Hi, I'm Alecia! I have always loved animals, and growing up, our family had more pet than people in our household. I learned early on how to care for many different types of animals, and neighbors and friends started to rely on me to help watch their pets. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds, chickens, guinea pigs, hamsters, bunnies, ferrets, you name it! Recently, I have mainly helped care for cats and dogs of all sizes and ages. I own a senior cat, and a 3 year old doberman. My senior cat is an adopted stray, who loves to sunbathe and take naps. I have cared for and trained my doberman from 8 weeks old. He struggles with anxiety, and needs lots of mental and physical stimulation, and overall attention, to help put him at ease. We love to go for our daily walks together, play ball, work on obedience, and cuddle on the couch together. Being a pet parent myself, I completely understand how difficult it can be to leave your pets in someone else's care. I hope I can ease people's minds by being there for people's pets, and loving them the way I love my own pets.

I have had experience taking dogs out in apartment settings, and also fenced in yards. I am happy to accommodate any pet's dietary needs. I know all pets have different needs and personalities, and I would love to play with them, or just sit and love on them depending on what they like. I have experience walking dogs from 6lbs to 100lbs. I walk my 85lb dog daily, and in my free time, I walk dogs at the animal shelter. I have had a lot of experience in different environments and situations, and with different temperaments and breeds.

This is the first time Alecia has watched our cat!!! What a gift she is. On time, thoughtful, goes the extra mile. Will continue to work with her as long as I can! She is awesome!

Alecia was amazing and our dog, Saka, loved her. She came over a few nights before and got know him beforehand. She also made sure to ask about what she should look out for on walks with him and how to properly reward him!
Alecia was so great! I felt so comfortable being gone with her caring for my pup and she did a great job updating me. :)

Schedule
Between June and August, I am pretty flexible with the time I can drop in or walk dogs. Between September and May, my availability decreases to evenings and some weekends.
