About: I grew up with a Shiz tzu puppy for four years, and loved playing with and caring for him. I treat pets like they're my own family, like my puppy was! I also have taken care of cats in this way growing up, so I can care for them as well! I am pretty open as far as days I can walk or pet sit. I live in an apartment, so it's not particularly spacious. Therefore, I can only take up to 2 pets at a time. I can clean up accidents as well! I can walk, drop in on and even tend your pet in either my place or yours. However, I can only do these services for pets in the Provo/Orem area , as I don't have a car. I aIso prefer to take potty trained pets, but can clean up after them if/as needed! I live in an apartment, but there are great places to walk around my place. I will always have your pet on a leash when outside, and where I live is quite safe.

Autumn has been such a fabulous help for our Cleo. She is very quick to respond and is willing to work with our schedule. Our favorite time is seeing her Dog walk card after each walk and she updates us on how the walk went or if they ran into any issues which we appreciate. Highly recommended!

About: I am a responsible and loyal pet caretaker! I LOVE all animals and have owned or pet sat dogs, cats, and rodents. I walked my neighbors dog growing up and have cared for many animals since. I'm passionate about animal care because not only do they need it, but I also need time with pets! Animals need social and emotional connection, and that is what I give to pets. I am a college student taking the summer off to work, and am looking for opportunities to care for animals! I have a part time job in which I make my own hours, so I'm usually available to care for pets when needed. I am a student and cannot have pets in my own residence, however I am very respectful of others homes and make it a priority to leave spaces better than I found them.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always loved working with them. For two years, I worked as a boarding technician at a veterinary clinic, where I cared for dogs of all breeds and temperaments. My experience, both personal and professional, has given me a deep understanding of their needs and behavior. Pet care has always been a part of my life, Im going into vet school and anything that has to do with animals is like a dream come true. I have a Vizsla that is now 13 years old. I’ve had her ever since she was 1 years old. I’ve walked her and did everything with her but now she’s getting to old to go on some big walks. I have a big back yard that she loves to play and run or jog around in.

About: My family started a dog rescue, This One Starfish, and we've fostered dozens of dogs over the years in our home in Texas. We have Pomeranians and a Lab-Pit mix. I miss having pets around, and I am excited to meet yours! 💗 (Also I know my rates look super high - if you have more than one dog or cat, I can definitely bring down the additional fees. Ideally I'd charge $75 flat or less if it means I get to hold a puppy... but Rover won't let me price like that haha) I have class every weekday morning, but other than that, I am super flexible! I can usually work around your schedule even if you have last minute plans. I'll carve time to do whatever you tell me your pet would enjoy, and we will avoid situations that you think will be dangerous. I love to clean too, so let me know what spots need scrubbing!

About: I am a lifelong pet lover with experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages. I volunteer regularly at a local animal shelter and truly believe animals make the world softer and brighter. Last year, I lost my best friend: my cat, Tim (He's the orange kitty in my photos). Loving him taught me just how deep and sacred the bond between people and their pets really is. Because of that, caring for animals isn’t something I take lightly. I know that when you leave your pet with someone, you’re trusting them with a member of your family. Every visit I provide is intentional, patient, and full of genuine affection. Whether I’m caring for an energetic puppy, a shy rescue, or a senior cat who just wants a quiet presence, I meet them where they are. I treat every pet as if they were Tim, with gentleness, respect, and the kind of love that pays attention to the little things. My goal is simple: that your pet feels safe and cared for, and that you feel completely at ease while you’re away. ABOUT ME: -Actress and medical biller -Recently graduated from UVU with a BFA in Theatre Arts -Active and love to dance 💃 -Engaged to the love of my life 💍 -Bookworm and writer -Grew up as a military child -Lifelong cat lover; experience caring for playful pups, senior dogs, and a blind senior dog -Passionate about creating calm, loving, and safe experiences for every pet Availability & Routine: -Work remotely during the week, giving me a flexible and reliable schedule -Weekday drop-ins: before 10 AM and after 3 PM -Weekends: more open availability for both drop-ins and dog walks -Pet care is built into my weekly routine to ensure consistency, attention, and reliability For all bookings, I do a meet-n-greet (dogs, I prefer in-person to gauge energy; for cats, a call works just fine), not only to ensure my safety, but for your pet's safety and your confidence and peace of mind. Drop-Ins: -Greet pets calmly, move at their pace, follow their routine closely, and ensure they are settled comfortably before I leave. -Feed and refresh water according to instructions -Administer treats if provided -Clean up litter boxes or accidents as needed -Provide affection, attention, and companionship tailored to each pet’s personality Walks (weekends): -Focus on safe, structured exercise. -Adjust pace, distance, and activity for energetic, senior, or mobility-challenged dogs -Provide patient guidance for shy or nervous dogs -Always attentive to each dog’s behavior and comfort

About: I have vast pet care experience including animals such as dogs, cats, horses, chickens, rabbits, some reptiles, etc., which led me to my chosen major of wildlife animal conservation where I have worked with baby elks. I have worked with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and temperaments at Doggy Daycare Centers. Don’t worry if your dog is shy of people and skiddish or just has a big bark! I’ve worked with many behaviors and can adapt to the emotional needs of each pet. My schedule varies throughout the year as I am attending college and working, but I am willing to work with you. I am currently attending school at Brigham Young University, but I can still work around my class schedule to meet the needs of your pet! Back at my home in Oregon, we have 2 acres that allow our current dogs to explore, roam, and get plenty of exercise. Even in homes of all sizes, I believe that exercise for animals is beneficial and important.

About: I have taken care of animals as puppies and kittens to senior pets. I would volunteer at the humane society and help with vaccines, diets, transportation, adoption and foster care for the majority of my life. About: I have grown up with and taken care of dogs all my life. I have dog sat for family and friends. I worked in a dog kennel for a few months before moving out of state. I have cared for rabbits, cats and horses. I am a part time student. I prefer a schedule planned out but I am open to additional requests or animals added to my schedule. I live in a non gated but fenced community, still in the city, but almost in its own closed off area. Multiple streets within but one entrance.

About: I’ve dog sat for a few years now, mostly for people I knew back home. I’d get a dog but my apartment doesn’t allow them I’m working and in school part-time. I can stay overnight, as well as come back during the day when I have free time between school/work I can’t watch dogs at my home, but I’m more than willing to help you care for yours when you are unable to be home

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Provo. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Provo.

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Provo. On Rover:

  • 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 99% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
