About: I have experience with large dogs, small dogs, cats, and many other animals. I currently own a Saint Bernard and I groom him on my own. I’m happy to provide that as a service. My husband works from home, so you will have someone there nearly 24/7. We have a dog door for times we are not home if you feel comfortable with that. Otherwise we can use your crate or have your dog loose in the house. Our children play baseball and we spend a lot of weeknights at the ball park, so we may need to leave your friend home for a few hours on weeknights through the end of May. I have a fully fenced in yard and a dog door that leads into it. We have 2 friendly dogs that would love to help socialize young dogs. We’re happy to go on walks and take your friend on adventures with us if you are comfortable with that. I have 3 boys who will enjoy spending time playing with your friends. About: When people think of me, they think of animals. I have a genuine love for dogs. I have worked in a dog bakery, baking your babies special treats and can do the same per request while watching them. There will be plenty of walks, outdoor time, play, and opportunities to burn off that energy. More of a couch potato? Laid-back days, cozy naps, and couch snuggles are some of my favorite pastimes! Because I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my care exclusive, I'm able to get to know each pup's personality and make sure they get the right balance of activity, attention, play, and downtime. Not every dog wants to do the same thing, and that's perfectly okay. Pups are rarely left alone while staying with me. If I do need to step out, it's typically for a short period of time, usually no more than an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

“Logan was friendly, and it was a real plus that he's home full-time and able to give Theo (an anxious dog who can't be left alone) company rather than leaving him solo. His yard is sizable and fenced, which mattered given that his home sits directly off a busy main road. One thing I'd recommend: ask upfront how often you'd like pup updates. This was my first time with Logan, and I prefer proactive updates, so my lesson learned for next time is to communicate that expectation before the stay starts. To his credit, Logan was responsive whenever I reached out. Logan also let me know he doesn't walk dogs due to the busy road in front of his home, which seemed different from what the profile implied about a nearby trail. Theo came back noticeably dustier and very thirsty than usual, and given his Addison's disease along with all the above, I decided it wasn't the right fit to move from a day care session into a 5 night stay. Overall a kind sitter, but I'd suggest a test day care visit first to see the space and get a feel for the care before committing to a longer stay.”
“M.K. And their partner are always fantastic! They are always so accommodating to late requests and time changes. Sprout has stayed with them for day care and boarding when we were out of town. I plan to use them when we go on a Europe trip later this year. While I do think there could be a bit better communication I also recognize that M.K has a life too and I think that a lot of these reviews fail to see M.K. as a human just as we her clients are. So ultimately I don’t see any negatives to having my boy, Sprout, stay with them. I really cannot say enough high praises about M.K and their partner. Sprout is always super excited to see them! He always comes home well socialized and exercised. I know he is getting plenty of enrichment and love while there, and so so much fun! I love the photos I get everytime he’s with them, especially when he’s boarded there while we are out of town missing him! The daily photos really gives us assurance. Sprout is a very energetic dog and I truly feel that they are able to help him get all of his energy out in a healthy fun way. I’ve tried other dog day cares before and sprout always came back filthy and TOO exhausted, it was worrisome. He’d come back with wounds as well. I never have to worry about any of that with M.K. They are able to help my boy pace himself and take rests when he needs them. I really feel that the negative reviews are harsh. I cannot recommend M.K. Enough and I am incredibly grateful we have found them! We and Sprout will definitely be a life client!”

About: My family has always had a dog. Since I was young I’ve helped care for them. Now I‘ve had a dog of my own since 2020 and I love her to death. I house trained her myself and taught her a few tricks. She loves going on hikes, swimming and playing fetch. She’s extremely spoiled. I work from home full time so will be with the dogs all days long. My schedule is very flexible so I can take them for walks and bathroom breaks as often as needed. I have a 6 year old female dog who is very calm and will keep your dog company. I have a long leash out back that I can let the dogs out and keep them close to the house. It’s not fenced but it is private.
About: I've been with Rover for a few years and i just love it! I've taken care of cats, dogs and even chickens. It's a place great way to meet critters. Not experienced in training, sadly. I'm currently looking for a part time job. So I have plenty of time playing with your fur babies. I am currently available for doggy day care as well. I’ve been a pooch fur baby lover since I was a kid however my dad never let me have any. When I turned 18 i moved out and rescued my now pooch. Anywho I have babysat my friend’s/family pooches ever since! I know how nerve wrecking it is to leave your baby with someone they may not know. I will send pics, videos spoil your baby that they will think they are on vacation themselves. I have repeat pawrents that keep bringing their babies back. About: I’ve always grown up with dogs in my home and before finishing my bachelor’s degree, I graduated from a community college for Veterinary Assisting. I have administered medications, assisted vets with bandaging and cleaning, have taken care of boarding dogs at a clinic among many other daily duties of being a Veterinary Assistant. About: *I currently have a 4 year old, neutered male, Border Collie mix* (If booking for 4 days or more, I prefer to bring him with me. If it's less than 4 days I can work with leaving him at home.) I've had dogs in my life since I was about 8 years old. My mom bred our dogs and I would help her. I helped to birth the puppies, feed and wash them, weigh them and track their progress, train and care for them. Since I was 18 I've adopted six dogs. One of them was deaf and blind when I adopted her. I've never been the first home for any of my doggos but I've been the best/most loving final home for all of them. I work part time and have plenty of time to spend with animals. I usually take my dog out for a stretch/potty every couple of hours and we walk at least once a day. I'm constantly looking for new parks and fun places to play. I have a three year old Border Collie mix that gets along well with other dogs and cats. The yard is fenced but there's no doggy door. I have some crates of various sizes if needed. The fur babies are allowed on the bed and all of the furniture at my house. I frequently pet/house sit for a Pitbull mix and she's one of my dogs besties. She has medication and a special diet. I've also frequently had my dad's dogs visit. So my dog is used to both having separate food and sharing in a communal pack. Whenever we pet/house sit we follow their house rules (i.e. - no dogs on the furniture or in the kitchen, etc). I'm trusted with keys to multiple homes and never stop by unless asked to.

“Andrea was communicative throughout our dogs’ stay and kept us updated. There was an incident where one of our dogs damaged the blinds while trying to get through an open window, which was concerning and unusual behavior for her. Andrea let us know what happened and said her husband was able to fix the blinds. Our dogs were safe when we picked them up, and we appreciated the communication during their stay.”

She is so flexible and accommodating and Mishka gets a long so well with her dogs and fam! We will 100% be using her again next time we are in town!”
“Genny and her family were great care takers for our Bentley. She sent pictures and video several times a day and was very communicative and responsive while we were gone. Genny took Bentley for regular walks and has a very friendly dog that allowed them to play in get out there puppy energy on a regular basis. It was a great experience considering this was our first time using Rover and would recommend Genny to any one looking for a good pet sitter and to ensure that their animals are well taken care of and loved while gone.”
