“Once again, Huibin exceeded our expectations when caring for Truffle! She did such an amazing job with lots of exercise, plenty of pictures. We couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommended!”

“Always fantastic!! Takes great care of our dog. Never worry about it dog when she is with Michelle. We know she is cared for and loved like she is part of their family.”

“This was my first time using Rover.com for boarding. I found Arius, read the reviews and still being a little nervous booked 6days/5nights. After meeting Arius, when dropping off my pet. I instantly felt I had made the right decision. I loved receiving the daily pictures of my pet and it should me that Arius took care of him just like one of his own. I’m glad I took the chance and booked with Arius. His prices were also not overpriced and I felt it was a good price for the care my pet received. I actually think my pet didn’t want to come home :) I would definitely book with Arius again. Thank you.”

“Jill and Mark are exceptional caretakers! They go out of their way to make your furry friend feel at home. I don't think I've seen our dog ever so calm as I have seen after they have watched her. Thank you Jill and Mark!”

“Adelaine has watched our dog several times now and we will continue to use her as often as she’s available for our trips. Our dogs seems to be comfortable and enjoys going there.”

“Sherry truly enjoys the pets she cares for and I am very grateful. Shadow was introduced to her small dogs and became one of the pack. I received wonderful photos while I was gone and I would recommend Sherry to anyone needing care.”

“Lyndi was amazing with our baby while we were gone. This was our first time using Rover and immediately felt comfortable reading her reviews and seeing she had repeat clients. She sent photos and updates daily and kept us up-to-date on his interactions with the other fur babies in the house. He was such a good boy and Lyndi was always excited for his presence. Will definitely be making this his second forever home while we are gone.”

“Leilani was absolutely the best to work with and watching our dog Gus. We threw a lot at her asking her to extend the days we needed her to puppy sit. On top of that our dog ended up having back surgery and she handled incredibly well. I would recommend Leilani for anyone that has a special needs dog. She is worth every penny and a whole lot more as a dog sitter. We wouldn’t want anyone else. Love her!!!”

“Nancy is the best! She and her kids took such wonderful care of my senior dog. She sent lots of photos and I could tell that Lucy had a wonderful time staying with her. She was very quick with communication too! My dog had such a good time she hardly wanted to leave lol. Will definitely be booking again in the future. Thank you!”

“So wonderful! Our girl was so happy with Kayla she didn’t even cry the first night away which she usually does!) Her two cats were sweet and seemed just fine with having a big dog hanging around them and she seemed to enjoy their company.”

“Jessica did a wonderful job! Theo seemed very happy and tired when I picked him up. She has a beautiful home and Theo seemed very comfortable right away. Theo played with her other animals and did well for his first overnight being watched without Mom. She had Theo ready to be picked up and with a fresh bath! We appreciate her taking such good care of Theo for his two night stay! Thank you Jessica!”

“Jennifer was a great sitter! She not only was able to accommodate a last minute request but took my girl on a hike and treated her like her own. Juniper had such a good time and was a very happy girl when I picked her up”

“Charity and Eric always take of our dogs as if they were their own. I have peace of mind every time we leave our dogs here and they provide many daily updates so we always know how our dogs are doing. I definitely recommend!”

“Sarah was absolutely wonderful! We had gotten a new puppy just a week before leaving on a week long vacation so we were really nervous about leaving our new puppy so soon, in another new environment. But Sarah was phenomenal! She provided regular updates on our little girl, and worked with her on potty training, and crate training, all while helping her socialize with other doggos and kitties! We've used a couple of other sitters through Rover and none of them come close to how great Sarah was! Will absolutely use her in the future and recommend to everyone!”

“Marylynn was great with Riza! She took her on several walks and sent me lots of updates. My dog had a blast at her house and was nice and tired when I brought her back home.”

“Kaylin was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, it felt like our pup was on a little doggy vacation. She has a wonderful fenced-in backyard and even a dog door so the dogs could run in and out as they pleased—pure freedom and joy! Communication was prompt and super friendly, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. What made it even more special is that her kids got involved too—they played with the dogs, keeping them active, happy, and loved like part of the family. It’s clear Kaylin truly cares about animals, and she’s created a safe, fun, and welcoming home for them. I can’t recommend her enough—your pup will be in the best hands! 🐾💛”

“Andrea is sweet and very responsible. She went above and beyond to make sure that our drop-off an pick-ups went smoothly when I boarded my dog at her place. My dog was immediately comfortable in her home. Couldn't ask for a better experience.”

He is excellent, a great person who was always communicative, sent me photos, and took very good care of my dog. I needed to extend the stay by a few days, and he was very understanding. I don't have a car at the moment, and he helped me out by dropping my dog off at my home. I will definitely use his services again and highly recommend him!

Winifred was absolutely wonderful with Luna! She was so kind, patient, and thoughtful, even taking the time to meet Luna beforehand since it was her first night away from home. She communicated so well and sent us frequent pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. Luna seemed completely comfortable and right at home with her. We are incredibly grateful for the love and care Winifred gave her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pet!

Great pet sitters! Very clean atmosphere for leaving my little pup, so I had no worries. Their pup Elsa was a very sweet girl also, knew that would help my pup from being alone.A+ Sitters, would highly recommend. Especially since they just take in one pet at a time to watch.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience! Our dog stayed for an entire week, and from the moment we dropped him off, we knew he was in the best hands. The communication was fantastic, and we loved getting updates and knowing he was happy, comfortable, and being so well cared for. He received lots of attention, love, and walks, and it was obvious that he was treated like part of the family and not just another dog being watched. Drop-off and pick-up were both incredibly easy and convenient, which made traveling so much less stressful. Being away from your dog for a full week can be hard, but having someone you completely trust makes all the difference. We were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying because we knew he was safe, loved, and getting plenty of exercise and attention. Truly one of the best dog-sitting experiences we’ve ever had. Reliable, caring, communicative, and wonderful with dogs. We will absolutely use them again and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for an amazing dog sitter. Five stars all the way! 🐾⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Scharee was fantastic! Archie had the best time and he came home happier than ever! Scharee was very accommodating and easy-going. She was very communicative as well and sent me updates throughout Archie’s stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a safe place for their pup!

Nancy and her family were wonderful with our 2 Beagles. It was such a relief knowing they were safe and cared for while we were gone. We will definitely be using them again as dog sitters. We were gone on vacation for 5 days and the dogs were spoiled and well taken care of. Thank you! From Marley & Zoey 🐾🐾 and us!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
