About: I first started as a dog-sitter in high school with a neighbor's Maltese and was approached by many family friends who wanted reliable care for their pets while on vacation or needed an on-call sitter for any emergencies. I've worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes, including Akitas, boxers, Shih Tzus, mini Schnauzers, pointers, and more. I've taken care of many elderly dogs who have dietary restrictions, require medication, or who need some extra care while being active. I'm very conscious of how dogs react to humans, other dogs, cats, etc. while walking, and I don't leave them alone for any more than 5 hours, which is the absolute maximum. If I cannot be with them all day, I try to check in at least every 4 hours and try to stay for at least 30 minutes each time. I'm a full-time student at the University of Utah and I am student teaching for my final year. Although classes, schoolwork, and student teaching take up time, I still have room in my schedule to care for animals. I have 4 long-time clients who will regularly reach out to me anytime their animals need care while they're out of town and who know that, despite my often busy schedule, when I have time between classes, I will be there, caring for their loved ones. I do not care for pets in my own home, as I am a renter and my roommate's cats are a little too wild and energetic for most other animals. When I care for pets in my clients' homes, I ask for very specific guidelines about what they are comfortable with me using. I leave things neat and tidy, and I am quick to communicate any important information about either the home or the pet. I'm also aware that many pets have a routine with their owners, so I do my best to replicate that routine to make both pet and owner feel as comfortable as possible. When I do overnight stays, I do ask for some access to food so that I'm not leaving anything unwelcome or eating fast food too regularly. However, if the owner is comfortable with me doing so, I am willing to bring my own food to the home and leave their things alone. The most important factor when caring for pets in the owner's home is communication.

About: Furry friends have been a part of my life as long as I can remember; my earliest memory is going to meet my first dog when I was 2 years old! As an adult, I have had dogs since getting married 16 years ago and I also worked as a pet sitter/dog walker from 11/2011-5/2014 for Home Buddies in the Seattle area. I have attached photos of some of my favorite clients to my profile. I absolutely love all animals and I treat them as though they were my own. I also try to be very conscientious about updates and caring for your home while visiting. I had many satisfied clients and I still keep in touch with some of them. I have worked with many different types of animals (including volunteering for a year at a wildlife rehab clinic) and I've worked with all ages and sizes of dogs (including a 180 lb Mastiff that I adored). My dogs are my children and they are my life. Updated 12/20/2025 - Please message me ahead of time if you are looking for visits so I can double check my personal calendar. I try to be open as much as possible 7 days a week during the 11-3 time slot, but I can't guarantee it 100%. Thank you so much! Right now I prefer to only do visits in your home. I have two dogs, and one of them isn't 100% ok with all other dogs. I would want to do an assessment with them first before committing to watching them in my own home and would only be open to small dogs at this time.

About: I work at a vet cleaning dog kennels on Weekend mornings. I like all the different kinds of dogs there are. I am always willing to help out at the vet if needed. My schedule is wide open! I'm currently living with my parents. I am hoping working with Rover will work into full time hours. Availabilty will not be difficult for me. I have a fenced in backyard with lots of room to play and I have one calico cat. That I take good care of. I can easily take your dogs for walks and check in on your lovable fur baby.

About: I grew up with cats as pets and loved taking care of them. We’ve had a dog for 2.5 years and trained him as a puppy. We have a half acre backyard where dogs can run and play and a mini-golden doodle, Zuko who is very friendly. My daughter, Ali and I have been pet sitters for our friends and family for both cats and dogs throughout the years. I work part time from home and have a very flexible schedule. Plus, my 14-year-old daughter will be helping me too! I often take hikes with my dog in the mornings and would be happy to take your dog with us if he or she likes to hike too. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly golden doodle to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. We keep the doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms shut all day so that the dogs stay in the main areas and can be found easily and kept out of trouble.

About: My name is Nina and I have always had pets. I grew up on a farm with sheep, horses, chickens dogs, and cats. I've been around pets my whole life and they are part of the family. I live in the city now, but mostly because the city moved in around me. We live in old Draper, the large lot, dead end road, country Draper. Convenient to shopping and fun, but still my country home. My kids are all 20 somethings now, but I have my 7 year old German Short Haired Pointer, Kai and my 4 year old puppy Loki home with me all day. I do not work outside the home and am home most days to play and share my days with my dogs and 1 cat Oscar. I'm not able to have your pets to my house due to my landlord, but I'm available to come to your house and play with your pets any time. Or provide walks and love while you're not available. I currently work part time from home and it's very flexible. I'm able to go out and visit pets during the day and evenings too! I'm available to go to client's home's only. My landlord doesn't want me to do Rover at the house. I have reliable transportation and time to share with your pets.

About: People notice my skill and gentleness around animals. I always try to match the energy and needs of the pets I meet. I’ll care for your fur baby as you would and you’ll get video updates during or after your trip or work day as desired. I can stop in or stay over, just let me know what you need. I have weekday, evening and weekend availability right now. As that changes I’ll update the site. I have my own darling cat to care for but she has others at home so I can stay longer or overnight if you need me. I provide stop in service with food, walks, play time, petting, light grooming and treats as you wish. I can also stay overnight and pet/house sit. About: I have grown up taking care of my dogs, as well as caring for chickens, geese, ducks and livestock. I just received a dual degree in Rangeland Ecology & Management and Wildlife Ecology & Conservation, so I can continue to help animals in my career. I am a full time Field Technician at the University of Nevada, Reno. I will be able to do check in visits before or after work. However halfway through the summer we go camping to complete work so I will be gone for 8 days at a time. My name is Colin and love all animals of every shape and size, to robo dwarf hamster to saint bernard! Pennie, a pembroke welsh corgi, is the most recent pup I’ve cared for as my own until she passed on. Day in and day out she got plenty of exercise, food, water and lots of love. With experience volunteering at the dumb friends league in Denver to being a registered volunteer at the La Plata County Humane Society in Durango, animals are such a blessing in our lives. About: Had three dogs growing up that I cared for. Love all dog breeds and ages. I’ve thought about going into the dog training field. Feeding, walks, bathing, training, giving medicine. Currently nannying for families in Lindon and Saratoga springs during the week. Would be fine with both long term schedules or just the occasional need.
