About: I grew up around many dogs in my neighborhood including my own childhood dog. They were all different and had their own unique needs. Being able to take care of so many different dogs is a huge blessing since it helps me understand a variety of problems and solutions. My dog was a shihtzu so i understand many dogs health issues and how to take car of them. I'm working part time at DreamWalk park in Orem. I am very flexible but make sure your pet is ok with being alone for 4-6 hours a day. I make sure I stick to the routine and the plan that the parents wants me to follow. I want to ensure the pet has a good time. This is not my pet and not my home, so respect for others fur babies and their private living space is priority.
About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve pet-sat for friends and family, including daily visits, walks, feeding, and overnight stays. I’m attentive to routines and take time to get to know each pet’s personality so they feel comfortable and safe. I’m patient with shy or anxious animals and happy to go at their pace. I’m reliable and communicative, and I send regular photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I take pride in keeping pets happy and homes tidy while owners are away. I’m currently not working full time, so I have lots of flexibility and availability to care for your pets within your desired schedule and routine. I am a dependable and responsible person who will follow instructions and care for your pet like it’s my own. I always try to leave the pet and the home better than I found it.

About: Hi! I’m a pre-vet student at the University of Utah with years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all sizes, including dogs, cats, chickens, and horses. I’ve grown up around animals and currently care for several pets of my own, including senior pets, so I understand how important patience and attention to detail are. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding routines, playtime, overnight house sitting, administering basic medications, and keeping pets on their normal schedule while owners are away. I also have experience with puppies, potty training, basic reinforcement training, and helping pets feel comfortable in new situations. I’m active, dependable, and love getting to know each pet’s personality. I’ll also send updates and photos so you can feel confident your pets are in good hands! I currently have a flexible schedule and am available mornings, evenings, and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. During weekdays I work from 12–3 PM, and I also have a Tuesday lab from 1–4 PM and volunteer at a barn Thursdays from 3–6 PM. Outside of those times, I’m available and happy to work with different schedules! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I have a very large fenced yard for safe outdoor time and a calm home environment. I also have chickens, a senior Miniature Pinscher, and a cat in the home. The chickens stay secured in their coop, and my cat can be kept separate if needed. My pets are very friendly and non-aggressive, and I always prioritize slow, safe introductions based on each pet’s comfort level. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any special instructions. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the home and the pet’s routine to help them feel comfortable and stress free while you’re away. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe and happy.
About: I absolutely love animals of all kinds. As a child, I was never allowed to have pets, but now as an adult I'm thrilled to be able to have the opportunity to know and love as many pets as I can! And not just dogs and cats, if you have exotic animals too that's right up my street as well. I can't wait to get to know your pet and love them (almost) as much as you do! I work part time at an escape room with flexible hours, but when I'm not at work I'll be playing with your pups! I'm available nearly every day, and am happy to rework my schedule for when you need me. I love playtime and cuddling with pets as my main focus, and am open to any specific accommodations you would like me to incorporate. Just let me know what you need and I'll make it happen!
About: I have always loved taking care of dogs! I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a dog in the home and have always been around the in and outs of dog caretaking. I raised my first puppy when I was 16 and worked at an animal shelter for 2 years. I currently have a 2 year old female Aussiedoodle that I hang out with everyday. I love taking her on long walks, playing a good game of fetch, and lots of cuddles. Your dog will be our perfect addition for the day! I work during the week, but I am home Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays. I have all day to care for and play with your pup! I have a nice, safe basement apartment with a crate or puppy pen, if needed. There is a big fenced front yard that the dogs love to play in. I am very careful with the hot summer temperatures and make sure not to keep them in the heat too long, and have plenty of water.

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats all my life! Over the years I have helped care for and train several puppies, dogs with joint issues and senior pups. I have no problem administering shots or medications if needed! I love animals of all sizes. Shy or nervous rescues are no problem! I can stay at home all day with an older pet who might just need some attention, or I can take an energetic puppy out to the dog park after our 7th walk of day to get out more energy! I’m currently working part time with a flexible schedule and I am available most days and times! House sitting, drop in visits, and walks can be done during most times of the day or night, multiple times if needed. I have a smaller apartment in the city with 2 cats living in the home, which makes house sitting, drop ins and walks ideal. I am a detail oriented caregiver and will follow any instructions given. I care for others animals as if they are my own, and respect others homes and personal spaces. I will try to mimic a pets usual routine as much as I can and keep their environment clean and comfortable.

About: We are a free play dog daycare and boarding house. New to Rover? Use code JESSIM97833 at checkout for a discount (works even if you book with another sitter!). My Pet Care Experience: I am a dog trainer and I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12, from puppies to senior pets, as well as birds, lizards, and bunnies. I have 8+ years of experience with house visits for caged pets, and I now mainly focus on dog boarding and daycare. I pay close attention to each animal’s needs—whether that’s playtime, rest, or extra comfort while they adjust. Safety is always a priority: toys and chews are never shared, and each pet is given the time and space to feel at home. As a stay-at-home mom working from home, I’m with the dogs all day. They’re never left alone for long, and I follow each owner’s feeding, sleeping, and training routines to keep pets happy and comfortable. Safety is my priority—pets are only crated for short errands, otherwise they’re free to play, relax, and feel at home. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. My fully finished basement is set up just for dogs, with safe play areas, cozy sleeping spots, and room for crates if needed. Outdoors, I have a fully fenced yard plus a secure enclosed dog run for supervised play. I never allow toy or chew sharing between pets for health reasons, and I track every dog’s meals, water, potty breaks, and playtime on a daily chart to ensure consistency and care.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Alpine
Britney was wonderful with our two dogs while we were out of town for 5 days. She walked them every morning rain or shine then came back to feed them twice each day. She was patient with our anxious Goldendoodle who struggles to eat when we are away. I loved the regular updates and pictures! She has our complete confidence in caring for our pets and we have every intention to reach out next time we go away! Thank you Britney!!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
