About: I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare where your pup is treated like family, not just “watched.” I am generally home all day and host one dog or one family at a time, so your pet receives personalized attention, a peaceful environment, and plenty of love, play, and one-on-one care throughout their stay. No crowded boarding situations. No overwhelming chaos. Just a safe, cozy home where dogs can settle in, relax, and feel comfortable. I have almost 30 years of hands-on experience, caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, energy levels, and unique needs. My experience includes: • Owning and training dogs since I was 18 (almost 30 years) • 15 years fostering and helping to rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs • Animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services • Volunteer experience as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments • Pet First Aid & CPR certification • Experience administering oral and injectable medications • Currently enrolled in the GoodPup Dog Training Course to continue expanding my knowledge and skills My goal is simple: for you to feel completely at ease while your dog feels safe, loved, and right at home. I am generally home all day. I adjust my day around your pup(s). Energetic and needs a lot of exercise? We'll go for walks, hikes, and play to their hearts content. More of a couch potato? Laid back couch snuggles are one of my favorite pass times! Fur babies are rarely left alone. If I do need to step out, it is typically only for a short period of time, usually no more than a an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. Dogs staying with me enjoy a calm, home-based environment with plenty of love, attention, and one-on-one care. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

“Samantha did a wonderful job watching our house, our two dogs, our cat, and baby chicks! She was great with the animals, followed instructions with pet medications meticulously, and left the house clean. Big thanks to Rover & Samantha!!”
“Anna is delightful and we are so glad to have found her. Our dogs were comfortable with her immediately She is responsible and a great communicator. She left our home in great shape- above and beyond Definitely 5 stars!”

“Trevor took our last minute request for a 4 day house sitting and he was amazing with our dogs. This was my first time using Rover, so I didn’t know what to expect, but he came for a meet and greet the day before and the dogs warmed up to him immediately. That already put my mind at ease, but Trevor sent tons of updates throughout and he was clearly taking great care of them. Would definitely book again.”

“Thank you so much, Amy! We love having her watch Fred. He is well taken care of with lots of pictures and she’s always updating and asking questions. Amy left our house spotless as well after a trip away. Thank you!”

“Lori was so great with our two dogs! They seemed to really enjoy having her watch them and got excited every time she came over. She takes great care of them and did extras like walks and bringing in our packages. Thanks so much!”

“I’ve used Rover a lot and I can positively say Gene is the best option if you need someone to watch over your pets! He kept me informed with an update every day without overwhelming me with messages. He has very keen sense of animal behavior. House looked perfect, animals fed and happy and a fantastic recap left behind for us. P.S. he impromptu watered our flowers.”

“We have had amazing dog sitters before so I’m not sure how it is possible but she tops everyone we have had. I have such peace of mind when we are away, she does everything we ask her to do and communicates well. I can literally go away and not stress over how our three dogs are cared for. She is most definitely our go to.”

“This was our first time using Rover, Kathryn was fantastic!!! We needed her to stay in our home for an extended amount of time and she had no problem with that at all, her rates actually lowered a bit for the longer stay which was surprising and very nice. She did so well with our special needs rescue dog and our cat, always sending photos, videos and notes about them. I would never hesitate to book Kathryn again! Just loved her!”

About: Hello all dog lovers! My name is Silvia and i'm excited to see that you see me as a potential candidate to be your dog sitter. Let me give you some reasons why i'm a responsible house guest.. About: I have hands on experience caring for dogs through walking, in home sitting, while following routines that help our doggos feel safe. What sets me apart is my reliability, clear communication, and the care I take to understand each dog's individual needs, personality, and comfort level rather than treating visits as rushed check-ins. I intentionally structure my daily and weekly routine around pet care, allowing flexibility for walks, check-ins, and in home sitting while ensuring each dog receives reliable, unrushed attention. When caring for pets in a clients home, I treat both the pet and the space with the same respect I would want someone to show mine. I take time to learn each dog's routine, preferences, and any special instructions so they feel comfortable and secure while away. Safety is always my top priority. I double check doors, gates, leashes, and feeding instructions, and I stay attentive during walks and potty breaks to avoid stressful or unsafe situations. I keep a calm, consistent energy so pets feel at ease, especially those who experience anxiety when their owners are away. I'm mindful of your home environment as well, I keep things clean, follow house rules closely, and leave your space just as I found it (or better). I provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing and can relax knowing they're in good hands. My goal is simple: for your pet to feel safe, cared for, and happy - and for you to feel confident trusting me in your home.

Kate did an amazing job watching our dogs while we were away! She was incredibly attentive, communicative, and clearly cared for them like they were her own. We came home to two very happy, well-cared-for pups and had total peace of mind the entire time thanks to her updates and photos. She went above and beyond, and we could tell our dogs absolutely loved her. We would 100% book with Kate again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!

Kendra was great and took great care of our little friends! She took them for walks and played with them. Kendra, you are greatly appreciated and Maze, Fender, and Gizmo hope you see you again soon!
