About: I love animals. I have been caring for them for years and find joy in making sure they are happy. It is my first priority to care for your pet in the way you prefer. I am punctual and excited to meet new pets that I can care for. I’m an independent contractor which means I get to create my schedule. Luckily for me, this means I can pick up different side hustles at whatever times I want. I already do cardio everyday by walking so this would fit perfectly into my routine. Whatever rules or expectations the owner wants, I will take with great care, caution, and intention. The safety of your pet and the respect of your home is of utmost importance to me.
“Jaina was great! You can tell she takes her job seriously and that she seriously likes cats haha. She watched our two kitties while we were out and I'll be sure to use her again in the future.”

“Alecia was very responsive and gave us peace of mind while caring for our puppy, who needed extra supervision and attention at his age. We appreciated the photos and updates!”

About: Spoiler alert: I will absolutely fall in love with your pet like they are my own family. Think of me as the fun aunt who spoils them with attention but is totally on top of her game. To me, pets are like little kids who just need that extra dose of love, patience, and dedicated attention. If you give me a shot, I promise I’ll become your pet's official BFF. I'm not here to just sit on a couch all day—I am all about active, high-quality care: 🌲 Day-Out Adventures & Hikes: I love to stay moving! I take dogs on focused hikes and day adventures to the absolute best spots—think plenty of shade and refreshing running water to splash in. 👵 Senior Pet Super-Hero: I have a massive heart for senior pets. I focus heavily on tending to the sweet old-timers who need a slower pace, gentle care, and longer, patient blocks of daytime companionship. 💊 Safety First (The Serious Stuff): While I love to have fun, safety is my absolute top priority. I am fully prepared with pet first aid knowledge, know how to safely handle medications, and keep a watchful eye on every detail. 🏡 Premium Overnight Care: While my days are spent on the go, I do offer overnight house-sitting or hotel stays on a limited basis. I am incredibly selective about where I stay to ensure it's a stellar, clean fit for both me and your pup! Whether it's a brisk trail hike or a quiet afternoon comforting a senior dog, I treat them all like royalty. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and being active. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets attention, consistency, companionship, exercise, and personalized care throughout the day. I enjoy creating, fun, positive experiences for pets whether that means walks, playtime, relaxing companionship, check-ins, enrichment activities, or simply helping them stick to their normal routine while their owners are away or busy. I also love to go on hikes close by and running those really active pups. I treat every pet like an individual and make time to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. A typical day with me is calm, flexible, and tailored to your pet’s personality and energy level. Some pets want adventure, enrichment, and outdoor time, while others are happiest with companionship, routine, cuddles, and a relaxed environment. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while keeping owners updated with communication and photos. Depending on your pet’s needs, visits can include walks, playtime, enrichment activities, feeding, medication support, potty breaks, relaxing companionship, or outings for extra stimulation and exercise. I’m especially patient with shy pets, seniors, and animals who need extra reassurance or consistency. I believe pets do best when they feel understood instead of rushed or stressed. My goal is simple: happy pets, peace of mind for owners, and care that feels personal instead of one-size-fits-all.
About: I, with the help of my 3 kids and husband, have fostered animals through the Humane Society of Utah several times, simply because we LOVE animals and my children have BEGGED for animals to care for! I grew up with dogs and cats. We really enjoy both dogs and cats! I had a small dog (Yorkie) for 12 years. When my dog was a puppy I took him to a dog training school where I learned how to handle him, get him to mind, sit, walk on a leash, and behave around other dogs and people. I also learned how to do his grooming/teeth care. He was my little companion for 12 years but he passed away in 2020. We have no other pets right now. I have watched friends'/family's pets several times while they were on trips. I'm comfortable administering medication to animals and taking care of senior animals, and those who need time/space to warm up to us and their new environment. For nervous animals, we take it slow and give them space. I love figuring out what makes your pet happy and doing that for them. I'm a stay-at-home mom with 3 children. I often go on a walk in the morning for a hour. Your dog would be a welcome addition! I'm available on most weekdays and weekends. If I take care of your pet, I may run errands or run my kids to activities but will return home within a few hours. I usually spend most of the day at home. Your pet will have a lot of attention and love and won’t be left alone for long stretches of time. We love to care for animals, but we love to have fun with them!! We love taking dogs on walks, playing fetch, and making obstacle courses (nothing dangerous, haha) for them in the fenced backyard. We like cuddling with pets and giving them food/water and treats. (If allowed by the owner.) We love to see animals happy, healthy, and having fun. My children are sweet, good-natured, and excited to have animals to love and care for. I teach them that sometimes animals need to take breaks and rest, like people. And other times they are ready to play and get exercise. I am always attentive to my children and the animals in our care. Dogs, if they prefer, can be in our fenced backyard during the day. My children will love to play fetch with your dog, or include your dog in imaginative play. Or if the dog prefers to be near me, I will let them follow me around the house during the day, or stay on a dog bed in our main family room. I can easily crate a dog if needed as well. At night, if the dog/cat prefers it, and we feel comfortable as well, your pet can curl up and sleep on a bed with a family member at night. I would keep fresh water, food, and a dog/cat bed out at all times. (Unless instructed otherwise by the owner on feeding.) At night, if it is a good fit for the dog, I would put the dog in our large bathroom on the main floor at night with their food/water and dog bed. They would be in there from 11 pm until 7:30 am. I would let them outside for potty breaks each morning first thing and throughout the day. Cats would be able to play and lounge around the main family room during the day. I would keep kitty litter, food, and water in our large bathroom, which they would have access to throughout the day. At night I would keep the cat in the large bathroom on their cat bed or towels.
“Alaina was very professional and took excellent care of our cats while we were kn vacation. Took plenty of time to visit with them and make sure they had plenty of love!”

About: I've owned and cared for cats and dogs my whole life. I have always had a soft spot for all animals and consider them the purest souls on earth. I believe we each have an individual responsibility to provide the best environment and stimulation for the creatures in our care as we are lucky to be stewards over them for their time with us. It is important to me to provide a fully pet-safe sanitized, comfortable, safe environment for every cat that stays in my hotel. I can't wait to get to know and spend time with your little loves! I am a stay at home mom who is available round the clock to care for your furry best friend! Cat Boarding is my specialty but I have also owned dogs my whole life, both big and small and am ready to play with and walk your pup! I am available for my kitty clients around the clock. I check in on them frequently throughout the day and send pictures and videos daily. Each kitty receives mental stimulation and individual play time (if wanted by them of course) as well as one hour a day of kitty tv. When out on adventures with my dog-walking clients, we will explore different places, spend time sniffing and getting mental stimulation, and end each adventure with some play and snuggles.
“Spencer did a terrific job making sure my cat was fed and taken care of while I was away. He went above and beyond by giving her some extra food when my flight got delayed a day, so she would survive a day alone. Super Responsive and sent pics every day. Highly recommended!”

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. Not a day has gone by that I've never been around a pet. I even take care of my friend's pets at college when I can! Pet care fits perfectly into my summer routine! I’m free to spend time with your pets, whether it's daily walks, playtime, or just giving them some love and attention. It’s the ideal way for me to enjoy my summer while taking care of your furry friends! I prioritize safety and trust by ensuring a calm, pet-friendly environment. Whether in your home or mine, I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and secure. I’m attentive to their needs and make sure they feel loved and safe while you’re away.

I was so concerned about leaving my 1 year old kitty alone while we went on a five day trip. I cannot say enough good things about Sarah she came twice a day for one hour each time and sent pictures showing how my kitty was doing. After the first day my concerns were gone. I will definitely use Sarah again the next time we need a sitter.

We headed out to a long vacation and felt completely at peace knowing Sana would be caring for our two kitties. They absolutely love seeing her - rolling over for belly rubs, rubbing their faces on her and and leg (a definite sign of kitty love) ;o) Every day we reviewed her home visit report and looked at the photos she took feeling such gratitude that we could see how well taken care of and happy they were. Thank you Sana!

Anika was an amazing pet sitter. She took such wonderful care of our cat. She came daily to feed her, play with her, and clean her litterbox. Anika was extremely communicative, and even let me know that my cat had an accident. She even took a picture of it and cleaned it up so well that there was no sign of it when we came home. She even offered to brush our cat and went above and beyond. Anika is caring, kind, and attentive. I will definitely hire her again in the future!

I have booked with Caroline multiple times for my two cats. I am the type to always worry about my pets while I’m away, but her experience, knowledge, and communication helps put me at ease! Even on my longest trips, I know they’re always well taken care of! Thank you Caroline!

Heaven was an amazing cat sitter while we were away for 8 days. She took excellent care of our cat, Champagne, and gave us complete peace of mind during our vacation. It was clear that Champagne was well cared for, loved, and comfortable while we were gone. Heaven was reliable, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. We came home to a happy cat and couldn’t be more grateful. I highly recommend Heaven to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Lyndi was awesome. She sent me lots of photos and videos after each visit. My cats get very stressed when I leave and they seemed so much better when I came home from this trip after Lyndi spent great quality time with them. I greatly appreciate it and will definitely use her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
