“Aliyah took great care of our cats! She was very easy to communicate with and provided detailed updates. She also left cute punch cards with our pet’s names on them for future bookings! We felt confident that our pets and home were safe, and would definitely book Aliyah again!”

“Anna does a great job of taking care of my cat, Tater, who is super shy, but she’s gotten him to warm up to her! Came home, and the house looked perfect, clean litter box, full food and water bowls, and a happy cat!”

About: We've been a "dog family" as long as we can remember. My husband and I both grew up all types of dogs! We recently had our family dog pass away and although we're not ready to commit to a full time companion, we both love having dogs in our home. Our house is fenced with a doggy door. We love them as if they were our own! Just let us know if you don't want them on furniture or bed, because we love all the cuddles we can get! Dogs are like humans when they're with us. I work full time, in a hybrid setting, with flexibility to work from home or in the office. I love the flexibility this gives me to care for pets. We have a fenced in yard with access to a doggy door. We allow pets to roam, or we can crate as needed! We do have two small kids, so we'd like to know if that will be an issue during their stay.
About: I have over 7 years caring for dogs. I’ve had multiple dogs of my own and have fostered for a local rescue here in Utah. I’ve cared for senior dogs, dogs with illnesses like cancer and puppies. I currently have 1 dog of my own (Chomper), who was a foster fail. I’ve always treated my dogs like my children and will do the same for your pups. I currently work from home most days (besides Wednesday), so I am home the majority of the time. During the day, your dogs will get play time and walks. We live in a townhome with a doggy door and tall fences in the back, so your dogs can go outside whenever they'd like. My husband and I are home a lot on the weekends and spend a large amount of time with the dogs. Safety always comes first for me for any pups. By working from home, it allows me to keep a close eye on the dogs. From my experience with multiple dogs and fostering, I’ve learned what body language to watch out for and what items to keep away. The fences in the back area of our townhome are close to 6 feet, which helps keep dogs secure while enjoying outside.
About: Had pets of all kinds since I was a baby, big guys and small guys. Taken care of friends and neighbors pets for longer than I can remember! I’ll make sure I follow your instructions to a T and give your pet as much love/affection/safety as you do. They will be in the best of hands and happy as ever!
“Cheri has been wonderful with our cats! We have one that is shy with strangers, and Cheri has been so patient and kind with him. He's trusting her more and more and it makes me so happy to see photos of him wanting pets from her! Cheri is the best!”

About: My family has always had fur-siblings in the house. Any given day, during my youth, you could find me on the floor or in the yard wrestling with the dogs, taking them for walks, and throwing the ball for them at the park. From a young age, I learned to respect the different personalities and preferences that different cats have and how to love them in the way that is best for them. I know that cats and dogs will start to stress when their humans are away from the house and their routine is disrupted. I empathize with them and would love to be a reliable companion for them during your time away. I also realize how important it is for pet/home owners to receive updates and pictures to maintain peace of mind that all is well back home. When I'm in other people's homes, I have the utmost respect for them and their precious possessions. I aim to keep everything in it's place and clean. You can count on me to be respectful and excited to take care of your pets and home while you are away! Right now, I am working a part-time job, which leaves me with plenty of time to dedicate to your beloved fur-babies! Spending time with your animals, young and old, will be as good for my mental health as it is for theirs. Taking note of your pets' regular routine and your preferences will be my priority. I will inform you of my schedule so we can discuss how we can bring the two together to give everyone the most stress-free experience as possible.
About: I stand out by giving each dog personalized love and attention. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, always caring with patience and affection. As a stay-at-home mom with a child, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and care throughout the day and night. I care for pets in a safe and loving environment. In my home, I have a fenced yard where dogs can be securely, and I always make sure they feel comfortable and at home.
About: I have been training and taking care of my own dog for the past couple of years. I believe in positive reinforcement and will give your pet love in the time we are together. I have had my own rabbits for the past 8 years and have pet sit for cats and dogs before. I grew up with cats and dogs and always taking in the strays. I work from home Thursday and Friday. I am around on the weekends. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday I work in Provo so I am still close by to help with pets. I can keep rabbits in my rabbit room with my own rabbits. I let my rabbits free roam and would do the same for yours. I will give your pets love and will take care of their needs at your instruction.

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals, among those of course being dogs and cats. My background includes pet sitting, dog walking, feeding, grooming, administering medication, and providing companionship. I'm comfortable working with pets of all ages and temperaments. I am currently a medical student who loves animals, most of my time is spent studying just about anywhere so I'm pretty flexible when it comes to scheduling. I love playing in the yard with my dog or just taking him for a walk to let him explore new smells. Car rides for a pup cup are also super fun! With older dogs I really enjoy just sitting outside with them and sunbathing because I have found my older dog really enjoys that.
About: I have a golden retriever who is about to be 6 years old! I love him so much! While I’m away at college I miss him so much, i know I’ll take care of your pet like they are my own! I am also available to bathe and brush your dogs I’m a full time college student with classes Mon-Wed evenings, that means I’m free the whole weekend and mornings every day! About: I've cared for a wide variety of animals and understand that each one has their own personality, needs, and comfort level. I tend to connect especially well with older or more cautious animals, and I've often found that pets who are usually reserved around people warm up to me quickly. I have experience helping raise and train dogs from puppyhood and am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes. In addition to dogs and cats, I've cared for snakes and tortoises and am happy to learn the specific needs of different animals. I've also fostered, rescued, and cared for kittens, including providing extra attention and support for young or vulnerable animals. Above all, I aim to create a calm, positive environment for pets while carefully following each owner's instructions and routines so both pets and owners can feel at ease. I am most often available in the mornings, evenings, and all day on the weekends. My work schedule if fairly flexible to best suit my client’s needs. I prioritize following each owner’s routine closely to ensure consistency and comfort for their pets. My approach focuses on building trust and a sense of safety by first allowing animals to adjust to my presence and move at their own pace. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual energy and cues—engaging in play when they’re interested, offering affection when they seek it, and respecting their boundaries at all times. Alongside this, I maintain their daily care needs, including feeding, hygiene, and overall well-being, according to the instructions provided. My goal is to create a calm, reliable environment where pets feel secure and understood, and where owners can feel confident their animals are being cared for with attention, respect, and consistency.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
