommend her, and look forward to using her again.”

“Seini was so lovely to do business with! We have used her services twice now. Our dog was SO well cared for (AND LOVED!!) while we were on vacation. She was extremely attentive taking her to the park to fetch the ball most every day. She gives frequent updates and is a reassuring calm presence I trust her.”

“Kathy is our best Rover by far and we have used many across our travels nationwide. She is kind and a good communicator. She knew I was a little nervous as our Kona is getting older ,and she made me feel comfortable and secure that she would be well taken care of. Kathy is a very specific person. We love her??”
“My dogs had so much fun staying with Silvana! She sent so many pictures and videos and updates everyday and it was clear that they didn’t miss us at all and were having the time of their lives there. I will definitely bring them back when we leave town again!”

“Nancy did such a wonderful job taking care of Stella. Helping her feel “at home” by ensuring she had her toy, bed and kennel that was familiar to her. And socialized Stella with her other “pups”. Look forward to having Nancy take care of Stella again!”

“We dropped Elouise and Miba off for a weekend while we went to Moab! They had so much fun and are so tired from a weekend of playing. Absolutely recommend Owen and Kelly for anyone in the area looking for a great dog sitter.”

“I booked last minute and they were available, had great communication, and worked with me as plans changed and I got back late. Absolutely would have them watch my pup again!”

“This is our 2nd booking with heather and our family is very happy with her services, heather is very good and reliable, responds within a timely manner and provides updates. Will be rebooking again.”

“Our puppy had a great time with Lyndi! She really eased our fears, as this was our first time boarding. Updates with pictures everyday allowed us to enjoy an extended weekend away without worrying about our fur baby! We will most definitely be boarding with Lyndi again!”

“Meisha and Dani were wonderful! We were first time Rover users and needed to board our pup for 4 days. They made the process so smooth and we were immediately comfortable with them. Not to mention how absolutely great they were with our pup during his stay. They sent multiple updates and pics throughout the day and he clearly had an awesome time. He’s hard to wear out and he was asleep immediately in our car upon pickup! We will definitely be asking them to watch him again!!”

“Brent and Liza were so great!! They took such great care of our puppy. It was our first time leaving him with someone other than family, but they were amazing and we would definitely book with them in the future! They sent multiple updates and photos throughout the day and Alfie had the best time with their dog, Buck. Would recommend them over and over again!!”

Krista and Ryan were absolutely incredible. Taking on 2 Great Danes is no small ask, but they embraced them full on and my dogs were so happy to spend a long weekend with them! At one point (with permission) they even gave the boys an ice cream on a super hot day! Would 100% recommend them if you want peace of mind while you’re out of town!

We’ve left our dog with multiple River sitters and Jennifer has been BY FAR the best! So many pictures, lots of dog walks and yummy treats for my dog. I felt like she was treating my pup just like she would treat her own dog-he was spoiled and loved on the whole time we were gone. We are absolutely going to be repeat customers!

Sara and her husband were fantastic! They came through after I’d had a last-minute cancellation, and my pup had the best time with them And their dog, Maple. Sara was very communicative providing great updates and sharing cute pictures. I would highly recommend!

Sophie had a hard time with anxiety during her stay (nothing new for her) and Curtis kept us informed of how she was doing several times a day. They even went to our vet and picked up a refill of a prescription for her to help with anxiety. She seemed to settle in by the end of her stay and appears to have been well cared for! Whenever she stays at typical boarding place she looses a ton weight from stress but she didn’t have that problem while staying with Curtis! Thanks for caring for our anxious old lady!

Oh my gosh ABOVE AND BEYOND! My dog and I never really been apart. I was so nervous and worried about being gone for a week. My son suggested I try Rover and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Natalee was incredible. Daily off-leash hikes with water sources for splashing. A group of dog buddies to romp and nap with. A house basically set up for dogs. Her careful eyes and ears on everything 24/7. She sent videos every day, and even made a beautiful music video of all the dogs running and playing. I was quickly at ease with leaving him and so grateful to have found her. Now I know I can travel guilt free and at peace. Thank you Natalie! ❤️

You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
