“I have two senior cats, one receives medication twice a day and the other one is not social. It’s been hard leaving them and finding someone that can check on them that often and also, someone who matches their energy. Kara (Charlie) has been great! She gave Martin his medication with no problems and he even jumped on her lap and wanted to snuggle. My other cat does not like loud noises or strangers, but he actually came out of hiding when she was there. Both cats are super messy when eating, but we came home and everything was taken care of. Kara was nice enough to bring in my packages before I had a chance to ask her. I will definitely be asking for Kara again next time we go out of town.”

About: I have experience with large dogs, small dogs, cats, and many other animals. I currently own a Saint Bernard and I groom him on my own. I’m happy to provide that as a service. My husband works from home, so you will have someone there nearly 24/7. We have a dog door for times we are not home if you feel comfortable with that. Otherwise we can use your crate or have your dog loose in the house. Our children play baseball and we spend a lot of weeknights at the ball park, so we may need to leave your friend home for a few hours on weeknights through the end of May. I have a fully fenced in yard and a dog door that leads into it. We have 2 friendly dogs that would love to help socialize young dogs. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. I want you to leave knowing they’re safe, loved, understood, and probably being spoiled a little more than they’ll admit when you get home. I am generally home throughout the day, and I keep our daily routine flexible based on the needs of the pups staying with me. Energetic and ready to go? There will be plenty of walks, outdoor time, play, and opportunities to burn off that energy. More of a couch potato? Laid-back days, cozy naps, and couch snuggles are some of my favorite pastimes! Because I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my care exclusive, I'm able to get to know each pup's personality and make sure they get the right balance of activity, attention, play, and downtime. Not every dog wants to do the same thing, and that's perfectly okay. Pups are rarely left alone while staying with me. If I do need to step out, it's typically for a short period of time, usually no more than an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. “M.K. And their partner are always fantastic! They are always so accommodating to late requests and time changes. Sprout has stayed with them for day care and boarding when we were out of town. I plan to use them when we go on a Europe trip later this year. While I do think there could be a bit better communication I also recognize that M.K has a life too and I think that a lot of these reviews fail to see M.K. as a human just as we her clients are. So ultimately I don’t see any negatives to having my boy, Sprout, stay with them. I really cannot say enough high praises about M.K and their partner. Sprout is always super excited to see them! He always comes home well socialized and exercised. I know he is getting plenty of enrichment and love while there, and so so much fun! I love the photos I get everytime he’s with them, especially when he’s boarded there while we are out of town missing him! The daily photos really gives us assurance. Sprout is a very energetic dog and I truly feel that they are able to help him get all of his energy out in a healthy fun way. I’ve tried other dog day cares before and sprout always came back filthy and TOO exhausted, it was worrisome. He’d come back with wounds as well. I never have to worry about any of that with M.K. They are able to help my boy pace himself and take rests when he needs them. I really feel that the negative reviews are harsh. I cannot recommend M.K. Enough and I am incredibly grateful we have found them! We and Sprout will definitely be a life client!”

I work from home so I am available to take care whatever needs your pet may have. My husband also helps with the care of the dogs with us. Our yard is fully fenced and separated by a 6 ft chain link section. If your dog wants company but isn't comfortable mingling we can offer them a chance to see the other dogs but still feel safe. We use kennels to separate at feeding time and supervise playtimes.

I house trained her myself and taught her a few tricks. She loves going on hikes, swimming and playing fetch. She’s extremely spoiled. I’ve been a pooch fur baby lover since I was a kid however my dad never let me have any. When I turned 18 i moved out and rescued my now pooch. I will send pics, videos spoil your baby that they will think they are on vacation themselves. I have repeat pawrents that keep bringing their babies back. Now that it’s Summer, we like to go on a walk or to the off leash dog parks in the AM or PM when the sun isn’t at its hottest. If the pups need additional time or brushing we like do do it just before dinner. I have a fenced yard and one friendly dog. We live near a dog park which we frequent often. There are several sections depending on dog size.
About: I am a cat lady at heart (don't have any at the moment) but I have always loved dogs just as much. I often dog sit two mini aussies when their people go out of town. and the last two years I have regularly walked my nephew's black lab. sadly he recently passed and I am missing my walking buddy. I'd love to take your fur baby out for a stroll! I have a part time job with a flexible schedule. I'm available for short notice walks as well as a set routine, whether you need me just once a week or more often. sadly our pets have passed so we don't have any of our own at the moment, but I have all the means to take care of yours!

“Mila and her husband were great! Navy enjoyed having the back yard to run around in and was walked daily in addition. They were able to take care of navy while I was gone for Christmas and kept me worry free with plenty of pics and videos and any updates. Also someone was home with them basically the entire time minus a few hours. Very organized in what they needed from me before dropping him off, did a meet and greet as well. Lastly, they allowed me to pick up my dog at late hours on Christmas night after my flight in which was very exciting to be able to see my boy as soon as I got home. Couldn’t recommend enough.”
