“I felt very relaxed on my trip knowing that Evelyn was taking great care of my kitties. She was prompt and sent pics of them everyday! They must have felt comfortable with her because they actually came out of there hiding place!”
“I hit a home run with my 1st experience w/ Rovers.com and particularly Kara C. Kara was everything I was looking for and precisely as described by her many favorable reviews. No question I'll again be seeking Kara's services.”

About: Fully fenced property! Lifelong animal lover. I work at a local pet store where I continue to educate myself on pet health and wellness. At home, I have a fur and feather fam of dogs, cats and chickens. (Chickens are in a part of the property the pups can’t get to). I understand how scary it is to leave your loved ones while you’re away, so I make sure to give them all the loves and pets they deserve while the parents go play! High communication is key to me! I currently only work 2 small shifts a week, so I am home most days to care for your babes! We do daily walks around the school behind me and get lots of love and treats! Comfortable giving meds if needed and working with specialized diets I have a fully fenced yard and 2 friendly pups! As I have been watching friends dogs for years, my cats are used to having dogs come and go. They keep their distance with unknown pups. Any pup that visits my home gets lots of treats, lots of love and a couple new play buddies to run around the yard with!
“We had such a great experience with Christina! Throughout the stay, we received regular updates, photos, and little notes that showed just how well our dog was being looked after. It was clear our dog was happy, relaxed, and getting lots of attention, and love. We especially appreciated the reliability and professionalism, everything was handled exactly as discussed, and even a few extra thoughtful touches went a long way. Coming home to a happy, well-cared-for dog made all the difference. We would absolutely recommend Christina to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable dog sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Jessica is always willing to go out of her way and accommodate our varying schedule. She treats the pups like her own and it’s evident in how quickly they have taken to her. She has also been a great trainer for our 4momtj old puppy!”

“So amazing to have Vanessa come check on my cat! She was so accommodating and checked in with me every day! My cat loved her and she spent time with him everyday more than just coming in and feeding him. She even cleaned his litter box without me even asking her to! I will definitely rebook, she made being on a trip so much easier cause I knew my cat was well taken care of. I recommend her SO MUCH. She’s such a sweet and trustworthy person as well! So glad I booked with her!”

“Great pet sitter and communicator. Michelle has taken care of our little farm multiple times and we are always impressed and happy with how much care and attention she gives everyone.”

About: I have always been an animal lover, especially dogs and cats ever since I was little. I have taken care of many pets and have even contributed to rescuing dogs from Puerto Rico. I am currently going to school and working part-time. I have 1 in person class on Mondays and the rest are online and for work I usually work on Saturdays so I have plenty of time to take care of any pets on Tuesdays through Fridays and I can also do Sundays! I always care for a pet as they are my own. I am willing to keep each pets routine as consistent and make sure they aren’t too stressed out. In my home, my four pets have a clean environment, I always give them a lot of attention, play time, frequent exercise, and regular potty breaks. I can follow the owners instructions for feeding schedules, exercise, and any other special requirements that your pet might need. I always make sure that pets have fresh water and food, and also a comfortable place to rest. If I am caring for pets at a clients home, I make sure to always respect their space and maintain the pets daily routine. I will provide walks, playtime, feeding, litter box or yard cleanup, and a lots of loves and cuddles to the pets and make sure they are relaxed and comfortable while the owner is away. I will also send updates and pictures to keep the owners updated and let them know that their pets are happy and cared for!

About: Ive grown up around a variety of animals my entire life, from your standard cats and dogs, to rabbits and chinchillas, to turtles and ducks! I have experience taking care of pets with specific medical needs and those who have limited mobility. Ive been watching over pets both for my family and for friends for 8 years and would love to be able to help take care of your furry (or not so furry) family members! I am a recent graduate from the University of Utah and am in the process of searching for a job, so Ive decided to spend this extra time devoted to both mine and other's pets! At my own home, I have two cats. One cat has chronic pancreatitis and often needs medicine to treat her symptoms, both in pill and liquid form. The other cat is an escape artist so I know how to walk into my home with extra caution to ensure they stay inside. Both cats can be playful, so we use laser pointers, furry mice toys, and worms on a stick to make sure they get their energy out, but we make sure not to use feathers or loose strings that could be harmful if ingested. We also have plenty of scratching posts available, as well as two cat trees for them to climb and scratch to their hearts content. In the case of discipline, my husband and I use a spray bottle of water to help discourage unwanted behaviors.
“Tawny is such an above and beyond sitter. I always get great updates and photos of Ziggy, zig gets to walk with Tawny’s dog which is great for his socialization. Tawny also saw packages for me and brought them in AND set up Ziggy’s grass patch on the balcony, which honestly is a gross and unenjoyable job which Tawny did without prompting. I am really impressed, I trust Tawny completely with Zig.”

“Tiana was wonderful with my two kitties and flexible to my needs. She sent pictures every day and clearly comforted and entertained my pets while I was away. I will definitely reach out to Tiana again! :)”

“Sadie took such good care of my cat! Every day she sent updates with pictures and her care for my cat very evident in her updates. She even went above and beyond and emptied the litter box! I would recommend Sadie to anyone who wants their pet well cared for and loved while they are away.”

“Elizabeth was wonderful. She came once a day and fed our cat, scooped her litter, played with her and gave her some attention while we were on a two week vacation. She also went above and beyond when we needed her to turn off an alarm as well as she just let us know the overall status of our home. I would definitely use her again. Highly recommend.”

About: I love all types of animals! Growing up I have always had a pet and have always wanted a mini farm. Rover gives me a chance to love and care for others furr babies I’m currently working part time and when I’m not I’m at home with my own furr baby. This will give me an opportunity to care for other furr babies. I have a fenced front yard and may easily crate your pet as needed. I also have two babies of my own to keep them company.
“Alaetria took great care of our girls and was very understanding of their eccentricities. She was also a great communicator and kept us up to date! Would highly recommend!”

About: I have taken care of family and friends dogs and cats since I was about 15. I work in the veterinary field, I know how to give injections if need to be, I also know how to give medication either pill or liquid form. I work a full time job 7:30-4:30. But I am able to feed the cats or dogs before I go into work and once I get off. If need to be feed 3 times a day I do have an hour lunch so it would have to be close enough to my work so I can leave and get back in time. I am available all day on weekends watch your fur babies. I have a fenced in yard, if need to be boarded at my house my animals will most likely be staying at my parents house due to 2 of them being trouble makers 😂. I will play with them and walk them either at my house or yours. I love to see the different personalities and when they come out. I am always on watch with animals due to working in the veterinary field. I will always keep them safe

I was worried about having to go on a trip since my elderly pets need extra care but Alyssa did an amazing job and I came home to happy kitty and dog. Responded very fast, was easy to set up the check ins, and sent update photos asking the way. Would definitely recommend, thank you so much !

Aleksy did a great job looking after my cats. She took them both for walks and kept their litter boxes nice and clean. I was also pleasantly surprised to see the dishes used to feed my girls were washed when I got back. I would absolutely recommend her to look after your fur babies. ^^

Tammy was great with our two cats while we were out of town. We have a Siamese that is skiddish around people he doesn't know and he even warmed up to Tawny. Tawny showed great patience when we made a mistake on our booking dates. Will use Tawny again if available. We didn't have to worry at all while we were out of town.

This was our first time going through Abby & Rover for pet sitting services. She was very thorough with her updates & I feel confident to say our Smokey girl was in more than capable hands. Abby was very patient & Smokey warmed up to her in just a few visits. It was such a relief knowing she was getting taken care of while we were gone. Highly recommend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
