“My golden retriever loved Elisabeth at first sniff. She was so attentive to my dog when dropping in and very punctual. Amazing love and service when I needed the help. I will definitely book her again and I know my pup will be excited to see her as her sitter.”

“After having trouble deciding what to do, we were blessed to find Sandi. This was our first time leaving our cat and we couldn't have found a better person to watch over her. Our cat tends to be shy and wants to stay away from people, but in the short time Sandi watched over her, our cat quickly got attached to Sandi. We loved all the pictures we got while we were away. Thank you for taking care of our little Sammy.”

“We will definitely be scheduling with Arian W. again. She was extremely conscientious about taking care of our two cats, monitoring their food supply so they weren't too hungry by her next visit. She sent pictures with each visit along with taking care of a few other random things in our home while we were gone for 2 weeks. Thank you Arian, please expect to hear from us again.”

“I was very happy to have Benedicte care for my cat, Maui. She did a wonderful job and was very consistent, leaving no doubt Maui was in good hands. She is now my go-to for cat sitting and I highly recommend her to everyone!”

About: Tried to be a breeder for the Daniff breed. Mixes of Great Danes and Mastiffs. Ours happens to be the Italian mastiff (Cane Corso). We were expecting 6 puppies and had 10. I also have 3 French bulldogs at the house. So know how to care for big or small. Check with my schedule, work isn’t a set one but will try to adjust to make it work. Can’t have kids, so we naturally have 9 dogs. You can imagine it takes up a lot of our day, pretty much all dogs all the time, and one brave cat. I don’t do care at my home. I’ll do drop-ins or stay at your house. I have too many giant dogs, to bring any over.
About: I grew up on a farm caring for animals and being around dogs my whole life, so animals have always had a special place in my heart. It heals my heart a little more everytime I get to spend quality time with a furry freind. I’m happy to help with dog walks, feeding, playtime, or just keeping pets company while their owners are away I work in the evenings so I have the perfect opportunity to take your puppers out to get some sunshine, fun, human interaction, food, and a nap. Your pets safety is always my number one priority. My attention to detail is great and my heart is always fully present on the well being of these cherished souls
About: I have over 15 years of hands‑on experience caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, goats, donkeys, and other farm companions. My equine background is especially strong: I’ve been certified (through United States Pony Club) in lameness evaluation, illness recognition, safety and first aid, and proper handling and riding techniques. I am comfortable administering oral medications and following special diets. Whether your animals need daily care, specialized attention, or confident handling, they’ll be in capable, knowledgeable hands. I work from home full time doing project management for clinical trials. My schedule is very flexible so I can take many play, potty, and walk breaks. Your pet won't be waiting around for the love and attention they deserve! I care for your pets with the same attention, patience, and consistency that I would give my own. I make sure their routines stay familiar, such as feeding, playtime, medications, and comfort rituals, so they feel relaxed while you’re away. I also respect your home as part of their environment, keeping everything clean, organized, and exactly as you left it. My goal is for you to return to happy pets and a space that feels untouched.
About: I have grown up with big and small dogs and have always loved them. I make sure to be very attentive to any dog I am with, bringing them on lots of walks, and hanging with them. I am an online student with a flexible schedule. This allows me to be very attentive to your dog, lots of walks, lots of hanging nearby. I take great care of pets. I make sure they get the exercise they need, and the time spent just hanging out close by. I think most dogs love to be around people as much as they can, and I make that happen!
“Bridgette was communicative, friendly, and made sure to take her time with my two kitties! They are always sad when I’m away, but Bridgette does her best to make them feel a little less lonely :) thanks for taking care of Juno and Minnie!”

“Alayna was quick to respond and we were able to schedule a meet and greet the same day. She is super sweet and she was great with Kaiju. Will definitely use her services again.”

“Mabel is the best dog sitter we’ve ever had. She took tons of pictures and videos, brought interactive feeding mats for our boys, and was great at communicating quickly. Our dogs are so happy and relaxed around her. We will absolutely be hiring her again for future dog sitting needs.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old, when I started my own neighborhood dog-walking business. Since then, friends, family, neighbors, and referrals have trusted me with their pets, and spending time with animals continues to be one of my greatest joys. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. Whether it’s helping a puppy stay on track with crate training and routines, keeping an energetic dog active and engaged, or providing gentle, patient care for a senior dog, I tailor my approach to each pet’s unique needs. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy getting to know every dog as an individual. I understand that some dogs want long walks and adventures, while others are happiest relaxing at home with plenty of affection and companionship. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I treat every dog as if they were my own and pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and attentive. You can trust that your pet will receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, and personalized care throughout their stay. I’m currently working remotely Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule and will have plenty of time to prioritize walks and playtime depending on your dogs needs! Because I primarily offer house sitting and drop-in visits, my goal is to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine in the environment they know best. I take time to learn each pet’s schedule, preferences, feeding routine, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions before care begins. During house sits and drop-ins, I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, enrichment, and companionship while ensuring pets feel safe and secure. I keep owners updated with regular photos and messages so they can enjoy peace of mind while they’re away. I treat every home with the same respect and care I would my own and prioritize safety at all times, including secure leashing, monitoring pets outdoors, following household rules, and keeping a close eye on any changes in behavior or health. My goal is to create a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners by providing reliable, loving, and attentive care.
“Melanie was absolutely incredible! My dogs loved her so much that I'm pretty sure they have forgotten about us because she was so good to them. She also took amazing pictures that I will have forever. I couldn't have been happier with her and I would definitely use her services again.”

“Tyson was so attentive and went above and beyond for our doggies. He was always active and made us feel so comfortable leaving them with him. We got constant updates with the cutest pictures. We are so grateful to have found Tyson and our pups are too.”

“Isabelle was very reliable and polite while caring for Maui. She visited the house on a consistent schedule and was very communicative. Isabelle is a gem - incredibly trustworthy, meticulous in her duties, and an absolute delight to work with. I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone seeking a truly exceptional pet sitter.”

About: I’ve watched dogs, cats, puppies, senior dogs with medical needs, turtles, bunnies, fish, chickens, and open to all other pets! I’ve grown up around animals all my life, and continue to be a trusted and loyal sitter for my family and friends furry family members. I love taking dogs on walks, or simply hanging out on the couch catching giving lots of pets and love. I’m extremely patient and have dealt with all types of personalities with pets. I hope you chose me to take care of your pets! I work from home on Mondays and Fridays so I’m able to bring my work with me anywhere! I love going on walks throughout my day, and it’s made even better if I have a dog accompanying me. On weekends, I’ll prioritize the pets always. If they’re an energetic dog, I’ll make sure they get their energy out. If they’re more on the mellow side, I’ll make sure to spend time with them giving lots of pets and lounge next to them. If I need to leave the house for errands or workout, I try to not spend more than 2 hours aways at most. Your pet is my priority! I like to make sure I have all the info to ensure the most successful visit. If there’s any limitations on movements, or priorities of energy, I want to focus on the best time spent and that your pet is happy and safe. If I walk them, I avoid busy areas and keep them calm and safe. If we are inside, I make sure they have my attention and are getting all the love. Clear communication and expectations of what you would like will set us both up for success and happiness.
“Zanubia was super communicative and took good care of our 3 cats. She kept us up to date on which ones she saw (we have 2 that regularly hide with new people) and took cute photos of the ones she saw. Would use again and would recommend!”

“Rachel was amazing from the start of our communication thru the end of the visits with Max. She communicated well and worked with me on adding a second visit the same day, I definitely will use Rachel again!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Holladay
Kaitlyn was nice enough to drop in on my puppy three times a day while my husband and I took a little vacation. My puppy can be a handful and he proved that to be true with a few mishaps, but she handled them for us and made us feel comfortable while away. She is patient and is able to follow instructions well. We have used her a few times so if you are looking for someone reliable and good with dogs you should book with her.

I have had the privilege of having Crystal take care of my dog Lily the past couple of years, and she goes absolutely above and beyond in dog care. We have never had someone so attentive, caring, loving, and courteous. My dog can be quite shy and reserved, especially with new people, but in no time at all she was wagging her tail and squealing with excitement when it came time to hang out with Crystal. Soon after, she would perk up and start wagging her tail with a mere mention of Crystal's name! Separation anxiety can go both ways, but with Crystal I always know my dog is incredibly happy and given ample attention, love, care, exercise, and affection. From afternoon walks to week-long trips, she always takes care of my Lily as her own, and I have peace of mind knowing that Lily is in the best of hands. Thank you, Crystal, for all of your help over the years!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
