“Claire did great with my two pups. She sent updates with pictures after each visit and responded quickly to my questions. Claire was my dogs first experience with a walker and she did everything possible to help them feel comfortable.”

I am available nights and weekends as well I have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and get exercise under supervision. Whether your pet prefers being inside or outside, they’ll have plenty of space, attention, and a secure environment throughout their stay.
“We are so grateful that Evelyn was able to help us out on short notice. She is friendly, consistent and asked good questions. Our dog warmed up to her easily. We would recommend her to others!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12. I absolutely love it and I love all the animals I work with like my own. I’ve taken care of a variety of age groups, from puppies to seniors and am happy to adjust my care to fit them the best. Walking, feeding and playing with your pet is something I look forward to and I appreciate your trust to let me do so! I prioritize caring for your pet over anything else! Right now I’m between jobs so I will have lots of free time to spend with your pet. I am open to any kind of care but I thrive being hands on with the pet. I’ll spend my time petting, walking and even sharing a bed with the pet if that’s something that helps them sleep. I’ve dealt with anxious pets before so I’m happy to use what I’ve learned with your pet. Your pet is safe in my hands!
About: I enjoy taking care of pets and being around animals. I've owned several dogs and cats through out my life. I can take care of them at my house with a fenced in yard. My time is very flexible. Over night stays and longer visits are available. If you have any other questions or concerns let me know. I hang out all day with my dogs. We have an acre of land to play fetch and run around. I have no set routine. I love to give them love, affection, and treats. There is usually a lot of play time and keeping them entertained with toys and walks.

About: I have loved animals since I was a little girl. My goals have always been to be a caregiver for them. I have spent my whole life taking care of my own pets. I have spent many years volunteering and working at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, the Humane Society of Utah, many different veterinary clinics, doggy daycares and now at the west valley city animal shelter. While working have learned the importance of daily exercise, cleaning, and feeding our pets the proper food. I have many years of experience dog and cat sitting and dog walking for others. I love caring for animals and helping them have the best experience possible while their families are away. I am excited to get to know you and your pets!
About: Pets have always been a large part of my life. My mom had a huge spot in her heart for any living creature, and she passed that love on to me. I have taken care of a large range of little ones.... From cats, dogs, birds, turtles, fish, lizards, and even a Chinchilla! I have allot of experience with watching Dogs, cats, and other furry friends while their families are away. Pet care is what I dedicate most of my days too. I try to be as open and available to my clients, and their fur babies. I’ll make sure your pets have what they need to feel safe and loved while you’re away… playing with their favorite toys.. or throwing a ball in the yard! I also make sure to feed your pets around when they are use to being fed, as well as following any other routines they may have.
About: I’ve had pets for all of my 30 years and have learned how to give shots, medications, and special diets. From puppies/kittens to elderly dogs/cats. I love all animals the same, and care for them as I would my own. I am looking for a part time gig here. I’m available almost any days and times as long as I get a weeks notice :) I will provide a safe, quiet, patient energy, or a playful and fun environment depending on your pet’s needs. I will never leave them unattended and always be aware of unsafe areas. I will give their medication and shots correctly every time if needed.

About: I have loved and taken care of dogs for 8 years now. I am a proud owner of two dogs: Chewy, an 8 year old shorkie, and Cudi, an energetic 2 year old min-schnauzer. Raising them from puppies mean I have firsthand experience managing different energy levels, temperaments, feeding schedules, and daily exercise needs. While I am new to professional pet sitting, I promise to treat your pets with the exact same dedicated care and attention that I give to my own dogs every single day. I'm currently home for the summer from college in the bay area, so dog sitting is something that I could easily do full time. I take care of my two dogs every day, taking them on walks, feeding them, playing with them, and keeping them groomed. I give my dogs endless attention, consistently train them, take them to the dog park at least once a week, I love to take them on walks or just chill with them if they are more of a inside dog.
About: I grew up with two newfoundlands and a Bernese mountain dog so I’ve always done well with large breeds. Prior to getting my own pup I always sought to dog sit friends and families’ dogs to get my fill. I’ll walk, play with, feed, and love on your dog! I’m excited to add more big dog energy to the mix! Both my husband and I work from home and have a relaxed job. I spend half my time playing with my own dog during the day so having another dog in the mix is an easy adjustment:) I have a sweet, cuddly Bernese Mtn dog that plays well with others. I have a fenced backyard and play pens and crates if needed. I am able to interact with the dogs throughout the day as well as allow them as many potty breaks, walks, and games of tug-of-wars as needed.
“Audrey did a great job! She's great with the pups and a problem solver! She managed our 1 year old unaltered (yet) male standard poodle and worked her way through first day issues with keys, garage doors etc. Absolutely would book again. Thanks Audrey!”

About: Our place is on Browns Pond - it is almost an acre of property with only 4 apartments, a fully fenced yard area, and a whole lot of grass to play on. Our home is pet friendly and has a doggy door that goes out onto the enclosed, upstairs deck. Your fur baby can sunbake or enjoy the view of the water and the mountains. Both my husband and I are retired so I have time to give your pet lots of love and attention - I will take care of your pet like it is our own. If you have more than one dog, I will care for siblings together. I look forward to meeting you and your dog! I am retired so your pet will not be left unattended for long periods of time. I love to walk and Draper has wonderful walking paths and an excellent dog park for socializing. There is a pet bed in several rooms of the house plus a large crate if you require it. Where ever I am , your dog can be with me. There is a lot of land with a large grassed area and a fully fenced area to play in .... and I love to play outside in the yard.
About: I've had dogs in my life as far as a can remember! I've had little dogs, and big dogs. No 2 dogs are alike and I'd love to hear all about your guru baby to give it the best care I can in your absence Hi there, I'm Becca! I'm a dependable dog lover who knows that every pet deserves patience, kindness, and lots of attention. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family member while you're away. I offer drop-in visits and dog walking, and I'll treat your pet as if they were my own. I know how reassuring updates can be, so you can expect photos and messages after every visit so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while giving you peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend!
“Callie was awesome!! So thoughtful of my doggos needs and a making sure all aspects of taking care of them on their walks were met. She sent lots of pictures and was so friendly! Totally would use again!”

About: I have experience regularly house sitting multiple elderly cats who require close attention and medication. I live with my sister and our spunky year-old kitten, Scott. I've also taken care of dogs of multiple sizes and personalities, and love to go on walks! I work freelance and occasionally nanny, so I have a very flexible schedule. I can stop by one to two times a day to clean litter boxes, fill water and food bowls, and give medicine and attention as needed. Just let me know what you need! While I do not care for pets in my own home, I am happy to come to your home and care for your pets where they are comfortable!

About: Pets are family and I am grateful I have always had animals in my life. Always having had dogs or cats starting as a young child, I began pet sitting in college. Currently I work from home part time and my family includes my husband, two boys, & 2 rescue dogs Bo & Anabel. I am available to help with dogs, cats, and possibly other small animals/fish. I have experience with oral meds, injections, and eye meds. I have cared for puppies/kittens as well as senior pets. Walking, feeding time, play and lots of love included. I also am able to help with any house concerns while you are away. I would love to help care for and look after your precious fur family members!
About: I really just love all animals and want to love on them all. I currently have 3 cat babies of my own. I've volunteered for rescues as well as the South Valley Animal Shelter for near 10 years. I work from my laptop and bring my work along so that I can be there when needed for your pets whenever needed. This also makes my availability very open. I do not have a place to pet sit any animals but I am more than willing to pet sit at the animals / pet parents home.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Draper
Trevor was amazing! He stepped in at the last minute on the Fourth of July to walk my dog and spend some time with him. He was so kind, patient, and took wonderful photos of my dog. He gave him a lot of love and I came back to a very happy puppy! I would 100% work with him again!

Within 5 seconds of meeting Anne we could tell she was a good soul and has a genuine love for animals. Our golden doodle Boola is very selective with people but as soon as Anne came in Boola couldn't stay away from her or stop giving her kisses. She was very punctual and always sent pics from her walks with our girl. Will DEFINITELY use her again!

Michelle was simply excellent, the best I’ve used on Rover. She was reliable, punctual, and sent multiple pictures plus a map of where she walked and what he did on the walk. I used her to take my dog for his midday walk while I was skiing. When I felt my phone vibrate at our agreed upon time each day I knew he was being taken care of!

Amanda was amazing with walking and taking care of my boy Spanky. It was kind of a last minute request yet she responded quickly, communicated great and went well above and beyond expectations and I couldn’t be more appreciative for her help. Thanks so much Amanda!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
