I work remote most of the time, so able to fit your dogs needs, and more available in the early afternoons/evenings and the weekends. Since moving to Utah, I haven’t been able to have a dog of my own and my family’s dog was back with them in Virginia (although I’ve lived with many roommates’ dogs).
