“Camille was wonderful! I felt completely at ease the entire time we were gone knowing she was taking care of our cat, Marvin. I look forward to using her again!”

“Alecia has been such a life saver for helping with my 5 month old puppy since I work full time. She takes such good care of him and is great about communicating any concerns she has and giving me thorough updates throughout the visits”

“Needed last minute help with potty break coverage while at work and Adam was great! Followed my super long (and likely overwhelming) instructions and my doggies were grateful for the visit!”

“Jaina took wonderful care of our three cats while we were away for a little over a week. She did a great job of coaxing our shyer cats out. I wouldn't hesitate to book with her or recommend her again!”

“Whitney was amazing! She watched our bunny while we were out of town for a week, and he was so well cared for. I appreciate how thorough and caring she is, and I’ll absolutely be booking with her again. I highly recommend booking with her!”

“Audreylee & Austin are amazing, second time having them back. Our cat warmed up to them immediately, and they are dependable and great people. Will definitely use again. Thank you!!!”

“Mabel has been fantastic with our two high energy pups! She sends us tons of pictures and the pups are always happily sleeping in their crates after she leaves.”

“Rachel was the absolute best! Our first time needing this service and she came through providing the loving care our Cooper needed. Can’t begin to thank her enough! Truly a find. We would recommend and use her again if she isn’t booked up 😀 Thank you Rachel”

“Meisha has watched Zion (black lab) and Moose (cat) a number of times and has been incredible each and every time! She sends lots of pictures and updates, which I really appreciate as someone who has trouble leaving my fur babies behind for a trip. This most recent visit, I reached out last minute because my pup had been stung by a bee and I had to go into work that night. I wasn’t comfortable leaving her alone for my entire shift and all of my friends were out of town for the holiday weekend and unavailable. Meisha was so kind and came by a few times throughout the night to hang out with Zion and Moose. The absolute kindest and best sitter to work with! Really couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“Steven was great!!! He is great at communicating and responds super fast. He was amazing with our dog, and gave great photos and updates in our rover card. Can’t wait to book with him again! Thank you so much for watching our dog!!”

About: I have always been an avid animal lover and advocate. I have spent over ten years caring, volunteering, and fostering animals of all ages and breed. From a young age, I’ve had an unyielding passion for animal care, driven by a profound love for our furry friends and a commitment to their well-being. My journey began with growing up alongside cats and dogs, which sparked a lifelong dedication to understanding and meeting the needs of animals. Over the past 6 years, I’ve further honed my skills as a dedicated foster caregiver for dogs and cats, navigating their diverse needs with compassion and expertise. My experience has deepened my appreciation for the unique personalities and requirements of each pet. Whether it’s ensuring a comfortable environment, providing enriching activities, or addressing specific health needs, I approach every pet sitting opportunity with a blend of empathy, patience, and meticulous attention. My goal is to create a safe and loving experience for your pets, reflecting my genuine passion for their care and happiness. I work from home full time, but would love to have my my morning, afternoon, or lunch break be to check in or walk a furry friend. I have a leash or can use yours provided. I am very cautious when entering and exiting homes and making sure everyone is safe and secure.

“Stevie was great! First of all, she was super responsive with messages which was incredibly appreciated with a last minute need. She took great care of my girls and sent lots of updates and photos, even refilling their water bowls without being asked after a long fetch session on a hot day :) I will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Faith was absolutely amazing. As a neurotic pet parent with no supports in the area, I don’t know what I would do without her and the peace of mind I was able to have while I was away. Faith was great with communicating with me and went above and beyond during her visits. She’s also a great photographer and got some pictures that added major wellness points for me! Would 10/10 recommend!”

“Laynee was so great with our cat! It was our first time leaving him alone for more than 2 days and Laynee was very communicative and attentive. We came home to a happy and healthy kitty :)”

“After having trouble deciding what to do, we were blessed to find Sandi. This was our first time leaving our cat and we couldn't have found a better person to watch over her. Our cat tends to be shy and wants to stay away from people, but in the short time Sandi watched over her, our cat quickly got attached to Sandi. We loved all the pictures we got while we were away. Thank you for taking care of our little Sammy.”

“Lauren and Drew are awesome! They take such great care of our pup and make sure he is well stimulated with walks and play time during their visit. They are timely and give a great update about each visit. I would highly recommend!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Cottonwood Heights
Laynee did an amazing job with our 2 skittish and independent cats. She was able to connect and gain their trust after only 2 days, very unusual as they are hardly ever seen by strangers, and to see them asking for and getting tons of loves for the rest of the time was heartwarming. We have now added, ‘make sure Laynee is available for cat care’ to our list of to-do’s before any trip. Thanks again Laynee!!!

I came home from a week long trip to a very calm kitty. He gets really anxious and leaving town can be tricky. He liked Camille right away and this is the most calm I’ve seen him after a trip (even just weekend ones). I will definitely book with Camille again in the future. Thank you so, Camille!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
