As a full-time artist, I have a flexible schedule, so I’m happy to work with you to keep a consistent routine and be truly present with your fur babies! I typically step out for about 4-5 hours during the day (up to 6 when it suits your pet’s routine), If you require complete 24-hour care without them being left alone at all, please let me know. Depending on the length of the booking and current availability, I can provide that for an additional daily rate.

A typical day
Whether your fur kiddos are playful or prefer quiet space, I meet them where they are at. Along with keeping your pets on a consistent routine, I love creating personalized, creative playtime! For dogs, whether their favorite activity is fetch, tug-of-war, hide-and-seek, mindful walks, or puzzles, I’m right there with them. For the cutie cats, I follow their mood and engagement level. From feather wands and ribbons to bird-watching videos or trick training with treats (if they’re feeling curious and open). As a cat momma, I know playtime is just as important for them!

I recognize the faith and trust required to leave your beloved pets in someone else’s care inside your own home. Being entrusted with your family members’ well-being is a responsibility I hold with great respect. Using the same practice of presence, intention, and curiosity that I do when creating my artwork, I do my best to observe, listen, and pay attention to the details, both big and small, that go into a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience every time your pets are with me. Since all pets have their own unique energy and personality, I take the time to engage with them on an individual level, at their own pace, while honoring daily needs and routines. I prioritize clarity, healthy structures, and maintaining a calm environment. This structure ensures that joy, play, and connection happen naturally, safely, and with peace of mind. With me, your love for your fur family always stays present even when you’re not there. *As your pet sitter, I represent you professionally within your community. I maintain the cleanliness of your home and adhere to a no-drugs or alcohol policy. I will be the sole person in your home during the service period.* 🐾 My approach: • Practicing daily grounding and regulation to provide a stable, predictable, and comforting presence for your emotionally sensitive pets. • Maintaining consistency with all house rules, respecting your home, and continuing any ongoing training you’ve established with your pet. • Providing light training and enrichment exercises to support mental stimulation, engagement, and a cooperative relationship. Treats are given in moderation and balanced with plenty of verbal praise and affection. • A safety-first approach to daily walks, play, and exercise that respects your pet’s health, limits, and needs, while closely honoring the specific guidance you provide for their care. • Embracing a learner’s mindset by asking questions rather than assuming. Investing time into a thorough process allows for learning how to best tend to your home and pets with genuine care and respect. 🐾 Experience: I’ve raised cats for 16+ years, and my current cat, Tan Tan is clicker-trained by me. She knows how to do sit, lie down, spin, kiss, paw, high-five, up, and place! I've also helped care and train a variety of dog breeds over the years, from small to medium (Shiba Inu, Dachshund, Mini Aussiedoodle, Shih Tzu). I’m comfortable with caring for larger dogs as well. Betty was absolutely fantastic and we already have plans to book her again. She has dog training certification and brushed up the older dogs on their skills, and taught the younger one some great basics. She walked them and kept them busy with enrichment activities. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter.
Betty did an amazing job. I never had to worry or wonder. Timely updates and pictures throughout the day. She did training sessions, photo shoots and basement hide and seek! I think the dogs were disappointed when we came home. 🤣🤣
This Pet/House sitter was amazing! She took photos and videos of our dogs and sent them to us with an update on all the activities they did. She taught them tricks and they were so well loved. You should use Betty, especially if you care about your dogs care.
