“I had to leave town for some family business and I have to admit I had some anxieties about leaving my house and 2 dogs with someone I had never met. I first meet Alex at a neighborhood park near me for a meet and greet. After the initial pleasantries I invited Alex over to my house to help familiarize her with the house. I left on my trip and the first evening Alex texted me some pictures of the dogs. It was obvious the dogs were happy, and the rest of my concerns melted away. She texted me pictures every evening while I was gone. There was some great shots. I had also agreed to have Alex clean the house while I was gone. When I did arrive home the house was shinny clean, and the dogs were happy to see me. Alex exceeded my expectations! Next time I plan on leaving town I will contact Alex and know that every thing is in good hands.”

First off all, she was very thorough in asking for our care instructions before the sit, especially on some of the trickier things about taking care of our pets. “I feel so lucky I found Alexus to dogsit for us while away visiting family. I have two lab mixes that she quickly bonded with, even my timid dog who is very weary of strangers. They were snuggling and playing together within a day or two, I was (happily) shocked! One of our dogs got sick right before we had to leave on our trip, and Alexus took such good care of her and was always willing to go the extra mile for us when our dog needed to go to the vet while we were out of town. About: I have always been an animal lover, especially dogs and cats ever since I was little. I have taken care of many pets and have even contributed to rescuing dogs from Puerto Rico. I am currently going to school and working part-time. I have 1 in person class on Mondays and the rest are online and for work I usually work on Saturdays so I have plenty of time to take care of any pets on Tuesdays through Fridays and I can also do Sundays! I always care for a pet as they are my own. I am willing to keep each pets routine as consistent and make sure they aren’t too stressed out. In my home, my four pets have a clean environment, I always give them a lot of attention, play time, frequent exercise, and regular potty breaks. I can follow the owners instructions for feeding schedules, exercise, and any other special requirements that your pet might need. I always make sure that pets have fresh water and food, and also a comfortable place to rest. If I am caring for pets at a clients home, I make sure to always respect their space and maintain the pets daily routine. I will provide walks, playtime, feeding, litter box or yard cleanup, and a lots of loves and cuddles to the pets and make sure they are relaxed and comfortable while the owner is away. I will also send updates and pictures to keep the owners updated and let them know that their pets are happy and cared for!
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old. Ive always had pets in the house and I have always had responsibilities to take care of them. Our 14 year old husky/heeler mix just crossed the rainbow bridge but we had him since he was 8 weeks old so dont worry if your babies are loud and rowdy I can handle it. I also have a sweet 2 year old corgi who is basically a toddler and a t-rex combined. I have two adorable cats who I love. I have house sat for family members for the past 5-6 years and love getting to spend time with their animals. I currently work full time but I leave early (usually around 6:30 am) and get back early (usually about 4:00pm) but weekends im all yours!! So there is plenty of time for play!
