Hi! I’m Mercadez, and animals have always been at the heart of my life. I have years of hands on experience caring for pets, everything from feeding and watering to administering medications, giving baths, trimming nails, and making sure each animal gets the love and attention they deserve. I’m also a proud pet parent myself and I know firsthand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your fur baby. From playful puppies to gentle seniors, I’m comfortable with all personalities and temperaments, and I believe in treating every pet like family. When your pets are with me, you can expect plenty of love, playtime, and fresh air adventures. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, or just companionship while you’re away, I’ll make sure they’re safe, happy, and cared for, so you can feel completely worry free. I live in Daybreak, which is an incredibly dog-friendly community with a variety of parks, both dog specific parks of different sizes and recreational parks perfect for walks and playtime. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I make sure to follow their normal routines so pets feel comfortable and secure. This includes feeding on schedule, fresh water, bathroom breaks, medication if needed, and plenty of love and attention. I also make sure they get daily exercise suited to their age and energy level, whether that’s a stroll through the neighborhood, a trip to one of the local parks, or some fun playtime at home. My goal is always to keep them safe, happy, and feeling loved while you’re away.

Mercadez is absolutely wonderful! She has cared for my two dogs, Olaf and Maggie, as well as my two cats, Lycan and Jenny, whenever I’m out of town, and I always feel at ease knowing they’re in her hands. She is incredibly loving, attentive, and responsible—treating them like her own. I love that she not only makes sure they’re happy and well cared for, but she has also taken beautiful, artistic photos of them that I’ll treasure forever. I highly recommend Mercadez to care for my pets anytime i need someone to. She is on time and loves my dogs in a way that I want my pets to be cared for when I am not present. She has been trustworthy throughout the entire process and I have enjoyed having her as a repeat service provider here! Also, she's kind and an overall joy so it's a win-win here!
Mercadez is perhaps one of the most kindhearted people I've ever met, and is someone who cares for all animals big and small. At one point I roomed with her and 2 others, and without prompt or hesitation, she started caring for our roommates cat as soon as they brought him through the door, and cared and pampered him up until it was his time to go. She is incredibly responsible, caring, and big-hearted, and without a doubt I would trust her to give the utmost care and love to any pet.

I’ve seen firsthand how patient, loving, and attentive she is, whether it’s walking a dog, playing with a cat, or making sure pets are safe and comfortable. She’s the type of sitter who goes above and beyond, sending updates, noticing little changes in behavior, and making sure pets feel loved while their owners are away. She’s dependable, responsible, and treats every animal like her own. Any pet parent would be lucky to have her watching over their furry family members.

Schedule
I work full-time, so my Rover availability is consistent around my work schedule. I love doing Rover on the side because it gives me the chance to spend more time with amazing pets and give them lots of attention and care. It’s the best part of my week! I’m available Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 AM–4:30 PM, and Thursday from 11:00 AM–2:30 PM. Please send me a message to inquire about timing for Monday or Tuesday as times vary. If my schedule ever changes, I’ll always let you know in advance!
