Using the same practice of presence, intention, and curiosity that I do when creating my artwork, I do my best to observe, listen, and pay attention to the details, both big and small, that go into a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience every time your pets are with me. Since all pets have their own unique energy and personality, I take the time to engage with them on an individual level, at their own pace, while honoring daily needs and routines. I prioritize clarity, healthy structures, and maintaining a calm environment. This structure ensures that joy, play, and connection happen naturally, safely, and with peace of mind. With me, your love for your fur family always stays present even when you’re not there. *As your pet sitter, I represent you professionally within your community. I maintain the cleanliness of your home and adhere to a no-drugs or alcohol policy. I will be the sole person in your home during the service period.* 🐾 My approach: • Practicing daily grounding and regulation to provide a stable, predictable, and comforting presence for your emotionally sensitive pets. • Maintaining consistency with all house rules, respecting your home, and continuing any ongoing training you’ve established with your pet. • Providing light training and enrichment exercises to support mental stimulation, engagement, and a cooperative relationship. Treats are given in moderation and balanced with plenty of verbal praise and affection. • A safety-first approach to daily walks, play, and exercise that respects your pet’s health, limits, and needs, while closely honoring the specific guidance you provide for their care. • Embracing a learner’s mindset by asking questions rather than assuming. Investing time into a thorough process allows for learning how to best tend to your home and pets with genuine care and respect. 🐾 Experience: I’ve raised cats for 16+ years, and my current cat, Tan Tan is clicker-trained by me. She knows how to do sit, lie down, spin, kiss, paw, high-five, up, and place! I've also helped care and train a variety of dog breeds over the years, from small to medium (Shiba Inu, Dachshund, Mini Aussiedoodle, Shih Tzu). I’m comfortable with caring for larger dogs as well.
