“London took care of our 2 cats for almost 3 weeks while we were on vacation. London did everything as requested and then some -- like watering our 20+ plants!!! We especially appreciated the daily pictures of our fur babies, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. London's gentle nature even helped our shy cat to feel trusting enough to come out of hiding to greet her.”

“Hanna and Mica get along famously! Mica is very comfortable with her, and Hanna sends the cutest photos ever day :-). We will use her services whenever we have to leave our baby at home for travel.”

“Alexis was an amazing cat sitter! She made sure our kitty got her medication and spent lots of time with her, which we really appreciated. She was very communicative and never hesitated to reach out with any questions or concerns. She truly went above and beyond, and we’d definitely hire her again!”

“Kendra is great with our dogs and goes above and beyond watching and walking. She is teaching them new tricks and takes care of their beds when I forget to do it. ❤️”

“When I first met Kate, she was very kind and sweet to my dogs. I could tell that she truly loved dogs and that she would take good care of them while I was gone. She was very reliable and I know that my dogs had good care and love from her. I will definitely Use Kate again.”

“Spencer was great with our senior pittie. He worked with her some on her separation anxiety. He arrived on time and left on time. He is a gem of a sitter and we look forward to having him back.”

“We've used Alaina a few times now and couldn't be happier. She spends lots of time with our kitties and makes sure they are well taken care of and loved every time.”

“Makenna is very reliable. I love that I don’t have to worry about Bilbo while at work because I know Makenna’s got it! She’s also very flexible which is much appreciated since my needs will vary.”

About: I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare where your pup is treated like family, not just “watched.” I am generally home all day and host one dog or one family at a time, so your pet receives personalized attention, a peaceful environment, and plenty of love, play, and one-on-one care throughout their stay. No crowded boarding situations. No overwhelming chaos. Just a safe, cozy home where dogs can settle in, relax, and feel comfortable. I have almost 30 years of hands-on experience, caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, energy levels, and unique needs. My experience includes: • Owning and training dogs since I was 18 (almost 30 years) • 15 years fostering and helping to rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs • Animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services • Volunteer experience as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments • Pet First Aid & CPR certification • Experience administering oral and injectable medications • Currently enrolled in the GoodPup Dog Training Course to continue expanding my knowledge and skills My goal is simple: for you to feel completely at ease while your dog feels safe, loved, and right at home. I am generally home all day. I adjust my day around your pup(s). Energetic and needs a lot of exercise? We'll go for walks, hikes, and play to their hearts content. More of a couch potato? Laid back couch snuggles are one of my favorite pass times! Fur babies are rarely left alone. If I do need to step out, it is typically only for a short period of time, usually no more than a an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. Dogs staying with me enjoy a calm, home-based environment with plenty of love, attention, and one-on-one care. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jenny is excellent. Pleasantly surprised at how great of a pet sitter she has been. I have a vet tech that was previously sitting for me and she did circles around them. Incredibly wellnatured, communicated with many photos and updates throughout the day and was willing to also house sit for me as well. I could tell from photos that my zen was much much happier with her there. It’s so hard to find someone that can connect well with animals especially mine which is a bit used to being spoiled and given lots of attention. She took great care, made sure he ate even though he is very picky, played with him, groomed him and even took him out for walks. Great, great trustworthy and reliable sitter. Will use her when I go out of town again and highly recommend.”

“Myia has been helping us with our senior dog. Dropping in to give him his medication and let him out potty. They have always been on time and communication has been great. I would recommend them for any of your pet care needs.”

About: I treat your pet as if they were my own. I pay attention to each pets personality, routines, and comfort needs. I’m responsive, dependable and committed to making owners feel at ease. I have a pretty flexible schedule. I work a part time job and have a dog of my own, so caring for pets already fits naturally into my routine. I provide attentive, loving care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. I make sure pets stay on their normal routine with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications if needed, and lots of attention.
“Eva was so great with our dog! She spent plenty of time with Lilah and was great with communication, always sharing pictures each visit. Would recommend booking Eva!”

“Very comfortable leaving my cat under Gene’s care. Was easily obvious that he has lots of experience with cats. He left a cat log describing each of his visits. Will rebook Gene when I need a drop in sitter.”

About: For pups that need more than a place to stay, we provide peaceful, fun, private, in-home care. From daily walks and pup cup runs to catch in the yard, couch naps, training enrichment, hikes, and dog-friendly field trips, our home is clean, fun, and full of natural light, with music playing, access to a fenced deck, and plenty of sunny spots to lounge. We host one guest family at a time to provide close attention. Hello! I’m Helen, and together with Kayla, we’ll be your pup’s concierge. Between the two of us, we have a combined 30 years of raising and loving dogs, cats, and the occasional sugar glider. As dog moms ourselves, we need total peace of mind knowing our own pets are not being treated like a chore, but truly enjoyed. We want your pup to feel snuggled, seen, and loved just like at home. We each have a friendly, fun-loving dog, Leia and Arlo, who love hanging out and playing with new friends. They are oddly good at matching a guest dog’s energy and helping shy dogs feel comfortable. I also have two cats who don’t acknowledge any dog’s existence. We’d love for your pup to join our pack while you’re out in the world. I (Helen) work from home full-time, and Kayla, works during the day. I am the "Stay-At-Home" dog mom; which allows me to be fully present, so your dog is not left alone for long stretches of time, and they are consistently provided care. Kayla takes the evening shift with the pups, and tires them out with a lot of fetch, and tug-o-war with our mountain of dog toys. I take safety and trust very seriously; we have a very short list of people we trust with our fur babies, so when your pup stays with us, we are attentive and keep a watchful eye on their moods, body language, eating and bathroom patterns, etc. We want all animals to be treated with the same care and presence we give ours. If something ever feels off, I’ll reach out and communicate with you right away. We take extra note of how they are settling in for the first few days and will work with you to get them adjusted. We like to keep all the animals in eyesight, to ensure everyone is accounted for and comfortable. Leia and Arlo follow us everywhere, so where they go the other dogs usually follow suit. We change out water fountains daily (using filtered water from the fridge), and have multiple running water fountain stations throughout the house. I sweep and vacuum every two days so pups don’t have access to anything unsafe on the floor. My city requires dogs to be on leash in public areas, and I personally feel safest keeping your dog leashed during our potty breaks and walks. I do have a fenced yard, but there is no locking gate, so dogs are only allowed out there with one of us present. I generally avoid dog parks due to concerns around illness and unpredictable behavior from unfamiliar dogs. We regularly meet up with trusted, well-socialized dogs pup friends for backyard playdates. We have a park right across the street and a huge school field that is great for play.
“Callie was amazing! I had booked last minute travel and needed someone to watch Gracie. I haven’t left Gracie for nearly 3 years and was very nervous to do so. Callie was very quick to respond, kept me updated with lots of pics, and took such great care of Gracie. She’s an absolute angel.”

South Jordan Heights cat parents share their Rover experiences
Stacey is the best Rover I’ve booked! She spent so much time giving my kitty attention that he was so content when I got home. She kept my place very clean and took very informative pictures so I felt confident that everything I asked for was being done well! Highly recommend booking her.

London took care of our 2 cats for almost 3 weeks while we were on vacation. London did everything as requested and then some -- like watering our 20+ plants!!! We especially appreciated the daily pictures of our fur babies, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. London's gentle nature even helped our shy cat to feel trusting enough to come out of hiding to greet her.

Spencer did a terrific job making sure my cat was fed and taken care of while I was away. He went above and beyond by giving her some extra food when my flight got delayed a day, so she would survive a day alone. Super Responsive and sent pics every day. Highly recommended!

Makenna was a wonderful pet sitter! She followed the directions perfectly for our two cats. She was reliable and communicative during her visits. She showed exceptional care for our pets and home! I would definitely reach out to Makenna again to take care of our cats!

Alyssa was honestly amazing. She was recommended to me by a friend who'd used her multiple times and I'm so glad I booked with her. She gave me such great piece of mind and made me feel so much better about leaving my kitty for a week. She is clearly someone who loves animals and I'll definitely be booking with her again.
