“TL;DR: Myia was so fantastic with our cats that we rebooked her while the current booking was still ongoing! I'm so glad we found her! She spent an hour a day with our 2 cats for two weeks. She was very communicative and punctual. I had mild separation anxiety leaving the cats for so long, but Miya sent great photos and updates every day that made me feel so much better! During her visits, apart from her usual duties, she also cleaned up an accident near the litter box and brought it 2 packages that we had mistimed to be delivered during our travel. She also found a rogue vitamin pill on the floor and made sure the cats wouldn't have access to it in case it was toxic. She gave lots of loving to our social cat and listened to my suggestions on how to get the anti-social one to open up to her. Just a rockstar all around! I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare designed to feel less like traditional boarding and more like staying with someone your dog already knows and loves. Because I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my care exclusive/small, I'm able to get to know each pup's personality and make sure they get the right balance of activity, attention, play, and downtime. Not every dog wants to do the same thing, and that's perfectly okay. Pups are rarely left alone while staying with me. If I do need to step out, it's typically for a short period of time, usually no more than an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

About: A couple who have two of the best fur-babies on the planet and would love to help you out with yours! My dog growing up lived to be 16 years old so I do have experience caring for a senior dog, administering meds, and being extra mindful of their physical limits. One of our fur babies is really prone to ear infections, so we are also familiar with giving ear drops, cleaning, and giving antibiotics for that. We have had both of our fur baby since they were puppies, so we know how that can be too and how much love, patience, and attention they require to be properly stimulated. We did have cats as well growing up, I don’t have any of my own, but I do also enjoy how relaxing cats can be with their more mellow personalities as they get older, but still super playful with the right toys. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner and Chris works from home. We both love animals, and would love to get to know your family. Both of us work full time doing 10 hour shifts, but we work different hours and different days commonly, so between the two of us, we can always coordinate a visit in the morning and the evening, the only drop in that might be more difficult to arrange is something in the middle of the day. Chris works from home and I work 10 hour shifts 3 times a week. We are both excellent at following instructions and will follow whatever care needs your fur babe requires. We just want to understand what will make everyone feel safe and comfortable.

About: I am definitely strong enough to take care of the large babies and patient with the babies that need a little extra loving. I have always been drawn to animals and they pretty much always love me too! I am working part time and in between a career shift. I am so excited to get to be able to help take care of the fur babies!! About: I have owned dogs with my family growing up and and now my own little family! Mine and my husband’s two dogs are 17 and 15 and I would like to think that is a testament to my love for my fur babies. We also have two bunnies but don’t worry they have their hutch homes so your pets can either wander free in my home or my big backyard that is fully fenced in. I don’t have and special animal trainings except making your pet feel loved, like they are at home and comfortable while their loved ones are away for a bit. I currently work part time so I have plenty of free time but my husband works from home so there will always be someone home except for the occasional errands. We have a large fenced in backyard and they can roam free inside or out. We have two sweet older dogs that basically sleep all day but if they are awake are willing to play.
About: AVAILABLE MOST HOLIDAYS. Furry or not, I enjoy caretaking and I'm great at it. I adore animals and nothing is more rewarding than winning over a particularly "difficult" client. Your pet will be very well taken care of and exactly to your specifications. I am attentive and affectionate, know how to read their body language/signals, and patient enough to handle any special needs that have to be met for proper care. I am a stay at home parent, which allows a lot of flexibility. One hand washes another; your pet is cared for, and I'm given motivation to get more exercise! I have a large completely fenced in yard. It is well maintained, and always has shade/water. Your pup or kitty will have free run of my 1500 Sq ft house (another 1500 Sq ft in an unfinished basement I keep the door closed to unless supervised), including being allowed to come on the furniture/beds, unless you say otherwise. I am 100% caretaker in all that I do. I am a full time homemaker with 2 boys, 7 and 16; with my husband, we are a solid family of 4 that all love animals of every kind. My schedule allows me quite a bit of flexibility to provide a conceirge style level of care, both for you and your pets. I have a completely fenced in yard that is pretty large. I'm very protective of any animal under my care, so I mostly keep them indoors with me until it's time to potty, go on a walk or play in the yard for a bit; in those instances, I keep a close eye, as well as make sure I'm cognizant of the time they've been outdoors/current weather. I am very careful to adhere to any/all instructions given, and if allowed to give treats freely, I only buy the best for my guests. I have 2 kennels if needed, but prefer to have your fur baby cuddle on the couch with me.

They were incredibly kind, flexible, and accommodating. Since they have dogs of their own, Finn had plenty of playtime and came home happy and completely worn out—just like he does after staying at a boarding facility, but for a fraction of the cost.
