About: I have been around pets my entire life! Mainly owning dogs, but have taken care of both cats and dogs for friends and neighbors. I will treat your dog as my own and have fun along the way! I work remote most of the time, so able to fit your dogs needs, and more available in the early afternoons/evenings and the weekends. My wife and I are in a small apartment, so most of the care would be in the pet's home and I will follow whatever instructions to best take care of your pet and respect your home. I like going on walks, runs, throwing a ball and most other things to make your pet feel comfortable!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and learned early on how to read their body language, respect their boundaries, and give them the exact care they need to feel safe and happy. I love going on walks and enjoying the weather & scenery of Utah, too! I currently have a 1 yr old golden retriever, so I am comfortable with providing training and positive reinforcement while on walks for younger fur babies. But I also love taking extra time on walks for older friends to stop and smell the roses. I work full time, but I enjoy going on walks before and/or after work. I have 2 days off per week, and I have afternoon shifts a few times a week - leaving my mornings available for walks! Walking Service - I already have a little carrier for dog treats and poop bags for walks. I live in a safe area with many different walking paths to customize the length of the walk/amount of exercise needed to the dog.
About: I've been surrounded by animals for as long as I've been alive! I adore getting to be a part of their lives and help take care of them! Animals are family and we take care of family! I've got experience in everything from reptiles to birds, bunnies, cats, dogs, fish. Whatever you need I can do! I am here for your animal! This is my primary focus and what I love to do, so I can be available anytime you need me! I have a house and fenced yard, I have one dog and cats that are contained to separate parts of the house, unless your furry baby would like company then my animals are the sweetest loving things in the world! I am open to anything and anyone being able to come into my home and being able to go to other people's homes is always an option!
“Kyle was great. He arrived as expected and Chip came back happy as can be from his walk. I would definitely use him again. Don't hesitate to contact Kyle if you need help with your dog.”

About: I’ve always been a dog lover at heart (like… uncontrollably bawling during any dog movies like Benji). Since moving to Utah, I haven’t been able to have a dog of my own and my family’s dog was back with them in Virginia (although I’ve lived with many roommates’ dogs). Working from home allows me to spend time with them during hours that they are typically alone. I would love to fill in those gaps of time where schedules don’t allow you to be there! Every pup deserves to feel so loved and cared for, my goal is to treat them with the love and respect you do. I work from home Tuesday-Friday so I’m flexible during those days to come as needed for a walk, some pets, or just a little play time! I want to be as close to what you provide as possible. I treat every pet as I would want someone to treat my own. I will follow your instructions and follow their cues to the best of my ability.
About: My whole life, I have had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, sheep and rabbits. I have tons of experience taking care of animals. I have also raised three Guide Dogs for the Blind, this means I was certified in training. I love all animals, and I'm excited to care for yours! I work part-time and do school online, so my schedule is pretty flexible! and I can make most jobs work. I am available whenever you need me. I am clean, organized and trustworthy. You will not have to worry about me being in your home, I will treat your home with respect and care.
About: I've been around dogs my whole life and taking care of them since I was a little girl. I have experience with kinds of dogs ranging from taking care of senior dogs to training puppies, big and small. I currently work from home on my own schedule, so I am free and flexible to take your dog on a walk throughout all hours of the day. I am always cautious when entering and leaving a property to ensure your dog never escapes. I always walk with a leash in safe neighborhoods and sidewalks, which you are able to track. While walking, I always keep a portable dog bowl and fresh water available to ensure your dog never gets dehydrated. For high energy dogs that can handle sunlight, we will do a big walk at a fast pace. If your dog is a squished nose breed, I do my best to keep them out of direct sunlight so they do not overheat. I will walk at whatever pace is most comfortable for your dog and ensure they are well taken care of. I provide photo updates with every walk and you have direct access to my cellphone if you need to communicate.
About: 🐾 Hi, I'm Meg! If your dog could write this profile, they'd probably say, "Please hire her. She gives great walks, lots of attention, and treats me like the VIP I clearly am." 😏🐶 As a lifelong dog lover (and proud dog mom to my own 2 spoiled pups), I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your furry family member. Whether it's a drop-in visit for potty breaks, playtime, belly rubs, and fresh water, or a dog walk to burn off some zoomies, I'll make sure your pup gets plenty of love, attention, and care. I believe every dog deserves more than a quick check-in. I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy while you're away. Whether your dog is energetic and ready for adventure or prefers a slower pace and extra snuggles, I'll tailor my visits to their personality and needs. What you can expect: 🐾 Reliable and dependable care 🐾 Plenty of photos and updates 🐾 Walks, playtime, and potty breaks 🐾 Belly rubs and encouragement (for both of us 😂) 🐾 A caring sitter who treats your dog like family I can't wait to meet you and your four-legged best friend! 🐶💛 I am currently between work gigs so I have lots of time to play with your fur kids! My own 2 dogs are everything to me so you can rest assured that I will take the absolute best care of yours while they are with me! My own dogs are literally my entire universe and know how stressy it can be to have someone else care for them. I will treat your pets with the love and care I give to my own!
“Hayley was great with my pup! He’s a bit shy but she was patient and made sure he was comfortable with her, which was so amazing! I would recommend her for any of your pet’s needs!”

About: I’ve cared for many kinds of animals since I was a child – dogs, cats, a bird, reptiles and amphibians, fish, even cattle. Wide variety and depth of experience. I currently work from home, and occasionally run errands, but otherwise, I’m always nearby to attend to the pet’s needs. There’s always at least someone home to take care of our animals. I have a fenced backyard with shade. There’s plenty of space in the house to accommodate guests. My dogs are crate-trained and play well with other dogs.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
