“Allison was as usual outstanding at taking care of our kitties! We thank you so much for taking care of them so well , we trust no one but you and your amazing service !!!”

“Lindsay was absolutely wonderful with Dylan. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable, cared for, and getting plenty of attention during her visit. Dylan can be a sensitive guy, and it meant so much to know he was in such kind and capable hands while I was away. She was thoughtful, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. I came away feeling completely at ease knowing Dylan had been so well looked after. I would trust Lindsay with him anytime and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pets.”

About: We’re Diana and Lauren, and we’ve been caring for dogs for many years. As a team, we’ve looked after dogs with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and care needs. We’ve cared for multiple dogs at the same time, including those with special diets, medication schedules, exercise routines, and dogs who simply needed extra patience, attention, or affection. We understand that every dog is different, and we take the time to learn their routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Our home is a great place for dogs to relax and have fun. We have a spacious, fully fenced backyard where they can safely play and explore, as well as a beautiful park right behind our house that’s perfect for daily walks, exercise, and plenty of sniffing adventures. Whether your pup loves to stay active or prefers a quieter day filled with cuddles, we’ll make sure they receive the care, attention, and love they deserve. Since we're a two-person pet care team! One of us works from home full-time, so your pet will have plenty of company, attention, and care throughout the day. Together, we make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. We want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and right at home while they’re with us. We live in a spacious house with plenty of room to relax and play, plus a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely enjoy the outdoors. Our neighborhood is very pet-friendly, and we’re lucky to have a large park right behind our home, making it easy to go on fun walks, get some exercise, and enjoy lots of fresh air.
“I couldn’t be happier with the care my cat received! Jennifer has gone above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect while I was away. She sent me updates with pictures and it was clear my cat felt comfortable and loved. The litter box was spotless when I got home, and my cat seemed relaxed and happy — no stress at all! It’s such a relief to have someone so reliable and caring. I’ll definitely be booking with Jennifer again and again. Highly recommend! 🐾”

Comfortable with dogs of all sizes, bunnies, ferrets, birds, etc. I work from home so your pet won't feel lonely. Available for boarding any day of the week. “Callie was amazing! I had booked last minute travel and needed someone to watch Gracie. I haven’t left Gracie for nearly 3 years and was very nervous to do so. Callie was very quick to respond, kept me updated with lots of pics, and took such great care of Gracie. She’s an absolute angel.”

“We are so glad we found Makenna! She was quick to communicate, sent photos, and let us know when our pups got into some things they shouldn't have in the house. Our travel plans ended up being extended last minute and Makenna was willing to work with us on our additional needs. Truly a 5 star experience and we're thankful for her help! - Wrigley, Frank, and Nugget”

“Samantha was exceptionally caring and kind. She goes above and beyond to ensure your fur baby is taken care of. She did a wonderful job caring to our Bella’s needs. We will most certainly book her again in the future!”

About: Welcome to Wiggly Butt Retreat, where dogs are spoiled, snuggled, and adored. I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare designed to feel less like traditional boarding and more like staying with someone your dog already knows and loves. I am generally home throughout the day, so my guests get plenty of attention, affection, playtime, outdoor breaks, and, of course, naps and cuddles. I intentionally keep things small and personal. I mostly care for one dog/household at a time. If I do take more than one, it's always discussed with owners and I'm very selective about the dogs I accept together. I consider personality, temperament, size, energy level, age, and individual needs because I want every dog in my home to feel safe and comfortable. This is not a crowded kennel or large daycare environment. It is my home, and every dog who stays here becomes part of it for a little while. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for almost 30 years. I've raised and trained my own dogs, spent about 15 years fostering and helping rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs, volunteered as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments, and completed animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services. That experience has taught me that dogs aren't one-size-fits-all. Some want to play all day. Some would happily spend the afternoon curled up next to me. Some need a little extra patience before they decide I'm trustworthy. And some need more structure, space, or reassurance to feel comfortable. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog's personality and figuring out what makes them happiest. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. My goal is for you to leave knowing they're safe, loved, understood, and probably being spoiled a little more than they'll admit when you get home. Welcome to Wiggly Butt Retreat. Cozy home, calm vibes, happy tails. I am generally home throughout the day, and I keep our daily routine flexible based on the needs of the pups staying with me. Energetic and ready to go? There will be plenty of walks, outdoor time, play, and opportunities to burn off that energy. More of a couch potato? Laid-back days, cozy naps, and couch snuggles are some of my favorite pastimes! Because I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my care exclusive/small, I'm able to get to know each pup's personality and make sure they get the right balance of activity, attention, play, and downtime. Not every dog wants to do the same thing, and that's perfectly okay. Pups are rarely left alone while staying with me. If I do need to step out, it's typically for a short period of time, usually no more than an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family and will keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. I’m home Thursday mid day-Sundays. I also normally have flexibility with my weekly routine, as well as a husband and teen to help. I have a fully fenced backyard and two fur babies. A blue healer and a mini springerdoodle. Your pet will be cared for like one of my own in a safe, loving home. I provide supervised playtime, regular potty breaks, plenty of exercise, fresh water, and lots of affection while following your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible.
“Amanda is very friendly and professional. She took good care our fur baby while we were out and played with her to keep her company. She also communicated well with us, reporting issues with our dog or house. She is ver trustworthy. Highly recommend!”

“We are so incredibly grateful for the love and care our senior boy received during his drop-in visit! He has some mobility issues, and she was so patient and attentive, physically assisting him when he went out to the bathroom so he wouldn't slip or fall. She handled his lunch and medication perfectly, and most of all, she showered him with genuine affection. It is clear she truly loves animals, especially the sweet seniors who need a little extra grace. We highly recommend her and will absolutely be booking again!”
“London was delightful. She helped me out in a pinch when I had to go on a sudden work trip and I am forever grateful to have found her. She communicates often and really put my heart and mind at ease. She took great care of my kitties. I 💯 recommend and look forward to having her watch my boys again.”

“Myia has done a fantastic job. She leaves detailed notes on each visit and sends pictures of my dogs. My dogs like having her visit and Myia does a great job at meeting the needs of my dogs.”

“Kayla was the best! She played with Gus and took the best pictures ❤️ When we would leave and tell Gus that Kayla was coming to see him he wagged his tail. Kayla was very prompt and accommodating at the very last minute. We can’t thank her enough for her help.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities, from energetic puppies to mellow seniors. I’m patient, dependable, and make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I pay attention to routines and special needs, whether that means extra walks, medication, or quiet cuddle time. I’m also experienced with anxious pets and use calm, consistent energy to help them feel at ease. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I enjoy staying active, so walking dogs or checking in for playtime is something I look forward to every day. My schedule is flexible, which means I can adjust visits and walks around each pet’s needs, whether it’s a consistent morning walk, afternoon playtime, or evening check-in. I always make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care, no matter how busy the week is. When I care for pets, safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions before each visit. In a client’s home, I keep everything clean, secure, and consistent with how the pet is used to living, which means sticking to their feeding schedule, regular walks, and familiar play routines. I always double-check doors, leashes, and gates, and I never leave pets unattended outside. I believe in building trust through patience, respect, and gentle communication, so your pet feels comfortable and happy the whole time you’re away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
