Hi, my name is Danielle. I’m a passionate, knowledgeable, and experienced animal caregiver with a commitment to providing exceptional care for your pets and giving pet parents peace of mind. Any animal in my care is treated as they are my own! Nothing makes me happier than when I become best friends with any animal! I grew up in an animal loving family with dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, guinea pigs, and a horse. Once I hit middle school years, I was asked by neighbors and friends to pet sit when needed. The pet sitting job that stands out during that time was when I took care of my neighbors four cats (they really loved their wet food)! Currently, I have two dogs, a cat, and two lizards, a leopard gecko and bearded dragon. And since graduating college, I’ve worked in the animal industry for 8 years. At Petco and PetSmart, I learned not only about dog and cat needs and behaviors, but also how to care for more exotic pets such as lizards, snakes, turtles, chameleons, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, parakeets, small parrots, finches, doves, etc. I’ve also had the opportunity to take care of these animals outside of the stores with past clients and family members pets. I've worked at a dog hotel for a year and a puppy store too, getting experience on how to clean kennels properly and medication administering. For the last three years before I came to Rover, I’ve worked as a dog walker and pet sitter with another company. I took small packs of dogs on an hour hike, walked dogs in their neighborhoods or took them to requested trails, and pet sat for numerous household with dogs, cats, and exotic pets. I’ve received five-star reviews before for my quality of work and been requested to pet sit and take dogs for their walks again for the same families, during my time with them. I’ve taken care of high energy dogs, couch potato seniors, playful cats, and much more!

I do my best to stick to your pet's schedule to keep them feeling as comfortable as possible. Keeping a stress-free, safe, and nurturing environment is my priority while your family members are in my care. I will keep their dishes full and clean, tidy up behind them, and play with them. As a pet owner, I know how important it is to be able to trust and rely on the person who will be taking care of your furry or scaly pet. I take pride in ensuring their happiness, comfort, and providing the best care. Communication, again, is essential between myself and pet parents, I will send as many updates as you'd like and I will be sending pictures during my services.

Schedule
I do my best to be accommodating to your and your pets needs when I receive your request. I will come as close to your preferred time as possible, but I can't guarantee the exact time due to my personal schedule and driving time depending on the day. It is my goal, however, to try to arrive at the exact time you ask for. I would love to be able to take your best friend on walks between the hours of 11 AM to 4 PM, Sunday through Friday. I am NOT available for Saturday walks at this time. And after their walks, if you'd like me to give them a snack or refresh their waters, I can! I can drop in for check-in's, once or multiple a day, where I can feed meals, refill water dishes, clean dishes, offer treats, give potty breaks, clean litter boxes, and give them some attention and play with them to get some energy out. And if you have other pets besides dogs and cats (or no dogs or cats), I'm happy to look after other pets too, to provide meals, maintain and clean cages, and attend to any other needs. Please let me know what time works best for you and your companions, for either walks or check-in's, and I will accommodate that as much as possible! With all of my services, I will provide updates and pictures. Communication is a priority between myself and pet parents! My services include complimentary services such as bringing in packages at the door and can turn on/off lights. If your pet has a medical need, I have experience giving oral, topical, and insulin injections for dogs and cats. Please feel free to reach out to me at any time, I am quick to respond. However, before I confirm any service, I’d like to have a meet and greet with you and your pets so we can discuss details and make sure everyone is good with the arrangements.
