“TL;DR: Myia was so fantastic with our cats that we rebooked her while the current booking was still ongoing! I'm so glad we found her! She spent an hour a day with our 2 cats for two weeks. She was very communicative and punctual. I had mild separation anxiety leaving the cats for so long, but Miya sent great photos and updates every day that made me feel so much better! During her visits, apart from her usual duties, she also cleaned up an accident near the litter box and brought it 2 packages that we had mistimed to be delivered during our travel. She also found a rogue vitamin pill on the floor and made sure the cats wouldn't have access to it in case it was toxic. She gave lots of loving to our social cat and listened to my suggestions on how to get the anti-social one to open up to her. Just a rockstar all around! I take safety and trust very seriously; we have a very short list of people we trust with our fur babies, so when your pup stays with us, we are attentive and keep a watchful eye on their moods, body language, eating and bathroom patterns, etc. We want all animals to be treated with the same care and presence we give ours. If something ever feels off, I’ll reach out and communicate with you right away. We take extra note of how they are settling in for the first few days and will work with you to get them adjusted. We like to keep all the animals in eyesight, to ensure everyone is accounted for and comfortable. Leia and Arlo follow us everywhere, so where they go the other dogs usually follow suit. We change out water fountains daily (using filtered water from the fridge), and have multiple running water fountain stations throughout the house. I sweep and vacuum every two days so pups don’t have access to anything unsafe on the floor. My city requires dogs to be on leash in public areas, and I personally feel safest keeping your dog leashed during our potty breaks and walks. I do have a fenced yard, but there is no locking gate, so dogs are only allowed out there with one of us present. I generally avoid dog parks due to concerns around illness and unpredictable behavior from unfamiliar dogs. We regularly meet up with trusted, well-socialized dogs pup friends for backyard playdates. We have a park right across the street and a huge school field that is great for play.

My dog growing up lived to be 16 years old so I do have experience caring for a senior dog, administering meds, and being extra mindful of their physical limits. One of our fur babies is really prone to ear infections, so we are also familiar with giving ear drops, cleaning, and giving antibiotics for that. We have had both of our fur baby since they were puppies, so we know how that can be too and how much love, patience, and attention they require to be properly stimulated. We did have cats as well growing up, I don’t have any of my own, but I do also enjoy how relaxing cats can be with their more mellow personalities as they get older, but still super playful with the right toys. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner and Chris works from home. We both love animals, and would love to get to know your family. Both of us work full time doing 10 hour shifts, but we work different hours and different days commonly, so between the two of us, we can always coordinate a visit in the morning and the evening, the only drop in that might be more difficult to arrange is something in the middle of the day. About: While I mainly have experience caring for farm animals, I love dogs and cats just the same and will be sure they are taken care of and their needs are met! Monday - Thursday I have school 3pm - 10pm so mornings and late nights works best. Friday - Sunday I am available to work all day! About: I love birds and have experience taking care of my own pet parrots. I have a green cheek conure and an Indian ringneck that are bonded and living their best lives. You can trust me to take care of your birdies while you are away. Please contact me so we can go over protective requirements that will be necessary before I can safely board your bird. I currently work from home as I have a shipping business. I have time to ensure your pets are happy and healthy in my extra time. My birds are housed in a large cage and always have access to fresh food and water. They are served special fruit and veggie chop daily. I use Lafebers nutriberries and pellets for my birds. Please provide any food you wish me to provide your pet while they stay with me so that they will feel comfortable. I can, in addition, provide fresh chop for your birdy everyday if you would like. At this time I require that they be housed in their own cage to provide them more comfort. This may limit the size of bird that I can board, as large birds tend to have much larger and stationary cages.

About: I have had animals in my family ever since I was a young child. I absolutely adore dogs and feel that they bring such love and happiness to every home. I would love to watch your pet so that you can go to work or on vacation and feel comfortable that someone is loving your pet just as much as you do. I work from home 3 days a week and I spend most weekends at home. I am available to feed, walk, cuddle, love and take your pets out often to show them that they are cared for. Animals get anxiety, just like we do. I have a very quiet, comfortable home for animals. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex with lots of grass and places to walk. I have a balcony for your pet to sit out on in order to get some fresh air all day long. My home is safe, clean and all of my furniture is pet friendly.

About: I grew up with 5 German Shepards and horses on my families property in Australia. Our home has been blessed with Akitas the last 15 years. I am passionate about all animals and treat them as part of my family. I have experience administering vaccines and medications if needed. I am comfortable caring for your animal with specific needs. I am looking forward to expanding my passion for all animals to care for your family members. I currently work from home with a very relaxed schedule. Your pet will be with me all day. Easy access to water and food as well as exercise in a large fenced yard. Pets can hang with me inside a warm calm space too. Pets will feel cozy and warm inside our home, where they'll have plenty of attention and places to relax. They can also have freedom to roam outside in the fully fenced yard.
