Behavior-Aware Management: I handle upwards of 20 dogs at a time at my day job, including reactive and sensitive dogs. I maintain that same high standard of vigilance for your pup—reading body language, respecting personal space, and avoiding stressful triggers. Pill & Med Routines: Any oral medications, supplements, or direct pill administration are handled precisely on time. Regular Updates: You’ll get clear, detailed updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing. Working daily in a high-volume boarding and training facility means proactive safety is second nature to me. I don’t just watch dogs; I actively manage their environment to prevent stress, escape, or conflict before it happens: Door & Gate Vigilance: Strict threshold protocols to ensure no darting at exterior doors, gates, or entryways. Secure Handling: Double-checking collars, harnesses, and leashes prior to stepping outside. For reactive or flight-risk dogs, I utilize double-tethering leashes or safety clips. Trigger Management: On walks, I actively scan the surroundings to create distance from other dogs, bikes, or triggers to keep outings low-stress and controlled. Health, Medical, & Facility Knowledge Precise Med Administration: Fully comfortable and experienced with daily oral medications, supplements, and direct pilling for dogs that refuse treats. Body Language Expertise: I constantly read subtle shifts in canine body language—early signs of stress, fatigue, overarousal, or pain—and adjust accordingly. Sanitation & Freshness: High standards for cleanliness, including daily sanitized bowls, fresh water, and clean resting areas. Building Trust with You & Your Dog Tailored to Their Comfort: Whether your dog craves affection or needs distance, I let them set the pace. I never force physical contact on dogs who prefer their own space. Transparent Communication: You will receive regular photo and video updates, along with honest notes about their potty habits, meals, behavior, and overall mood. Mandatory Meet & Greet: Prior to confirming any booking, we will do a thorough meet-and-greet to walk through your dog’s specific quirks, triggers, and safety needs so everyone feels 100% confident.

I house trained her myself and taught her a few tricks. She loves going on hikes, swimming and playing fetch. She’s extremely spoiled. I work from home full time so will be with the dogs all days long. My schedule is very flexible so I can take them for walks and bathroom breaks as often as needed. I have a 6 year old female dog who is very calm and will keep your dog company. I have a long leash out back that I can let the dogs out and keep them close to the house. It’s not fenced but it is private.

About: When people think of me, they think of animals. I have a genuine love for dogs. I have worked in a dog bakery, baking your babies special treats and can do the same per request while watching them. I have had all ages of dogs from puppy to geriatric and will give each one the care they need for the stage of life they’re in. I currently am home full time with my 2 small Boston terriers. There’s a fenced back yard to play in, a doggy pool and countless toys. I have a fenced yard for your pups to run around in or relax in. About: I provide calm, home-based dog boarding designed to feel less like traditional boarding and more like staying with someone your dog already knows and loves. My guests get plenty of attention, affection, playtime, outdoor breaks, naps, and cuddles while they’re here. I intentionally keep things small and personal, caring for one dog or household at a time. My goal is simple: every dog in my home should feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for almost 30 years. I spent about 15 years fostering and helping rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs, volunteered as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments, and completed animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services. That experience taught me that dogs aren’t one-size-fits-all. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and figuring out what makes them feel happiest and most at home. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. I want you to leave knowing they’re safe, loved, understood, and probably being spoiled a little more than they’ll admit when you get home. I keep our daily routine flexible based on the needs of the pups staying with me. Energetic and ready to go? There will be plenty of walks, outdoor time, play, and opportunities to burn off that energy. More of a couch potato? Laid-back days, cozy naps, and couch snuggles are some of my favorite pastimes! Because I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my care exclusive, I'm able to get to know each pup's personality and make sure they get the right balance of activity, attention, play, and downtime. Not every dog wants to do the same thing, and that's perfectly okay. I work part-time outside the home Monday through Friday and am typically away for about 4–6 hours during the day. Before I leave, pups get plenty of time for breakfast, attention, and a potty break, and once I'm home, we're right back to our normal routine of outdoor time, play, lounging, and lots of attention. To work around my weekday schedule, Monday through Friday drop-offs and pick-ups are available before 9:30 AM or after 4:30 PM. Weekend drop-off and pick-up times are more flexible and can be arranged individually. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. There are no resident pets or young children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For their safety and comfort while I’m away from home, boarding dogs must be kennel-trained and comfortable spending a few hours relaxing in their kennel. I have kennels available for small and medium-sized dogs. If your pup requires a kennel larger than medium, please plan to bring an appropriately sized kennel for their stay. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

About: I am a nurse by trade and dog lover by heart! I have 3 big dogs of my own and 2 are seniors. I volunteer for dog rescues and host overnight stays and help transport dogs of all breeds and sizes! I would love to find a time that works to care for your pet! I have some full days off during the week and weekends! I am available most weekdays for drop ins or walks! I have a fenced back yard with room to run around and lots of toys to play with! My dogs are very friendly and love to play with other dogs!

Meghan might be an awesome dog walker and pet host, though I have not used her for those services, I will hesitate to recommend her for cat drop ins. I have used better cat sitters from Rover.”
