About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with years of experience raising and caring for dogs. I come from a warm, family‑focused environment and have raised several children, which has taught me patience, calmness, and attentiveness; which are qualities that naturally extend to the pets I care for. Your four‑legged companion will be treated like family, with consistent routines, gentle guidance, and a safe, loving atmosphere. When your dog is with me, they’re not just being watched, they’re being welcomed! I send regular updates, photos, and videos so you always know your pet is safe and happy Because my home runs on a steady, family‑friendly routine, caring for pets blends seamlessly into my day. I’m already used to managing schedules, staying attentive, and keeping a peaceful environment — all of which help me give your dog reliable, loving care from morning to night. At my home I have a fully fenced yard with plenty of space to play and be active. I offer plenty of one‑on‑one attention, and a peaceful atmosphere. Dogs are supervised, kept comfortable, and treated like part of the family throughout their stay. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions exactly as given. I maintain the dog’s normal routine to help them feel secure; including feeding, walks, playtime, and any medication needs. I keep the home tidy, communicate clearly, and ensure the pet receives consistent, attentive care. My goal is to make your dog feel comfortable while keeping your home just the way you left it.

I’m experienced introducing dogs safely and can separate or crate as needed based on temperament and owner preference. I maintain a structured, low-stress environment and closely supervise all interactions. I follow owner instructions carefully, including feeding routines, medications, and activity levels. Clean, secure, and safety-focused at all times.

About: If you are reading this, you don’t need to go elsewhere. While you are away your baby will have their own poochcation. I’ve been a pooch fur baby lover since I was a kid however my dad never let me have any. When I turned 18 i moved out and rescued my now pooch. Anywho I have babysat my friend’s/family pooches ever since! I know how nerve wrecking it is to leave your baby with someone they may not know. I will send pics, videos spoil your baby that they will think they are on vacation themselves. I have repeat pawrents that keep bringing their babies back. I work from home and have 1 little senior fur Yorkie with me. We take walks multiple times a day, go to the dog park and love taking him on car rides. I currently have a 11 year old pooch that lives with my husband and I. If you bring your baby for boarding they will have a bath (if you request)with no extra charges. We only use the very best shampoos for the fur babies. I have experience with giving meds, shots, cpr, what to do in case of a seizure or choking etc. I work from home so I’m at home all day long along with my little fur baby. We love living good and enjoy walks and play time. I live in a townhome your fur babies will always be on a leash as their safety is my number one priority they’ll be happy and comfortable with me.
“Jacky has been regularly walking my dog the past couple of weeks and she has done a phenomenal job with providing loving care and walks around the neighborhood. When my dog wasn't feeling well, Jacky gave a detailed report and helped with cleaning up which was greatly appreciated! Thank you so much for all you do!!”

About: With 15 years as a professional groomer and ongoing pet sitting experience, I’ve worked with all kinds of pets and personalities. I treat every animal like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to be available most days and times. I occasionally do DoorDash and babysit on Mondays and Tuesdays, but I prioritize and plan around my pet sitting commitments. I care for pets in their own home where they feel safest and most relaxed. I follow your pet’s routine closely—meals, walks, playtime, and medications if needed—and make sure they get plenty of attention and affection. I treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I would my own.

About: *I currently have a 4 year old, neutered male, Border Collie mix* (If booking for 4 days or more, I prefer to bring him with me. If it's less than 4 days I can work with leaving him at home.) I've had dogs in my life since I was about 8 years old. My mom bred our dogs and I would help her. I helped to birth the puppies, feed and wash them, weigh them and track their progress, train and care for them. Since I was 18 I've adopted six dogs. One of them was deaf and blind when I adopted her. I've never been the first home for any of my doggos but I've been the best/most loving final home for all of them. I work part time and have plenty of time to spend with animals. I usually take my dog out for a stretch/potty every couple of hours and we walk at least once a day. I'm constantly looking for new parks and fun places to play. I have a three year old Border Collie mix that gets along well with other dogs and cats. The yard is fenced but there's no doggy door. I have some crates of various sizes if needed. The fur babies are allowed on the bed and all of the furniture at my house. I frequently pet/house sit for a Pitbull mix and she's one of my dogs besties. She has medication and a special diet. I've also frequently had my dad's dogs visit. So my dog is used to both having separate food and sharing in a communal pack. Whenever we pet/house sit we follow their house rules (i.e. - no dogs on the furniture or in the kitchen, etc). I'm trusted with keys to multiple homes and never stop by unless asked to.
“Crimson is a natural with animals, especially Benji! Every time they go on walks and to the dog park, Benji comes back happy and energized. He’s even learning to walk better and not pull so much because Crimson is teaching him. Can’t recommend enough!”

I often dog sit two mini aussies when their people go out of town. and the last two years I have regularly walked my nephew's black lab. sadly he recently passed and I am missing my walking buddy. I'd love to take your fur baby out for a stroll! I have a part time job with a flexible schedule. I'm available for short notice walks as well as a set routine, whether you need me just once a week or more often. sadly our pets have passed so we don't have any of our own at the moment, but I have all the means to take care of yours!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Edgemont Park
My dog loves to pull and has broken out of his harness many times. I'm very hesitant letting new people walk him. Lucy was great and was able to walk my dog while keeping him safe. They are also great at reading dog body language and let my stubborn dog warm up to them which was very helpful for my dog

Jacky has been regularly walking my dog the past couple of weeks and she has done a phenomenal job with providing loving care and walks around the neighborhood. When my dog wasn't feeling well, Jacky gave a detailed report and helped with cleaning up which was greatly appreciated! Thank you so much for all you do!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
