“TL;DR: Myia was so fantastic with our cats that we rebooked her while the current booking was still ongoing! I'm so glad we found her! She spent an hour a day with our 2 cats for two weeks. She was very communicative and punctual. I had mild separation anxiety leaving the cats for so long, but Miya sent great photos and updates every day that made me feel so much better! During her visits, apart from her usual duties, she also cleaned up an accident near the litter box and brought it 2 packages that we had mistimed to be delivered during our travel. She also found a rogue vitamin pill on the floor and made sure the cats wouldn't have access to it in case it was toxic. She gave lots of loving to our social cat and listened to my suggestions on how to get the anti-social one to open up to her. Just a rockstar all around! My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

About: Privately insured. I’ve always had many different kids of pets and I’m comfortable with large and small breed dogs as well as cats. I have a large three level townhome with a four year old husky mix and some awesome teenage kids to play with if your baby is ready for some fun. I have plenty of space inside, as well as options for kennels. We do twice daily long walks if the weather is good, and plenty of short potty breaks throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule and I can give your pets attention, play time and potty breaks as needed. About: I love animals and have been around them my entire life. My first job when I turned 16 was at a dog daycare and I was quickly promoted to assistant manager. I’ve taken classes on pet CPR, have experience with nervous dogs, and know the proper way to accommodate them. I have never met a dog I did not like. About: A couple who have two of the best fur-babies on the planet and would love to help you out with yours! My dog growing up lived to be 16 years old so I do have experience caring for a senior dog, administering meds, and being extra mindful of their physical limits. One of our fur babies is really prone to ear infections, so we are also familiar with giving ear drops, cleaning, and giving antibiotics for that. We have had both of our fur baby since they were puppies, so we know how that can be too and how much love, patience, and attention they require to be properly stimulated. We did have cats as well growing up, I don’t have any of my own, but I do also enjoy how relaxing cats can be with their more mellow personalities as they get older, but still super playful with the right toys. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner and Chris works from home. We both love animals, and would love to get to know your family. Both of us work full time doing 10 hour shifts, but we work different hours and different days commonly, so between the two of us, we can always coordinate a visit in the morning and the evening, the only drop in that might be more difficult to arrange is something in the middle of the day. Chris works from home and I work 10 hour shifts 3 times a week. We are both excellent at following instructions and will follow whatever care needs your fur babe requires. We just want to understand what will make everyone feel safe and comfortable.

I mostly care for one dog/household at a time. If I do take more than one, it's always discussed with owners and I'm very selective about the dogs I accept together. I consider personality, temperament, size, energy level, age, and individual needs because I want every dog in my home to feel safe and comfortable. This is not a crowded kennel or large daycare environment. It is my home, and every dog who stays here becomes part of it for a little while. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for almost 30 years. I've raised and trained my own dogs, spent about 15 years fostering and helping rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs, volunteered as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments, and completed animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services. That experience has taught me that dogs aren't one-size-fits-all. Some want to play all day. Some would happily spend the afternoon curled up next to me. Some need a little extra patience before they decide I'm trustworthy. And some need more structure, space, or reassurance to feel comfortable. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog's personality and figuring out what makes them happiest. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. My goal is for you to leave knowing they're safe, loved, understood, and probably being spoiled a little more than they'll admit when you get home. Welcome to Wiggly Butt Retreat. Cozy home, calm vibes, happy tails. I am generally home throughout the day, and I keep our daily routine flexible based on the needs of the pups staying with me. Energetic and ready to go? There will be plenty of walks, outdoor time, play, and opportunities to burn off that energy. More of a couch potato? Laid-back days, cozy naps, and couch snuggles are some of my favorite pastimes! Because I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my care exclusive/small, I'm able to get to know each pup's personality and make sure they get the right balance of activity, attention, play, and downtime. Not every dog wants to do the same thing, and that's perfectly okay. Pups are rarely left alone while staying with me. If I do need to step out, it's typically for a short period of time, usually no more than an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

About: Hello! My name is Amber. I have had pets almost my entire life (since the age of 5) and helped my family care for them, including kittens! Currently, I have two dogs and two cats who are very lovable and sweet. In the past, I have watched family member's, friend's, and coworker's pets for them while they were away. This has involved both the pet staying with me or me going to the person's house to visit. I will take your pet for a walk, feed them, give them water, give them love, clean up after them (yes, even the litter box), whatever you need! I will also send you pictures of your pet while you are away, because I know how important they are to you! I look forward to meeting both you and your pet.
About: I used to be a foster for Rescue Rovers. I've had experience with many different breeds that would come each with their own training issues I'd need to work on before finding them their forever home. I grew up with small breeds and for the last 12 years have had my own sweet boxers. I currently work from home so I am able to be here all day with your pet and give them the attention that they need I have a fenced yard with a doggy door so your pup can go in and out as they please. If needed I can crate them and have a large one I can provide.
