“Caroline was just the person we needed to help our dog feel comfortable while we were away. She was very communicative and followed all of our instructions. Our girl seemed to love her, too!”
About: I have experience with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I have my own sweet little rescue dog who is good with other dogs and loves people to death! I am an active and experienced pet owner who knows how hard it is to find someone you trust to look after your little one! That’s why I’m here. I want to help you feel confident and comfortable inviting someone into your home to care for your pet. I have a big fenced yard at my home, and lots of room for dogs to run and play. I pride myself in treating all animals with love and respect. I can recognize dogs’ various signals, and feel confident that I can keep your pet safe, happy and healthy! I am a full time stay at home mom! I would love to take care of your pet in the evenings and weekends while my husband can be home from work with my human babies! As a mom and the manager of my own home, I am a very clean and detail oriented person. I will always treat your home with upmost respect. I’m happy to water plants, pick up your mail, or complete any other small tasks you may need while I’m caring for your pet. I will follow any instructions you have on where you’d like them to sleep, how they like to be fed, rules of the house, etc. your wish is my command!
“Alaina was so sweet and gentle with my anxious little guy! She spent so much time with us for the meet and greet and even took notes. I appreciate all her pictures and patience with my little guy.”

“I’ve been really pleased with Keely and William so far. My dog loves them. They’re courteous and professional and always let me know how my girl is doing. Highly recommend!”

About: A couple who have two of the best fur-babies on the planet and would love to help you out with yours! My dog growing up lived to be 16 years old so I do have experience caring for a senior dog, administering meds, and being extra mindful of their physical limits. One of our fur babies is really prone to ear infections, so we are also familiar with giving ear drops, cleaning, and giving antibiotics for that. We have had both of our fur baby since they were puppies, so we know how that can be too and how much love, patience, and attention they require to be properly stimulated. We did have cats as well growing up, I don’t have any of my own, but I do also enjoy how relaxing cats can be with their more mellow personalities as they get older, but still super playful with the right toys. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner and Chris works from home. We both love animals, and would love to get to know your family. Both of us work full time doing 10 hour shifts, but we work different hours and different days commonly, so between the two of us, we can always coordinate a visit in the morning and the evening, the only drop in that might be more difficult to arrange is something in the middle of the day. Chris works from home and I work 10 hour shifts 3 times a week. We are both excellent at following instructions and will follow whatever care needs your fur babe requires. We just want to understand what will make everyone feel safe and comfortable.
“For the past 4 months, London has been walking my dog once per week. She is reliable, professional, and responds to inquires quickly. If you are looking for a kind and loving dog walker, London is needed.”

About: Pet friendly and love all kinds of animals. We are a home that loves any animal and our kids love having dogs around and show them so much love. Our kids are very well behaved around animals and get along with dogs very well. Someone is always home to watch and care for our furry friends. Love and care is always going to be available for your loved pets. Have a fenced in patio if needed and allow owners to bring their pets crates if they would like. Safety and security is at the top of my priorities to make sure your pet is cared for.
About: Leaving your pet with someone new is stressful, I get it. My goal is simple. Treat your pet like family, so you can relax when you are gone. Every visit includes real attention, not just the basics. Playtime, enrichment, and whatever routine your pet is used to. I take time upfront to learn their personality and quirks, so care feels familiar to them, not disruptive. You’ll get honest, timely updates with photos so you’re never left wondering how things are going. I’m a dog mom of two, and I grew up with dogs my whole life. I’ve also looked after friends’ pets for years, so I know how much it means to leave them in good hands. Every animal has their own personality and needs, and I take the time to really understand each one I care for. Reach out and let’s set up a meet and greet. I’d love to meet your pet! I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule most days. That means I can offer consistent visits at the same time each day, or adjust if your pet’s routine needs something different. I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, feeding, fresh water, and playtime or cuddles, depending on what they’re used to. I match walks to your dog’s energy level, and any specific instructions you give me, whether that’s a calm stroll or a longer walk to burn off energy. House sitting: I treat your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. Beyond looking after your pets routine, I keep an eye on the house, bring in mail or packages if needed, and leave things exactly as I found them.
About: Welcome to Wiggly Butt Retreat, where dogs are spoiled, snuggled, and adored. I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare designed to feel less like traditional boarding and more like staying with someone your dog already knows and loves. I am generally home throughout the day, so my guests get plenty of attention, affection, playtime, outdoor breaks, and, of course, naps and cuddles. I intentionally keep things small and personal. I mostly care for one dog/household at a time. If I do take more than one, it's always discussed with owners and I'm very selective about the dogs I accept together. I consider personality, temperament, size, energy level, age, and individual needs because I want every dog in my home to feel safe and comfortable. This is not a crowded kennel or large daycare environment. It is my home, and every dog who stays here becomes part of it for a little while. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for almost 30 years. I've raised and trained my own dogs, spent about 15 years fostering and helping rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs, volunteered as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments, and completed animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services. That experience has taught me that dogs aren't one-size-fits-all. Some want to play all day. Some would happily spend the afternoon curled up next to me. Some need a little extra patience before they decide I'm trustworthy. And some need more structure, space, or reassurance to feel comfortable. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog's personality and figuring out what makes them happiest. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. My goal is for you to leave knowing they're safe, loved, understood, and probably being spoiled a little more than they'll admit when you get home. Welcome to Wiggly Butt Retreat. Cozy home, calm vibes, happy tails. I am generally home throughout the day, and I keep our daily routine flexible based on the needs of the pups staying with me. Energetic and ready to go? There will be plenty of walks, outdoor time, play, and opportunities to burn off that energy. More of a couch potato? Laid-back days, cozy naps, and couch snuggles are some of my favorite pastimes! Because I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my care exclusive/small, I'm able to get to know each pup's personality and make sure they get the right balance of activity, attention, play, and downtime. Not every dog wants to do the same thing, and that's perfectly okay. Pups are rarely left alone while staying with me. If I do need to step out, it's typically for a short period of time, usually no more than an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.
“Amanda is amazing. Astrid loves her time playing and walking with Amanda. Amanda is on time, upfront if she has schedule conflicts, and I adore when she sends me a report card with how the walk went.”

About: I have owned dogs with my family growing up and and now my own little family! Mine and my husband’s two dogs are 17 and 15 and I would like to think that is a testament to my love for my fur babies. We also have two bunnies but don’t worry they have their hutch homes so your pets can either wander free in my home or my big backyard that is fully fenced in. I don’t have and special animal trainings except making your pet feel loved, like they are at home and comfortable while their loved ones are away for a bit. I currently work part time so I have plenty of free time but my husband works from home so there will always be someone home except for the occasional errands. We have a large fenced in backyard and they can roam free inside or out. We have two sweet older dogs that basically sleep all day but if they are awake are willing to play.
“Kendra has been absolutely amazing! My boys adore her, and I couldn't be happier. She's super reliable, takes such great care of them, and always keeps me in the loop. I feel so grateful to have her help with walking our boys!”

About: People notice my skill and gentleness around animals. I always try to match the energy and needs of the pets I meet. I’ll care for your fur baby as you would and you’ll get video updates during or after your trip or work day as desired. I can stop in or stay over, just let me know what you need. I have weekday, evening and weekend availability right now. As that changes I’ll update the site. I have my own darling cat to care for but she has others at home so I can stay longer or overnight if you need me. I provide stop in service with food, walks, play time, petting, light grooming and treats as you wish. I can also stay overnight and pet/house sit. Let me know what you and your pet prefer and any anxieties or health issues I should be aware of. I can’t wait to meet you and give you peace of mind about your pet while you are busy or away. I held a government job for many years out of state with a rigorous background check. I’m ready to spoil your pet and keep them safe for you.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for about three years. I have house-sat multiple times for family members’ dogs. I grew up with cats and have cared for several as well! I’m currently working a part time job and have most mornings and early afternoons free! I would love to take your dog on a walk or run. I’m available for house checkins as well. I can feed your dog and take it on walks. I am open to bathing your dog as needed, though I do not have as much experience with that. I want to get your dog outside and moving! A tired dog is a happy dog.

Lianna was amazing!! She was super patient and accommodating when our schedule changed. She also was very patient with appa and his quirks. He’s a hesitant and shy dog. She was able to win his trust, with the help of treats lol She was great at communicating and sent cute photos and updates ☺️I would totally recommend using her! We will definitely love to work with her in the future!

Kate did an amazing job taking care of my dog while we were out of town. She kept us updated with pictures and check ins, which I really appreciated. It made being away so much less stressful. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet care!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
