About: We've been a "dog family" as long as we can remember. My husband and I both grew up all types of dogs! We recently had our family dog pass away and although we're not ready to commit to a full time companion, we both love having dogs in our home. Our house is fenced with a doggy door. We love them as if they were our own! Just let us know if you don't want them on furniture or bed, because we love all the cuddles we can get! Dogs are like humans when they're with us. I work full time, in a hybrid setting, with flexibility to work from home or in the office. I love the flexibility this gives me to care for pets. We have a fenced in yard with access to a doggy door. We allow pets to roam, or we can crate as needed! We do have two small kids, so we'd like to know if that will be an issue during their stay.

The fences in the back area of our townhome are close to 6 feet, which helps keep dogs secure while enjoying outside.

About: I started volunteering at a pet shelter when I was 13, and I’ve been caring for animals ever since. Family and friends have trusted me with their pets for years, and I’ve gained hands-on experience through petsitting, volunteering, and caring for my own animals—which has been the best learning experience of all.
