Welcome Home, Pets!
My love of animals began as a young boy, babysitting pets of friends and family. It wasn't until college, however, that I became a pet owner myself. I've owned 8 cats and 1 dog over the years, and even while I lived overseas in China. In China, I adopted and rescued a 3 legged pup that was wandering the alleys of Shanghai, lost, lonely and no one to love him. Since returning to the States, I've adopted Aspen and Breck, a brother and sister feline duo. They are the coolest, most chill cats ever and I'm convinced Breck thinks he's a dog! They are the BEST! I currently live in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment. The complex has several areas for dogs. I also live a short walk away from a walking trail as well as a dog park. Lots of open space for your dogs to get outside! It's my mission to spread my love of animals by giving you peace of mind while caring for your pets whether it be for a day, a week or a month! I'd love to help out in any way I can!

I live in an apartment complex. There is a ton of out door space for dogs to walk and get exercise. I also live nearby a walking trail for walks. Your pet would get lots of love, attention and have his/her needs met whether at my place or yours!

Needed a last minute sitter & Gene came through! He had great questions at the meet & greet. During the stay he kept me updated & we were very surprised at the detailed notes left & experience he had with Grimm making us feel confident & happy with our sitter choice. We will absolutely book again. Highly recommend
We got last minute tickets to the World Cup and needed someone to look after the pets for the weekend. Gene stepped in to help us (as per usual!) and we came home to two happy little animals. Highly recommend.
This is not our first time trusting Gene to look after our animals and it won’t be our last. He’s trustworthy, reliable, and we always feel comfortable knowing our pets are in good hands.

Gene was amazing! We needed a very last minute sitter for our dog and 2 cats. He stayed in touch everyday and kept us updated! He made our trip so easy. Will definitely book with him next time we need a sitter!!

Schedule
I work full-time as a teacher, so I'm unable to care for pets in the day time during the school year. If I board or house-sit, your dog would need to be able to be alone for a full 8 hour work day. Summer months are flexible depending on my schedule.

- If your pet is staying with me, it's vital that they would interact well with my cats. My cats are generally chill with other animals, but don't like being chased. If you want me to board your kitty, please give me enough notice so that I can get a space set up for him/her. It's important to keep cats separated at least for a period of time before introductions.
