Hi! I’m Kimberly. I’ve had the privilege of caring for pets with all kinds of personalities, routines, and needs. My specialty is caring for pets in their own home, where they can stay comfortable, relaxed, and surrounded by everything that’s familiar to them. Animals have always been my passion. If you ask the people closest to me what truly lights me up, the answer is always the same—animals. Caring for them doesn’t feel like work to me. I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and building a relationship based on trust. I feel incredibly lucky that Rover allows me to spend my time doing something that means so much to me. One thing that sets me apart is how I approach animals. I truly believe they’re always communicating with us—it just looks different than human communication. I enjoy learning each pet’s unique body language, routines, and little quirks so I can care for them in the way that makes them feel safest, happiest, and most understood. Every pet is different, and I love figuring out what makes each one feel at ease. I recently moved back to Utah after spending 10 years in Washington state and work as a dental hygienist. Attention to detail, reliability, and kimdness are a huge part of who I am, and I bring those same qualities to every pet I care for. I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can truly relax and enjoy your time away, knowing your pets and home are in good hands. I have a wonderful 10-year-old dog named Moki, who actually grew up as a Rover dog! Because of that, she’s exceptionally well-socialized and comfortable around dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. If you’re looking for your dog to spend time with a calm, friendly companion during boarding or daycare, she’s fantastic and has helped many dogs build confidence around other dogs. That said, I never assume every dog wants company. Many of my clients prefer one-on-one care, and I’m always happy to leave Moki at home so your pet receives my complete attention. Their comfort always comes first. Whether your dog loves hiking, neighborhood walks, playing fetch, exploring the backyard, or curling up on the couch, I’ll tailor their care to fit their personality and routine. My goal is simple: to make your pets feel safe, understood, loved, and as comfortable as possible until you’re back home.

Kimberly and Michael were fantastic and took such good care of our dog!! It was our first time and we felt so comfortable and knew we were leaving our boy in the best hands!!!
We had a great experience with Kim. She watched our 3-month-old puppy in our home for almost two weeks and was absolutely wonderful. She also stayed longer for us when our second sitter canceled. She sent lots of pictures and updates, and even went above and beyond by giving our puppy a bath and brushing her teeth without us asking. She was communicative, helpful, adaptable, and professional, and was so understanding while we had floor remodeling going on. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our long trip and would have her watch our puppy again!
Wow! Michael and Kimberly were absolutely fantastic! A 10 day trip without our pup was scary at first - but Michael and Kimberly quickly put my fears at ease. I think my pup had more fun than we did! And they also took great care of our house while away as well!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kimberly. We booked the week prior for an overnight so we could take a quick trip to CO for a concert. Kimberly was friendly & communicative the week leading up to the booking and checked in the evening before. She arrived at 6:30 am with such a warm energy and immediately won the pups over. Grimm seemed instantly attached to her! It was very sweet. I was a bit worried since it was our first time using Rover, & the first time leaving the boys with someone other than their grandparents. We felt comfortable with Kimberly right off the bat and we knew our boys were in good hands. I loved that she sent lots of photos & videos while we were away & let us know how well they were doing. She followed all care instructions perfectly. She even left us beautiful flowers she cut from her garden. I would 100% trust Kimberly to care for my furbabies again in the future. I feel blessed to have found and connected with such a good human. Thank you Kimberly! 💛🐾
2nd time great experience with Michael and Kimberly! They even took our dog to the lake and taught him how to swim (and sent us videos throughout the weekend) -- how incredible is that?! They clearly love what they do and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a dog owner in need of boarding

Walks around the neighborhood and playing in the parks. We enjoy spending time both at the beach and in the forest. One of our favorite places is trail running around cougar mountain.
